LocalHost MySQL
What do you like best about the product?
This database allow you to keep a control of your database by downloading xampp or lampp, with these two software you can create your own local database before migrating to online server.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitation such as security features that you have to configurate to do some purpose

I've done some work with the mysql database, I had a lot of success in using some projects and it was magnificent all its possibilities, ease of installation, configuration, speed of the bank perfomance in most of the time, for being a free bank, Has code open source, can be totally modified, has important functions that help during the development process and this is great
What do you dislike about the product?
after O MySQL virtually ceased to receive attention after it was acquired by Oracle, that is no longer important, I am currently using another bank.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I worked on some projects of creation of websites, and stores of commerce with the database mysql, and I had great final results, that I leave my system fast, I practice, today I no longer work with him more in the projects of installed all worked well
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After some time I migrated from working with mysql, to another bank like mongoDb and mariaDb, but I still believe that mysql has a lot of potential and if there is a project to create, I will be able to use it again someday. some more basic projects.

MySQL has been around since long time and has proved its capabilities on multiple occasions within our company

The overall experience of using my sql is good but how will it perform once the data size reaches billion rows is yet to be seen

Database management
An excellent tool to building a database.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use is the by far the best part of this entire program. Even if you have never built a database before this has a simple but, beautifully craft GUI that makes it easy to understand exactly what it is you are doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have had with this program is that it can freeze at times and crash unexpectedly so I would make sure that you are saving often so that you do not risk the possibility of losing important data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this for many different things, I have built a database to take care of issues that happen across any given week. Currently I have one for when certain type of mistakes are made they can be filled out on a form and thrown into the database in different groups and this helps us better understand what kind of training is going to be necessary ongoing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For this product I can't recommend it enough. It is such an incredible product with a very easy to user interface for anyone, even those who are not as experienced with the use of a database. Have you used Access at a job in the past? I would go as far as saying that MySql is an easier to use program that Access is and the GUI is much more user friendly than Access manages to be. Are you starting your own business? Use this product! You can easily keep track of inventory and customer orders all in the same place!

Their integration with the PHPMYADMIN I like this feature a lot.

There is nothing to dislike after using this software, they have great usability and service.

mysql is a great tool to work with i have very good experience with the MySQL.
Good open source database
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly easy client tool for easy management of multiple databases. Can backup and restore database by writing simple short scripts

Scaling performance according to the volume/load is not always happening

Writing queries to extract data for ad-hoc reports. It is good database for organisation and analysis of data for small to medium sized databases
Okay Product
What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is definitely better than Access, but not the best product out there. It is an excellent tool for training new users to SQL coding and overall, how to use databases. It does get the job done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very slow tool. I have encountered numerous bugs with this tool, and thus did not use it for very long. Would not really recommend this tool unless you're training new users/employees with it, but there are better tools on the market that can do that anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training new users for SQL coding in databases. Benefits are minimal at best. It has a plethora of tutorials and communities online that make it great to use for anyone new to SQL.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for another tool, any other tool other than Microsoft Access. This tool is not all that great.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL clustering allows 3+ nodes with no quorum requirements it’s easy to configure with agility on the data sets that is stored. It works in virtual and physical platform
What do you dislike about the product?
It has licensing requirements for clustering which is a bummer. Also the need of MySQL config on the source is quite painful and somewhat cumbersome
