What do you like best about the product?
Very transparent data encryption and attack protection

I hate it when it tries to block my penetration attempt.

What is most valuable?
Imperva DDoS is fairly stable, and its availability is quite high. I haven't faced any downtime or system instability issues with the solution.
What needs improvement?
Imperva DDoS does not provide version control. After I make any changes on any portal, I would want to roll back my changes and go back to a stable version if something goes wrong. That particular feature is not there on the UI portal.
They have this roundabout way wherein I can use different tools to integrate, do the versioning, and manage it on my own. It's not directly available, but I can use it indirectly.

I have been using Imperva DDoS for two to three years.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Imperva DDoS is a scalable product.
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup is a bit difficult and not very easy. It's not that time-consuming if you have expertise. Once you get your hands on it, it's pretty straightforward.
What other advice do I have?
Imperva DDoS is deployed on-cloud in our organization.
I would recommend Imperva DDoS to users because it's a fairly stable product.
Overall, I rate Imperva DDoS an eight out of ten.

Also, DDoS attacks appear in different ways every single time. Thus, it is challenging to implement. It is crucial to know its surface, nature, and how to implement the security measures.

What do you like best about the product?
It provides protection for all the platforms, like Active and legacy applications, third party applications, and also Cloud and container applications. I've already looked into other competitors such as F5 and SiteWall, but the Imperva firewall seems to be a bit better than those two.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't seen a downfall while using this firewall since it has been protecting all the applications regardless of the platform and provides full time monitoring, alerting and remediation of Web traffic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since organisations are moving to cloud-based environments and depending more on the internet, WAF can help you precisely monitor Ports 443 and 80 and prevent Web-based Targeted and Non-targeted attacks, which will help you to secure all kinds of applications that the organisations are using and hosting on their web and application servers.

Its benefits me in lot of contraints. When it comes to configurations and implementation it the easy on access to prove it has the best industry standards towards the future.

1. We have very few options for policy config, Customers often asked us for more options.
2. Since it is a cloud platform, our customers often Dissatisfies that they have to raise a support ticket every time they need Logs from Imeprva. (It is a time consuming process).

Most of the WAF in industry have complicated and on prem solutions, But being an cloud waf there's very less complications for deploymeny.
Also it protects with top 10 OWASP which is mandatory for me with all the custom rules i have for my domains

It has strong features including effective protection for web application vulnerabilities. It has advanced protection capabilities, integration with threat intelligence and very good technical support.

The disadvantage is it is difficult for anyone new to understand how to use the interface of the platform.

It helps proactively defend web applications for cyber threats. It maintain the availability and integrity of our online services. Every data is protected and our applications are safe under web application firewall.
