What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is still one of the largest databases out there and supported by many. It is easy to work with and produces decent and quick responses in conjunction with the Spring Framework and Maven.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't care for the new way of securing your account that may give you trouble when hashing passwords or something similar making it hard to log in with regular characters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am keeping track of many, many hospital patients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend using much stronger passwords and never root and password. Everyone knows that and yet still so many companies get hacked all the top.

It has very good performance since it performs operations at a very good speed.
Its software is Open Source, easy to install and configure, it is also low in requirements for the elaboration of databases because it can be used in machines with low resources.

It is a very good database manager, I would only like to find more documentation on some features.

I am currently developing web software, and I am using this administrator since it is the one that best suits my needs and also offers other functions that other administrators do not offer.

MySQL is very useful for managing data of a project easily. It provides various SQL queries to manage database tables.

It is not much useful for very large data.

I uses MySQL for managing database easily and efficiently using SQL queries.

What do you like best about the product?
Versatility. MySQL not only offers an easy-to use platform to view / modify / update databases, but offers seamless integration with Microsoft programs, such as Excel. To be able to export and manipulate data for presentation.

Every now and than the database has trouble logging in with SSH rather than connecting to an IP directly.

It allows for an easy to access database for client information. It solved the issue of syncing data between multiple employees and platforms.

Internal maximum key length is 3500 bytes but MySQL restricts to 1024 bytes

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL this database manager I use in web development, and allows me to develop and design, and make changes to sites in a simple way, just by changing a file, avoiding having to modify all the web code. This is due and is one of the things that I like is that MySQL, works with a centralized data management system, which allows to make changes in a single file and that runs in the entire data structure that is shared in the network . Also, it allows me to quickly include news and information on a website, using a simple form, without having to touch the website code.
What do you dislike about the product?
MySQL has many limitations in the processing of searches, if you want to use it for corporate environments, it does not work due to its low stability, if it is going to be used for school projects or small business bases that do not require high availability, you can use it. If you want a more robust database, for larger environments, although a little more complicated you can use MYSQL is free if it is for internal or personal systems and with a small payment so you can distribute it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the great benefits that MySQL offers me is that it helps me store all the information I want in relational databases, as well as to manage all this data with hardly any complications thanks to its visual interface and all the options and tools of the that has. It is essential, especially on websites that have the option to register users to log in. For my company, using this tool is vital because of the facilities it offers and the profits it has. it has a list of clients, a catalog of products or even a large selection of multimedia content available, MySQL helps me manage everything properly and orderly. and it is very important and is essential for the proper functioning of a website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
my MySQL recommendation is that thanks to its architecture is less elaborate but it is efficient, easy and fast for some web projects, the internal functioning of the bases can vary a lot, this is why it is more used and that is why my recommendation is that if know how to order or keep organized workers information is that this is the best way to do it using this database. And in this way you can keep everything easier and with a search help to sort all the information you want.

The fact that it is simple and open-source makes it a very good database to use. Also, the queries that one can execute in MySQL are common and can be used easily if someone is coming from using a different database.
