An excellent low resource media server
I've researched a large number of media servers available on the market today. None come close to the ease of use, capabilities or reliability as Evostream.
Instillation was literally one click with an AMI. It was up and running in minutes. I'm actually surprised how easy it was. Others I've tried didn't have an AMI, or required system parameters that were not easy to implement.
So far so good. We've used Evostream's API documentation to implement streaming logs, event notifications and cloud recording. Creating HLS files is pretty easy and even transcoding into different resolutions or bitrates isn't that hard.
AWS resources are considerably low for what we are streaming and we couldn't be happier.
We did run into one issue which was resolved easily by reaching out to Evostream. Was resolved within half a day. Which was lightning quick compared to other companies that I've dealt with.
