Great logging tool
What do you like best about the product?
Filtering options and the possibility to aggregate different logging sources
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX was a bit not clear to me at first. I got used to it, though...
Also, we've wanted to create an automatic daily report that groups the distinct errors that occurred every day and emails it - it wasn't supported in our version (I think it was possible for paid accounts but the price was too high for a small startup like ours...).

Tracking ERRORs, grouping logs from different servers into one place
Among the best production and pre production monitoring and logging tools i use
What do you like best about the product?
Can help with detect and analysis flow issues in production and pre-production environment. The flow data is made accessible, easy to understand the flow and solve raised issues easily.
The search is as easy as a google search to check issues with a specific flow in the code across multiple servers or as specific as a single class. And you can use the search filter to setup alerts to detect anomalies in production in realtime.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes search behavior is not what it expected. for example search for a string auto triggers a search before adding additional filters to capture the relevant data. Also would like exception stack trace to highlight the specific project code the locate it faster.
The service as pay per quote for logz, sometime the quote fills up and there is not indication other than lack of logz, a switch over choice in case of a quote fill would be great.

Easy to integrate with Slack, mail and other APIs. Search function is fast, takes a few seconds at worst.
you can visualize in graph logging behavior, to further optimize logging code, detect unusual behavior, analyze performance and metrics.

A vital tool we use only a daily basis for log analysis
What do you like best about the product?
From a support perspective we use Logz.io on a daily basis for Logs Analysis
It's vital for us to be able to see the full picture across production on any potential production issues we may have. We make really good use of Dashboards to ensure we can troubleshoot any specific issues.
The Alerts feature is great and allows us to quickly act on any potential issues before they may become a bigger problem.
The search is pretty straightforward once you get use to the syntax.
Logz.io CHAT - If there's any issues just click the CHAT button within the tool and very quickly the support team will respond and be very helpful.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of their on-boarding call. We took a long time to use it and it is very useful. They will even help write log parsers for you! For free!
Excellent tool for production monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great thing that the information we need to look for is so easily filterable, and formatable depending upon the clients that we are looking for, for education management purposes. I also love that you can actually have a group conversation by just linking it with your slack account. The analytics tools are very accurate and provide great flexibility to manage and arrange your statistics, and give you regular alerts, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two things that I dislike about this: 1) if you receive a lot of messages, or are dealing with a lot of queries, the interface may become extremely slow. 2) There is only a limited number of subaccounts your institute can have, and for us that is just not enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it to monitor the sales and get insights on the data of the marketing of our study materials for students It is great for third party integration, and is very helpful in analyzing the metrics.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are someone who's looking for a great analytics tool, then I would recommend giving this a shot.
Great UI

Logz.io has a very intuitive user interface. I love the pattern matching in the Live Tail tab, and the search feature in the Kibana tab.
What do you dislike about the product?
I poked around to try and find something I didn't like, but couldn't find anything. I have a relatively simple workflow, so it may be a worse experience for a power user, but I can only speculate about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At Auvik, we were spending a lot of time keeping our ELK server up and running, and logz.io let us put that time to better use focusing on our product.

Getting set up was easy and fast. The platform is fast, and I've never experienced any downtime. Saved searches and dashboards.

The only issue we ran into was that some message were dropped due to excessive length. This was resolved on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidated logging from multiple applications.
Sophisticated and Easy-to-Use

I like their UI and the platform overall is really easy to use. For instance, you can quickly figure out how to set up dashboards and alerts etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really but I wish to see more data visualization alternatives, different type of charts etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to analyze logs. For instance, to see the volume and different attributions of calls. I like that it's flexible in terms of the amount and the combination of attributions you can select.
