A single solution to solve many challenges
What do you like best about the product?
As a shared hosting provider, we always want to offer stable, fast and scalable solutions, it's often hard to get all 3 right without adding additional complexity or lacking features.
However, the LiteSpeed Web Server manages to solve all 3, in a simple and efficient way.
It solved scalability problems with its event-driven engine and their LSCache with ESI caching support, the compatibility by supporting .htaccess and mod_rewrite rules, and the security by having an awesome implementation of ModSecurity rules.
Additionally, it supports graceful restarts that are actually graceful! And best of all, they do the uttermost to support the latest technologies such as QUIC, TLSv1.3, and HTTP/2.
I couldn't be happier!

What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing about LiteSpeed Web Server I dislike.
If I have to mention something, but then again it's not really bad: They update software and plugins so fast with new features, that it's hard to keep up sometimes ;)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we used Apache, we used to have odd stability problems with blackouts during restarts where no traffic would be served.
We also had issues where ModSecurity rulesets would simply consume so much CPU, that Apache would consume multiple cores simply for serving static files.
Additionally, we'd have issues sometimes with customers doing a ton of traffic in terms of requests per second, and especially if customers would serve long-running requests such as mp4 videos on mobile devices.
As an added benefit we were looking for a generic caching solution that would be "standardized" on our platform for all our customers.
LiteSpeed solved all 4 of these requirements, in a single piece of software.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those who need a single solution to solve multiple problems, and who works in high traffic environments, I can surely recommend LiteSpeed Web Server at any point.

Rock Solid Performance
What do you like best about the product?
Litespeed is extremely stable and the performance is unmatched. We have put Magento on Apache, Nginx, and Litespeed with no content. Litespeed is hands down the cleaner and better solution for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer open source products normally, however they do offer open LiteSpeed. It takes quite a bit for me to use a commercial solution over an open source one, and LiteSpeed really justifies it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers enjoy higher reliability and more consistent performance for their customers. During heavy visitor times, LiteSpeed just handles the traffic beautifully.
Extremely fast
What do you like best about the product?
Litespeed is extremely fast compared to traditional Apache servers that I’ve used in the past. Litespeed support is also very open and responsive to issues and suggestions for improvement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike about litespeed. It has every feature I’ve ever needed and then some.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Site performance is always a concern for us and litespeed continues to outperform every other server technology we use in that area. Clients that host with us continuously outperform clients that host in traditional services, even after we implement all of our other techniques for increasing performance.
