I love OpenVPN but AWS is charging me nearly double what this virtual machine is actually worth. I get an EC2 service charge which is correct for the services consumed, and then I get a Marketplace charge of approximately the same amount. For what? The OS is free to run, the vpn server is free to obtain, and the only thing of value is the 25 seat license, which is worth no more than $450 per year yet Marketplace charges for this will be triple that.
Have you actually bothered to check the license costs on the OpenVPN website: https://openvpn.net/access-server/pricing/ Pick 25 seats and see what is says per year...you seem to have missed a "1" off the front of your estimate.
