Sisense: Make Sure To Completely Spec Out Your Data Before Getting Off-Boarded
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of being able to create various cubes to integrate into your Elasticube.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support: They assume that everything is complete without further verifying if your issue is really resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Live data feeds. Being able to call upon our database immediately.

It's simple to play with the data, create different visuals and change options

Getting the data in is very hard. I can't just upload from my access database- it's a whole process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to create a report that my clients can use and interact with. I'm midway through the project but I foresee more client engagement.

The team is really hands on and helpful and they are invested in our success. The software is easy to use and looks modern.

Complicated security requirements for our data have made it difficult to upgrade to newer versions.

Many BI tools let you customize the look of dashboards, but Sisense goes above the rest

The skillset needed to both design dashboards and interact with them seems higher than other BI tools

What do you like best about the product?
Building dashboards is very easy. The simplicity of SQL and building metrics is ideal for non-technical teammembers.

The visuals could be upgraded and I'd like to be able to resize widgets across multiple rows.

We are converting video to data and being able to demonstrate key business performance metrics effectively for our clients through dashboards

Query performance, data import capabilities, user friendliness, cube as concept and in-chip technology.

Limited out of the box visualization capabilities, half baked alerting and advanced analysis features.

If you are looking for a robust tool that simplify data ingestion and produce drag & drop analytics reporting, I highly recommend.

Amazing Customer Support. With Custom SQL and Custom Table, it's really easy to design a Data model in Elastic Cubes according to the business requirements. Customizable Javascript enables users to add more features to the visualization. REST APIs for all actions and data points. Solid data security Layer

Exporting dashboard to PDFs. Multi-node Linux deployment is not matured enough.

We are using SIsense to provide quick, reliable, and interactive dashboards for our Customers to make informed decisions.

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is one of the strongest players in BI space with a solid data layer in elasticube and cool visualisations. The elasticube layer is something that most of the BI tools does not have and a unique differentiator for Sisense. The visualisation suite is very cool and plugins adds more options to it. The REST APIs layer enables the developers to automate items avoiding manual intervention and JS APIs helps in the embedding side of things. The security aspect of Sisense is exceptional - the ability to add rules at a data and dashboard level gives enough grip and solidity. The support system is also commendable. The tools like narratives and pulse are just out of the box features with Sisense which help us in deriving valuable insights and alerting systems respectively. Having High Availability model in BI tools is a boon to have and this is available in Sisense.
Overall, Sisense is a perfect BI solution with an extensive set of features to help understand the data and make necessary decisions.

What do you dislike about the product?
No major items to dislike but few things can be improved to what we have now to enable more better experience.
1. Linux Model in HA needs more focus in terms of hardware, setup and installation.
2. Documentation can be more precise and can provide more clarity with in-depth details
