What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot I can praise MySQL on. I have been using the software for over 3 years now and can certainly attest that it is the best software in its category. The software is quick to install and easy to use. Even more, with features to work on both web development and web design projects, it becomes easy to work on each project step by step.
Another great thing about the software is the availability of a large online community where I find lots of solutions on specific problems with my development and design projects.
Not forgetting that the software is relatively inexpensive relative to available alternatives.

What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I am completely satisfied with MySQL. I have no negative critic of the software. However, it is not possible to work on multiple database at a go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MySQL has come in handy in our web development and design projects. Even more, we have been able to have an improved approach to database management. Most importantly, the interactive User Interface has positively influenced how we store, access and ,manage our database.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend MySQL for efficient database management. The software is easy to use and relatively inexpensive. Moreover, their large online community comes a long way with solving your projects.
Free open source database for your application
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is one of the best choice for the applications. It is free to download and it is very easy to use and manage. Firstly you need to download the MySQL installer and it have really good descriptive steps which explains what you should do in order to install the features. You can choose which features you need and just install them. The installer works very well and it also installs all the needed stuff for your machine and then you are done. You have your database running and connect it to your application and use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The workbench that application has is a bit lagging and it is resource taker and MySQL has some security restrictions where you cannot access the database from remotely. In this case I have use another third party application to manage my DB but it is not the best choice because the external tool most of the time do not have all the features for the database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using MySQL for my own and university projects, the reason is that it is free to use and the management of the application is very easy, I can install it very fast and use it very easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For using MySQL it is better to use the external database management tool such as DataGrip, which is really efficient to use. However, if you want some advanced features it is better to use the application workbench which is a bit resource taker from your machine.

MySQL is easily installed other then databases. You can simply install MySQL in your pc. MySQL automatically configured them self.

In MySQL you can't rollback after database was remove mistake. At that time you create a new database.

My all the system is work on the MySQL because MySQL syntax is easily to understand.

MySQL is the database manager used in the organization for the administration of all its databases.

Some built-in functions to MySQL slow down queries. For example using the DATE() function on a date time column ignore any index in that column.

MySQL is the best relational database management system. It support all types of basic and enterprise level needs of storing relational data and creation of reports.

I highly recommend it to create database on a small Scale. I recommend MySQL to all developer for their web application.It's too easy to install.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the database management system par excellence, in which they are composed of infinities of pages and systems that we know in the world of programming. Among the most interesting that Mysql has, is Open Source, is say, to you can to have this and use it for you is available. As I said before, it is a relational database system, which archives data in tables with its fields and attributes of greater speed and flexibility; and the data relationship of different tables, also handles large volumes of data. It is easy to install and does not require great requirements for it, it also has excellent user access control and data security.
What do you dislike about the product?
The great disadvantage from my point of view that Mysql has had is the lack of documentation, for which there are certain limitations in terms of the use of several of its functionalities, as well as the lack of a book of errors about its deficiencies

Among the tasks that I have to do with Mysql, was to manage the database of different systems created in the Government, as well as the different web pages that I could design, I made them under this database manager in conjunction with the programming language Php

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is one of the stable database solution in the market we use mySQL mainly store our internal systems data and the our web application main database it is so easy to use and enterprise versions are in affordable price range we use enterprise version and if anyone cannot afford the cost you can use the community versions instead of paid versions.

Some times there will be little performance degrease of the database don't know whether it is a internal issue or problem of the database version.

we use MySQl database as our main internal systems database and we use MySQL database for our organization web site database for the storing form datas.

MySQL is a affordable database solution from the other expensive products in the market very reasonable price range and overall performance is great and if you bare the cost you can choose community versions as well for free of use.

I like and enjoy MySql because it is a platform where I feel very calm and secure about storing my data without worrying that it might be stolen, as it offers great security for all companies that store and constantly analyze data. That is why this platform is user-friendly.

What I often dislike is that the connection is lost due to some update or particular case, but otherwise I like the application.
