Good product for manageability

The kind of automation that it provides is really good, the feature of deep drive into a specific issue makes it a good product

Cloud Big Data administration to reduce customer care involvement.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Grab AppDynamics when/if you need to see your code in visually. There is no other product on this planet when it comes to Visualisation.
Have a thorough plan at large.
Make sure AppD is in the road map, for the next +5years.

Best Application Monitoring Tool
What do you like best about the product?
AppD drill down each method where it call, show CPU usage, diskspace, logs, time duration of each call. Every thing which application team needs to monitor.
What do you dislike about the product?
little bit delay of 2-3 sec but it wont bother much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking for high CPU usage and time duration of SQL call. This will help us to debug product issue and the SQL query which was taking time to process.

Scalability issues for large EUM customers on premises - but the tool is still useful
What do you like best about the product?
While the APM component is very mature, the EUM tool adds a critical aspect that we have really been missing - the visibility into network errors, app crashes, and other client side issues, which provide a much more compelling story during incident triage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The OnPrem EUM product has had a lot of scalability issues handling our large customer base. Features for the OnPrem version lag far behind the SAS offering when compared to other OnPrem vendors. Responsiveness and effectiveness of the support resources for the EUM product have been inconsistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
EUM allows us to detect network problems, which in the past, we could only infer. This has been extremely helpful when compelling vendors to address connectivity issues in their networks. Similarly - EUM paints a much clearer picture of the impact to clients from server-side performance issues, many of which seem minor to app developers, but may cause seconds of delay for customers. Visibility is the most critical aspect for solving any problem.

the overall view that is either by service or specific to a node for example
What do you dislike about the product?
there can be a lot of info to check at once and many clicks needed to be in a more specific view
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
performance testing in our pre-production environment, just a great monitoring tool and easy to show to other partners for test results

What do you like best about the product?
AppD is great when it needs to monitor some critical application which requires proper attention throughout the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now everything seems fine and will definitely update if any issue observed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AppD is used by us to monitor our application's performance and health whole day and if any alert occurred or not.

Should at least give it a try.....it's great...!

AppDynamics - Nice to have APM
What do you like best about the product?
It give us more free hands for configuration. Integration with other tool/software. Support of AppD is very quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
All manual setup and nothing automated. Sometimes documentation not give accurate information specially on extension which not updated on timely manner. Support team always work through chat which sometimes leads to miscommunication. It would be better if available through chat like Dynatrace. There is 200 Business Transactions limit per application which is critical for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We using Dynatrace APM tool and going to replace with AppDynamics. Main difference is more plugins availability and support team is solid.
