Cool solution for improving backup management
What do you like best about the product?
It is pretty cool to be able to clean your on-premises storage and keep that data in the cloud. I guess this is a pretty regular case when you don't fully migrate to cloud infraestructure. Easy to setup and works pretty good with S3 buckets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think about something I dislike about this, my use case was pretty simple. Maybe just be aware of network issues, allocate some time windows in which your network can handle the volume of data you are moving.

Improve on-premises storage usage.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to manage infrastructure and deployment using AWS native tools
What do you dislike about the product?
too many service that can confuse while creating IAAS or SAAS service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it provides multiple SAAS services like AMP for manage large scale Prometheus and athena for analysing s3 data etc..

The UI (User Interface) of AWS Console is very productive, and you can easily find resources for your usecases on Internet

AWS Console UI changes so frequently that if you left working for 30 days, you will see a new UI for the services that you have worked on past

AWS is providing a platform which gives you a leverage of unlimited Storage & Compute Power, you don't have to buy costly servers for your uscase like On-Premise

What do you like best about the product?
AWS Cloud Offers wire range of Cloud Services such as EC2, Cloud Storage,databases, networking, machine learning, analytics, security, and more. AWS Cloud provides scalable infrastructure, allowing applications to seamlessly handle fluctuations in traffic and demand.
What do you dislike about the product?
While AWS is one of the best Backend Development Provider, it has some drawbacks, such as its complexity and learning curve for a beginner. It provides various cost management tools; understanding and optimising costs can be challenging for users who fail to monitor resource usage closely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AWS Allows users to optimise resource costs by offering a pay-as-you-go model, which is also very helpful for small-medium businesses. AWS Cloud has a vast global infrastructure with multiple data centres across different regions. This helps me choose the region closer to me and my users for faster and better loading time.
Excellent and cheap cloud storage solution
What do you like best about the product?
I like the how easy is it to implement it. I played around with File and Volume gateway and eventually went with file gateway as per my project requirements.
Connecting the gateway to AD and mapping it to server/PC is really simple. I have implemented this solution instead to use on prem storage services.

What do you dislike about the product?
EC2 host as gateway is not fully developed and definitely not easy to implement. I used Vmware Esxi as a solution and that worked out great. but i tried with ec2 first and that wasn't working with public ip. Didn't try with VPC but it should work with public as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I implement cloud storage solution with intelligent tiering for my company. Saves costs and easy to implement. We dont have to worry about redundant storage on premises. AWS takes care of that. We moved all our on prem storage to cloud using file gateway.

What do you like best about the product?
AWS provides n number of services for each slab, whether it be business, enterprise, developer or any individual. It integrates with multiple platforms.
There is a free version that one can opt for, and If you are an individual exploring the services, you do not have to buy into the entire ecosystem, and there is no hurry from AWS for you to do so.

Privacy and data theft is a concern for most of the organizations.
Though it provides pay as you use service but sometimes it can be trouble if the on-going services are not stopped when not in use.
Constant changes in rates makes it a problem to set a budget of services that are used.

High-end cloud computing storage problems are solved due to easy and secure S3 storage service. Building CI/CD pipeline using AWS and achieving automation. Fewer dependencies on on-premises datacentre, which has reduced setup cost

What do you like best about the product?
AWS offers easily accessible, affordable cloud storage options for businesses that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. You can get on-demand cloud services and it has pay-as-you-go pricing which is affordable and best for businesses. You can quickly move your applications to the cloud quickly and simply by using just a few clicks. Additionally, it offers specialized database applications with the proper tools already included. It is a must-have for any business, startup, or corporation, in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first, it feels complicated for beginners to get started with it. The interface of half of the applications is still pretty old. Also, the billing of the used cloud services is not mentioned in detail. It has a very overall view of the prices. Sometimes, you really need to optimize your expenses all the time. Also, there should a predicting tool to know how much would it cost to run a particular job on the cloud.

AWS can be used with almost every framework and application. It has a great integration and documentation with steps and everything. There are a lot of Free-Tier tools that you can use before starting to pay. It has helped in minimizing the work of manual work which can now be handled by AWS. It is cheaper and easy to implement.

I think AWS does a good job in the server maintenance and orchestration department. I think it makes things a lot easier for infrastructure engineers and your dev ops needs.
