Great way to centralize your compliance program
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about the system is that I can store all of my compliance-related documents and requirements in a centralized location. Before Apptega, we were using various spreadsheets and SharePoint sites to manage our compliance program and it was hard to keep track of everything cross-functionally.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not a lot of downsides, but the only thing that comes to mind is having to commit to actively managing the scoring. This is not even really an Apptega issue, it just comes with my team being small and having limited resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Apptega is helping us solve all aspects of managing our compliance program from operational license requirements to our IT compliance, it is helping us tackle it all!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would absolutely recommend Apptega for anyone looking to elevate their compliance program from a static source to something that can be used to actively track and manage your compliance. The team is also just a wonderful group of people that care about their customers and their success with the tool. They have always made me feel that the customer experience was an absolute top priority.
Wonderful GRC Tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use - it works best for a mid-market company that requires GRC capability but doesn't need all the bells and whistles associated with some of the large GRC tools out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting had been a little weak but I understand they are completely revamping things now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've moved out of managing the information security program by spreadsheet and we can now scale audits, assessments, and compliance across the organization.
Compliance made easier
What do you like best about the product?
Apptega provides all of the research, documentation, and correlation in one place, meaning spreadsheets we had to use in the past are no longer necessary. Reporting is simplified and robust and includes simple to use compliance audit reports we can provide to 3rd parties without any manipulation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of managing tasks;
Providing a simple and graphical way to detail what tasks are most important to complete first

Apptega simplifies managing compliance to for one to many frameworks simultaneously
The harmonization methodology of combining multiple frameworks into one dashboard is extremely helpful and provides the ability to reduce time spent on duplication of tasks applicable to multiple frameworks
