Provides hybrid cluster setup and highly stable solution

What is our primary use case?

Our use cases involve deploying the Forcepoint solution, which includes installing the SMC server, management server, log server, as well as physical appliances and designing the clustering of Forcepoint.

What is most valuable?

Forcepoint is a good solution because it has a central server that serves as a management console. You can manage 100s of firewalls from this single console. Additionally, a key advantage is that Forcepoint provides VPN services as part of its basic subscriptions. It is not necessary to pay extra to use VPN services.

What needs improvement?

There is certainly room for improvement. In larger companies with extensive infrastructure, retrieving logs for a longer period of time can sometimes take a bit longer than desired.

In bigger companies with a larger volume of logs; it takes more time to retrieve them due to the increased amount of data.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been working with Forcepoint for about two years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

It is a very stable solution. If you set everything well, if your policy is well designed, it's stable.

Overall, I would rate the stability a nine out of ten.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

It is a very scalable solution. If you don't have enough capacity, you can easily double or even triple it. If you need to add extra Forcepoint devices due to insufficient power, it's just a matter of expanding the cluster. Additionally, the physical boxes can be set up as a hybrid cluster, which means you don't necessarily need the same expensive appliances. You can purchase more affordable ones and integrate them into the Acris cluster. Forcepoint's physical appliances can share and distribute the network traffic between them.

We have enterprise-level as well as small-sized clients.

How are customer service and support?

The customer service and support are quite good. They are very educated. I never had a case that I wasn't able to solve successfully. So, they are reliable.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup is very easy because all you need to do is create a USB disk, which you can obtain from the management server. You configure it once. After that, you just connect the physical server to Ethernet, insert the USB disk, and turn it on. Everything else will be done. You configure it for the first time on the management server and then install it on the FlashDesk. After that, you simply connect the physical server to Ethernet, insert the USB disk, and turn it on. That's it. And everything else will be taken care of.

What about the implementation team?

If you do a simple installation, just the physical setup, it's a matter of hours. For a single installation, for a small business or company where you have around 150 users on the network edge, one engineer is enough. Therefore, the time to deploy the solution depends on the size of the installation.

Moreover, some maintenance is required for the solution. One person or one administration is enough for maintenance.

What other advice do I have?

I would recommend the solution. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten because there are disadvantages like only some logs for enterprises. It takes a bit longer for it.

The solution's most valuable features are reporting, support, and classification of cyber attacks.

They should provide more details on potential cyber-attacks over a dashboard or email for the solution. Also, they should include centralized dashboard configuration and management.

The solution's technical support team is quite responsive and provides consistent support.

The solution's initial setup process is complex. It is challenging to identify new and existing systems.

The solution is expensive.

What do you like best about the product?
Next-Gen helps not just stop the intruder but it senses the loopholes that would be at risk of exploitation and help the team fix them. A must-have product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any dislike at the movement; Next-Gen has identified all the customer requirements and developed it. If anyone doesn't have Next-Gen, that's my dislike. :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Next-Gen have helped my ROI grow; my response team can better manage their time for other essential items on their plates that require their quality and cognitive thinking.

What do you like best about the product?
Forcepoint keeps the product up to date as per the industry needs. The most important thing that I liked is it provides the administrators to monitor the cyber attacks
What do you dislike about the product?
No proper trial version to hands on, A proper documentation need to be developed.They still need to work more on user interface.
I want you guys to focus more on self training videos and to maintain a learning platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is mostly helpful in Virtual Private Network connections. And it helps in cyber attacks and unknown threats. It will be the main source for security in the market going forward.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and easy to configure and understand. Easy to detect vulnerabilities and fix. Comparing to other legacy products this is very updated according to the industry need.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if documents or troubleshooting steps can be provided and updated regularly. To make ease to create support requests and to use trial versions easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to implement effective security architecture to prevent cyber attacks. Especially my organization iqvia recenlty strated exploring it in our Azure Cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, good UX and VPN workflow. Overall it is as per my need and suits us. Also centeralized control is the feature which we liked the most.

For the first time configuration, it is still a bit tricky. Expecting a better documentation

What do you like best about the product?
The best software for architecture the network for multi cluster architecture. It is better to have configure the security for ingress and outgrew for each and every nodes in the cluster architecture and this is the best tool to go for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not that much easy to configure the firewalls. It requires more time and effort to structure a network with firewalls configured as it takes time to self build.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Security issues getting solved, and configuring a firewall system for a multi cluster architecture network is possible without much intervention of security audits.
