What do you like best about the product?
Lo mejor de Mysql es su gran rendimiento y la gran variedad informacion y documentacion que podemos encontrar por internet.
Es un sistema con bastantes años de experiencia y eso da tranquilidad a la hora de usarlo.
What do you dislike about the product?
No sabria decir realmente lo que menos me gusta, ya que lo veo bastante completo , quizas otros sistemas de gestión de base de datos son algo mas rápidos al devolver los resultados consultados.

Te ayuda a mantener un estructura de datos y poder almacenarlos y consultarlos en cuanto quieras, y a su vez poder implementarlo en aplicaciones para su uso

Pues que quizas MariaDB puede ser muy parecido y con alguna mejora respecto a Mysql, pero Mysql siempre aporta una gran seguridad.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a friendly software very easy and powerful. It is a very well known database
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not open source and it does not support data partitions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was managing all my databases of all my projects from there

It is a good start to know the databases, how it works, how to manage them, etc. It's free and have a visual interface that makes it easier to work with it

Full featured relational database with excellent online resources and source code available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Admin panel could be better, especially on mobile when need to do a quick change on the road.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the availability of MySQL across multiple platforms like LInux and Mac. Further, I love that it integrates so well with IntelliJ enabling me to store my database within Intellij and acess it without having to open MySQL
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the complexity of MySQL as well as the price. Initially, the features that MySQL offers and the steps taken to set up the database are extensive and takes a true software engineer to figure out. It is not friendly to those who simply need a database to store information of clients for a ecommerce site or such. Further, the price is quite steep.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used MySQL to support a few websites to store user data on clients and users. The main benefit is that I can access it across multiple platforms and within other programs like IntelliJ.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend this product to only those who are extremely familiar with databases and setting them up. For simple tasks and those with minimal knowledge, I would not recommend turning to MySQL

El manejo es muy sencillo y con la ayuda del software aprendes a utilizar cualquier herramienta.

Es necesario hacer paradas puesto que el fondo blanco de trabajo cansa la vista.

Es muy util para gestionar la base de datos de la empresa que nos solicita el trabajo y siempre solucionamos los problemas con esta herramienta.

Es un programa muy recomendable para dar soluciones a problemas de bases de datos automatizadas de una manera muy cómoda.

One of the most used and powerful databases

What do you like best about the product?
It is very powerful and each version increases the quality of the product. Many web applications, client - server applications and other software use MySQL as the default database, for example, PHP and MySQL have a great link between them and PHP web applications use MySQL as database in many many cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was buy by Oracle and this company started to limit most of the free options so many people start to migrate to MariaDB (you can consider it as a fork of MySQL)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use MariaDB as our default database when we don't have to install other databases as Oracle or DB2. It is very flexible, powerful and has a great community to help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need software like MySQL you can get the support from Oracle buying MySQL or you can use MariaDB with the help of the communty and when you think MariaDB is short, you can migrate to MySQL

What do you like best about the product?
Easy configuration, nice connectivity with all programming languages and IDEs. Good Workbench and free.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the best database for large applications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
License free. Nice connectivity with JPA and Hibernate. Easy to configure and operate.

Take this for small-medium applications.

The connectivity with the system has been very simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The use of some existing functions in oracle like Decode.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storage of user data and analysis of stations.

The software allows to work in a more than correct way at an unbeatable price, since it is free.

What do you like best about the product?
The price point of course. With tweaking for query types and making best use of the hardware, I ran a top 500 internet site with only a frontend apache/memcached/litehttpd
What do you dislike about the product?
Very cumbersome and rarely straightforward as to the pinpoint source of lag, especially with a system live and unable to be taken offline. Scripts, tips, and all that exists, feels like it needs to be read to know silly little parameters and indexing design
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ran a site getting 20million+ hits a day, excluding the malicious traffic thar added more database traffic that. Two Lowend servers was all that was needed once I delved I to optimizing every little
