Alteon: Load Balancing at it's best.
What do you like best about the product?
Its GUI is quite simple and easy to navigate. It is easy to manage and stores SSL certificates to manage SSL requests. It provides Server Load Balancing as well as Link load balanicng.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, but the NAT setting is quite complicated when WAN multiple links are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to Manage and Provide us to manage clients' requests. It takes the SSL offloading headache to itself, so the Application servers do not access loads and serve customers more efficiently.

We have complete OPTUS and it's associated domains configuration held through alteon .

ADC security platform efficiency with waf functionalities over virtualization environment
What do you like best about the product?
Be able to quickly use the ADC Alteon platform and start enabling balancing and security schemes. It only takes a few minutes and the platform is fully operational
What do you dislike about the product?
When enabling the platform, the MAC address is created randomly without taking into account the MAC address that the vmware platform itself generates
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enable balancing schemes and offer availability to the servers of the same virtualization platform, since protecting virtual servers forces the traffic to be diverted to another communications platform, in the Alteon platform this is applied on the same virtualization and additionally the security protection scheme.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to enable a quick solution and especially in virtualization environments, it is the most recommended solution for ease of integration.

What do you like best about the product?
it is easy to use. We could paste configs into command line interface. Friendly user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the proxy ip and real server ip are not in the same segment. Add a route is required. There are several default gateways on one device which confused me a lot. Secondly, when I set virtual service, I left real server port blank. As a result, it will override the the port of real server, which confused me.

Good SLB product better than APP DIRECTOR.
