The most comprehensive Data Visualization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik Sense offers an easy-to-use user interface, matched with an extremely robust back end. Data load, transformation, security, and governance are managed easily and in the most professional and secure way. The ability to aggregate millions and billions of rows on the fly, without the need in pre-aggregating, makes it very effective in terms of getting to the desired insights faster and in the most cost-effective way.
One of the strongest areas is loading and combining data from multiple data sources. With Qlik Sense' robust Data Load scripting language, we can load data from virtually any data source, merge and associate data elements from multiple sources and analyze that versatile data in one App. Truly magical, comparing to other tools that I've tried in my 30+ years of IT background...
While the tool is intuitive and easy to pick up in a few days, it offers a lot of depth. For extremely complex data analytics, it offers comprehensive tools and robust functions that can tackle issues of utmost complexity.
I've been using the tool, and its predecessor QlikView, for almost 20 years, and I'm still in love with their magic!

What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to QlikView, Qlik Sense is targeting the business users audience, which makes the user interface simpler to use, at the expense of professional developers giving up their control over the presentation features. The charts are mostly configured automatically, with very few configurable settings. It saves a lot of time, however it makes it more difficult to create a particular "look and feel". This gap is somewhat covered through the use of extensions, mashups, and CSS themes, however these modern technologies require new skill sets, beyond the traditional data analytic skills.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a customer (in the past), I was solving a variety of business problems - Sales analysis, Profitability, Inventory, AR and AP tracking, financial reporting, production planning, etc. As a consultant, I help my client solve problems in all areas of the business spectrum - manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, financial services, even microbiology analytics and reporting. The tool is truly versatile and allows me to analyze any data in any electronic format.

Of great utility and easy access and handling since its functions offer the possibility of making any type of data analysis in a practical and effective way, improving the handling of the data and the access to it.

Your learning curve at the beginning may be a little difficult to understand how to use the functions of this tool in a practical and effective way.

Power and ease when performing and developing data analysis in a practical and effective way thanks to the functions offered by this tool.
Powerful visual workflow management product.
What do you like best about the product?
The performance speed of this tool is excellent, second the ability of data collection from multiple sources and even the collaboration capability provided by Qlik Sense is the best.
Reporting and the search options they really help the user, and the communication through this software is nice.
Financial, marketing and the employees management can be very well done via this tool and it has the ability on high volume data processing power.

None for to say. Qlik Sense is the best and the easiest data management platform and its pricing method is great.

One of the most effective analytics platforms
What do you like best about the product?
The most common features which I have used and found the remarkable results are the easy drag and drop of the data for building analytics applications, the basic tools which has helped me to create the smart visualizations and the automated process which has reduced my work load. In addition its mobile application is the key solution to my everyday problems and helps me to stay active so that I can take actions whenever required. For me this tool is one of the most reliable tool that provides outstanding privacy system.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qilk sense needs some improvement about the speed of operation. Moreover I have no complaint against this program. I am getting satisfying and reliable services. If I talk about my experience I would say it has been the most effective and user friendly tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its APIs provide me an embedded analytical support and provide support for the numerous scaling users, without any issue in governance standards. The graphical representation of the data has further added to ease and with one glimpse I have the overall idea about the progress of my organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If the pricing policy could get more reasonable than I think small setups would also make a difference. Till now we have accomplished our various goals which were entirely depended on the data analytics because it helped us to take the most right decisions.

It is hard to manage table sizing and formatting on UI

The visualizations/look-and-feel always seem behind Tableau

I am helping business users gain access to information that they have never been able to get before...and it is helping the organization become far more data-driven.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do a proof of concept to confirm it works as advertised; use a reputable Qlik implementation partner...even in the sales process...they are really helpful.
Data democratization and literacy made easy
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, wealth of resources to research common use cases, formulas etc. Ability to edit on the fly. The ability to edit enterprise worksheets on your own individual instance of the application and not affect what others see is fantastic for empowering business users who have a problem they need to solve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionalities not out of box, need extensions which does not always fly in enterprise environments/creates extra noise in the process. User tokening system can be a bit confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving supply chain issues related to (previously) silo'd data and how we can use that data to make better purchasing decisions when taking into account forecasting, lead time, pricing, proper stock levels, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s been a short span of time since we have shifted to this software for having the detailed data analytics. It is very much diverse in its nature I always refer to it as associative analytics engine which has high performance cloud platform. Qlik Sense is my every day necessity for taking the best decisions for managing the complexities. Now due to its BI tools I feel very easy to search and explore the insights of entire data of my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Qlik Sense is heavy software which sometimes makes my system slow. Also it is not that much user friendly, some technical knowledge is always associated with it. Further the reporting is not that much effective as compare to other data analytical tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This software automates most of the processes for me and helps to establish a data driven team. As I previously mentioned that it is diverse so it provides Saas for choosing any cloud for the data processing and provides multiple integrations and APIs which provides full control over the data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We are its new customers so I still we are discovering its various aspects. But it is very suitable for large business setups and especially for retail and manufacturing business it will benefit them the most.
Everything is just one Qlik away
What do you like best about the product?
Qlik is so easy to use and understand. Every report i need is just one Qlik away.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing i dislike about Qlik it is so much better than my previous reports i would have to spend copious amounts of time producing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to heat map with QLIK which allows me to see trends and do a root cause analysis. I have over 10 different reports in QLIK i use daily from workload management, forecasting, staffing trends and quarterly business reviews.

The below are list of desired options and not dislikes. May be they are in the roadmap of Qlik
1. The available themes for displays are limited. The Qlik sense hub should have options to select background image of a Corporate logo or a collage of products. Though this can be done but not easy to do so.
2. Like competition make N Printing part of main software. Logging to multiple system for configuring mail and others should be reduced
3. The full grid report/ straight table report features that are available in Qlik view should be made available in the Qlik sense also.
4, More charting options like sunburst charts etc to be included

Our traditional reporting system was those static reports generated from the ERP system. This was a time consuming activity. Analysis and Dashboards creation was taking time using excel.
With Qlik sense we are getting reports and dashboards within less than a minute.
We use Qlik r creating reports and dashboards for our Sales, Secondary sales, Supply chain, Production and Finance modules.
All analysis on customer, product with sales monthly, quarterly and yearly with Growth over last year. also Production related OEE, TEEP and Supplier related OTIF analysis are also done with Qlik
Finance MIS reports like P&L, BS, Cash Flow and customer and supplier wise OS statements are done through Qlik with dashboards.
Through N Printing we are able to send daily sales and stock reports to all key people in the organization.

The Business process should be clearly understood before selecting any BI software, The requirement should be clearly signed off with functional users. The data should be cleaned of unwanted transactions, the data modelling should be done properly if the data is distributed or from multiple sources use third party tools .
