Free and easy tool to manage database
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this tool in my organization and it is the simple and easy tool to manage our relational databases. Also the text searching is very easy in MySQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used this tool very frequently and found that there are no discrepancies in using this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used this tool in my project work and it is a very stable tool and it is easy to manage our databases and backups.

I would recommend to use this tool as it provides us a easiest way to manage and save our databases. It is very easy to setup and use. The syntax are not too much complex.

What do you like best about the product?
MySQL is very effective, easily manageable, reliable, secure and compatible with many platforms. Easy to learn for beginners. It supports all the popular languages such as Ruby, PHP, AJAX. It is very flexible and scalable as you can configure your back end with additional features.
What do you dislike about the product?
User defined functions and stored procedures are little difficult to handle in MySQL. It has poor documentation. Creating PL/SQL procedures is not as easy as it is in other systems. It doesn't work efficiently for large database.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Database management, data analysis, client-server functionalities, data archiving
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Mongo for NoSQL applications and MySQL for organized, hierarchial databases.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of writing queries and understanding complex ones. It is easy to learn and master.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can get stuck for large data and some queries can take a long time to execute

Go for it. It is one of the best available tools in market and has a very low maintenance. You don't have to worry about anything after installation and set up.

Mysql is ideal to learn sql language, to start programming, since it is included in most packages with apache and php, it is very easy to install and it is also intuitive

From my point of view, I think it's slow and basic, maybe I have not exploited it as much as other languages

Currently we have mysql databases, which do not require major maintenance, it is not the most common here

I have obtained a lot of satisfaction using Mysql, as well as professional or corporate use, using Mysql in web applications made to measure, powerful websites and traffic.

It is extremely flexible and there is a lot of support in its large online community. is excellent for large or small websites you can quickly find compatible hosting, it is one of the most used database

Its an open source dbms, so its free. Usage of variables in normal query helps. Lot of storage and partitioning is handled automatically, so its easier for the users
What do you dislike about the product?
Has some bugs like, a aggregate function will return result even without a group by. It doesnt throw an error bur returns wrong result, so user has to be careful

Data extraction and maintenance from transation data. It reads file data quite nicely, so jobs can be scheduled without manual intervention
