What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, open source, support is very good

Functionality tends to be heavily dependent on add ons, stability issue

The database is not fully SQL compliant, due to this its relative dearth of functionality is frustrating

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to utilise and available on almost every single web hosting provider. The best part is that all the major cloud providers like Amazon Web Services, Google and Azure has fully managed solutions for MySQL
What do you dislike about the product?
Lousy feature updates and development from Oracle. Postgresql has taken over it

Website development. Easy to deploy, backup and redeploy across different cloud providers

I was also scared to use databases until I came across MySQL which has made me love database and it's functionalitites. It's price and ease make it stand out from others.

Till now, I am enjoying using MySQL. There is nothing I can say that I didn't like.

What do you like best about the product?
One of the important thing which I like most about MySQL is that we can learn it very easily , its not complicated with like others.
Its open source give the ability to get everything customization as you want, it means you get freedom of usage.
Another important factor about MySQL is that it is inexpensive , you don't bother about the pricing of the Database.
And the last but not the least its still compatible with industry standards. It fulfill all the standards for development purpose from small scale to large scale application.

What do you dislike about the product?
In my opinion it has all the features as important as which may comes with Free version of something.
But I also want to headlight some key factors.
Sometimes it get stuck on a query and never get back till refresh or restart thing which we are doing.
another thing which is important is that it not follow the community standards,
Most of the times it depends on some external third party addon. which is not good as performance wise.

Easy to learn get work done on time, without worrying about the feature and functionality. Community support is large on stack-overflow or other medium which is good thing which helps to understand problem quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
It is safe and secure. It's one of the simplest software. Even a person with basic knowledge of SQL can learn to work on this within a short period of time. A person looking to start his/her work in DBMS should definitely start from MySQL.

It is not able to handle large databases very efficiently.

I have used MySQL for various personnel projects. And from the time I started using it, I have been very comfortable on it.

The first feature that I love is that it is an open source tool, that is, it allows me to use it freely, without the need to acquire any license, in addition to that it generates a huge community that if in fact the technical support does not It is the best, it is very unlikely to need it because the community so large it has is able to clarify any questions we have. I really like that it is a tool that synthesizes the budget for the development and execution of some web application, and that in addition to that it does not need neither high performance hardware nor software to work with it, it is a very intuitive tool and in my opinion Easy to use, with an easy syntax and interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The real disadvantage that it has is that being open source is very difficult to obtain certified and proven documentation, but it really stops being an inconvenience when you have such a large community and with so many forums where you can clarify doubts and solve any problem we have had in the management of our database.

It is the database manager par excellence in my opinion, it is the first option I have at hand when developing a web application or internal system where it is necessary to handle large amounts of data since the certainty that generates this tool regarding security and execution is without equal.

I think it is a great option and that the truth is well above options that are paid and quite expensive where you basically pay for advice, but the truth is that in a tool like MySql that is not necessary, with so many years backing your integrity in the market and so many customers making use of solutions that implement this database manager.

MySQL can be deployed on different system environments i.e on cloud, web, mac operating system, windows operating systems and even Linux.
It is very easy to set up and also to use.
It can be also manipulated via command line or and graphical interface which make is easy to create and manipulate databases.
It also comes with tone of features my favorite of them all being access control and management, backup,recovery and data replication and migration.

To work with MySQL one requires to have a strong grasp to writing the various queries which may take more time to grasp.
It requires query optimizations in the cases when you dealing with a large set of data otherwise it results to longer time when retrieving data in such scenario.

Being a very easy to use and set up tool, and the fact that that it can be deployed over a number of different environments with it our company has created a number of databases for different systems.

What do you like best about the product?
Quality of maintaining the database, as well as query execution, very optimizes and easy to learn. Language of writing query is very easy so that everyone can easily learn it. Scheman maintainance is also very easy. so you can store large amount of data with a very helpful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is not that attractive as well as need to add another feature added in dbiewer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can easily make application interact with the database as MySQL can easily interact with java or other languages.
