Useful but not easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to write directly sql for a report.

Sometime slow. Old technologies. Old UI.

I frequently using Jasper reports, and as per my opinion, we can customize our reports and generate reports easily.

It's old design, required more friendly designs. We can't integrate all required tables to customize our reports, and it's required code changes.

It helps to generate report so we can build and customize our own reports and dashboards without any DB/ IT support.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers excellent ease of use, making it simple for our team to get started with minimal training. The implementation process was smooth and quick, with clear documentation and helpful onboarding. We've been impressed with the customer support, which is responsive and knowledgeable. We use the tool frequently in our daily operations, showing a high frequency of use. It comes packed with a solid number of features that meet most of our needs, and the ease of integration with our existing systems has been seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jaspersoft can be difficult to use without technical expertise. Implementation takes time, and support isn’t always responsive. Some features feel outdated, and integration with other tools can require extra effort.

Jaspersoft helps us turn raw data into clear, customizable reports and dashboards. It saves time, improves data visibility, and supports better decision-making across teams.
Automates Reporting with Ease but Needs Data Handling Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jaspersoft is how easily it automates most of our reporting. We are able to build new ad hoc reports or custom reports through domains, and the permission system works very well. Based on profile attributes, we can show saved reports as public or private, and the same applies for custom reports too.
We use Jaspersoft to generate PDF, CSV, and XLSX files, and once the schedule is created, everything is automatically sent by email or SFTP without any manual work. I also appreciate that the exported files come out clean and that we can reuse the same templates whenever needed.

What do you dislike about the product?
When working with very large datasets, performance can slow down, and rendering takes noticeably longer. Sometimes we also run into row-limit issues. I also feel the UI could use an updated design—it works fine but does look a little outdated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jaspersoft for generating PDF, CSV, and XLSX reports and scheduling them. It saves us time by automating reports and sending them via email and FTP. Once set up, reports generate automatically, which is really helpful and makes our daily and monthly reporting efficient.

Jaspersoft is a user friendly interface supporting wide variety of datasources and it's open source. Highly customizable and scheduking reports is seamless. Good customer support !!

What do you like best about the product?
Jaspersoft is a great tool for making reports and dashboards. It's easy to design reports using its drag-and-drop tool, and it supports many file formats like PDF and Excel. I liked how well it works with Java applications and different databases. it is very helpful for creating reports quickly and sharing them with others.

Jaspersoft is powerful, but it can be hard to learn at first. Sometimes performance is slow with large data, and fixing errors isn't always easy

it helps us create and deliver custom reports and dashboards directly from our applications. It solves the problem of manually generating reports by automating report creation, scheduling, and exporting in formats like PDF or Excel

What do you like best about the product?
The customization to reports based on different needs via filters is a big win. Dynamic report generation is one of the heavily used functionality and works really well. iReports plays a key role in creating or customizing the report. Overall it's superfast and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization of a report templated for multiple functionalities is little difficult in dynamic reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting reports generated for daily schedules for nurses and physicians, managing their payroll reports, attendance reports are some of the key functionalities. We are using lot more than that which includes roster generation, weekly/monthly work reports, holiday reports, etc.
