Support and commercial assistance
What do you like best about the product?
OpenVPN Access Server is very easy to use, and the management and isolation of networks and sub-networks is really simplified. The connection in SAML really facilitates user connections, especially for the administrator. The support is excellent, always a response in a very short time and very quick commercial follow-up. I recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be interesting to have more autonomy in managing licenses, being able to add or remove them according to the client's needs without necessarily having to go through the sales representative each time. This is just a detail and maybe an idea, but nothing serious in itself!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The secure connection to company resources, securing user access using SAML via Microsoft or Google Authenticator, and the online documentation which is really very comprehensive.

What do you dislike about the product?
The setup for an Ubuntu OpenVPN access server is a little complicated if you aren't accustomed to Linux - also keeping it secure with best practices; but this isn't OpenVPN's problem.

OpenVPN AS is a well-supported, robust VPN solution.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about OpenVPN AS is that it is pretty much literally a turn-key product. They have a virtual appliance available that works out of the box with NO installation, per se, required.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of AS, however is that a lot of the detailed configuration and control options are only available via a command-line interface, which is not exactly intuitive. It is, however, quite well documented and there are numerous forums online where you can find how-to-do whatever it is you are needing to do.
