Ease of use and setup
What do you like best about the product?
It took me 30 min to set up once my server was ready, connecting to my 3rd party app was straight forward. setting up Secure sql was easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting secure to 3rd party apps need a lot of work setting up ssl.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting DB to store my 3rd party apps information and entity names, ids.

MySQL is the best storage capacity software.
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is an efficient software because we can easily create and customize databases, tables, routines, procedures will all make the workflow super easy to manage our data in a more efficient way. The first benefit that this software provides us is that we can easily store large amount of the databases records without any issues. Hence it is the best and excellent storage capacity. It is one of the easiest and fastest database systems which can we use easily. That said there is a huge community of users and it is normally very easy to use in a more efficient way. MySQL is an open source software that allow to anyone to use it and modify it. Moreover, it supports several operative systems and it is very easy to install and figure. It is a very good quality software that provide management and development workspace functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The first problem that we faced is that it is a large learning curve and it take a lot of time for user to get a hang of it. The MySQL manage the large amount of the stored procedure, functions, views, tables with number of columns but it does not handle with the efficient manner. Sometimes, the transaction with large of data cannot done with the good manner. Hence it is the best database manager software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through this efficient software I can easily create and customize databases, routines, procedure will make the workflow super easy to manage our data in a more efficient way. Moreover, I can easily store large amount of databases records without any issues. It is a very good quality software that provide the management and development workspace functions. But still it is the best storage capacity software.

What do you like best about the product?
it's really great that you can run multiple queries quickly at the same time. I like it because it is an open source database and it can perform quick queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
overall I am quite satisfied. but it's hard to work with xml and some arrays.

There are many GUI applications that make it easy to work with MySQL. so it is very easy to use. It also allows you to quickly query from thousands of data.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL software is very easy to use, and installation is also very easy. The best advantage that this software provides us is that it has the great ability to store the binary data and provide the greater support for the advance stored procedure. We use MySQL as our database for all our products. Hence it is the best database software. The best thing with MySQL is it’s free for use and we can use the database system with our open source project, and we can also pay nothing. Also, it is the good software a handling a lot of data. Hence you can also build lots of good projects with its.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you faced the serious problems such as the best nag free and the open source comes with problems. But otherwise we can use this database system with our open source projects. Another problem that we faced is that installation time may take longer and sometimes it hangs up without any reason. Some features should be more enhanced such as the data interface can be more interactive. But to conclude that it can connect multiple people and it run faster in a different tab in a more efficient way.

It has open source RDBMS, We can create and customize database, tables and routines. Worked perfect on linux and Unix servers as well.

Some built-in functions to MySQL actually slow down queries in database.

What do you like best about the product?
Mysql has helped me to establish the speed, the confidence at the time of processing the data in optimal times, it is easy to install on any Windows Linux platform. It is an open source, has enough documentation and tutorials in the cloud to adapt or resolve any failure that has occurred. Its speed and search of information are very efficient, the repairs in the tables are very effective and the searches are snapshots of several tables as one. mysql is very efficient to avoid redundancy of information
What do you dislike about the product?
the readings of the keys are usually slow, when you read a key, the MERGE storage engine needs to read in all the fundamental tables to validate. update restrictions, when requesting the update of a row of a view should be translated into an update request to the view source table, this applied in very large views can cause problems and prevent updates from being made and could cause inconsistencies when displaying the information consulted.for the development and maintenance of stored procedures needs experts to be able to perform them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that has been requested has been to design and implement a relational entity model that allows the storage of cdr data from mobile telephone exchanges and the benefit obtained has been very positive, since it has allowed to optimize the control of the cdr and expand the analysis of call volume at a specific time in the cdr

We have not encountered any issues with MySQL. We have greatly benefited from the use the DB engine on most of our internal applications.

Even though MySQL is an easy to use DB engine, the user interface can use some improvements. Make it somewhat easy to use for non-technical users.
Nice but not the most advanced features
What do you like best about the product?
Dynamic database with basic latest tech feature, Efficient Analysis for limited data.good for automation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to learn, very less friendly for new drag and drop No-SQL type users.

Storing large amounts of Customer and employee data proving great DW experience to Data science and dashboard groups.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Mysql is that as a programmer there is a language like PHP and its frameworks, which includes in its connection and insertion, modification and elimination of registration commands specially integrated with Mysql, which facilitates the code by developing a routine in against the database. Other things that I like can be installed on personal computers, laptops with hardware resources for personal activities and in any operating system. In other words, Mysql is a portable database administrator. Since you can install it and take it to your home, office. That would be difficult for oarcle, Microsoft Sql Server. With regard to installation, it is fast and simple, even Linux is installed in a simple way, although Linux is famous for the dependency problem that always arises when installing an application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is a software of free License, which can be used by the number of person that is, in the institute without any cost. Mysql was recently acquired by ORACLE, a proprietary software company, which creates uncertainty since in the future it could be proprietary software. Other things that I dislike, is that as the volume of data in your tables grows, your processing speed begins to decrease in response when a service is requested. Another aspect that does not like anything is that its interface is through the operating system console and is quite uncomfortable to work with.

Previously, when a system development analyst needed to perform a database task in Microsoft Sql Server which was installed in the company's servers, the programmer had to go to the work site on those days. With Mysql you can install the software can be installed on a personal computer or laptop, with all the elements and service of the database, and now that programmer can work from the comfort of your home. Another aspect was that Microsoft Sql Server was very expensive to acquire, and the licenses were tied to a user amount. Mysql is free of charge and all workers can use it without generating any expense to the organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend mysql for those small companies whose information systems development is not on a large scale. Another consideration for its recommendation is for those companies where they have a technological deficiency associated with the hardware, because it is also recommended from the financial point of view, since having a license without cost, substantially reduces development costs and can be installed as much in Linux as in Windows. I consume resources from the computers of this database administrator.
