Smooth and beautiful
What do you like best about the product?
user friendly widget building, elasticube's intuitiveness and flexibility
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support for a ticket takes a long time, cannot connect python scripts, cannot use math functions on datetime fields
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking company KPIs, mapping locations, makes data a lot more transparent to end users

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to grasp how to visualise the data and drill down to explore it. Dashboards are very intuitive to use, even for the non data savvy stakeholders. Access through mobile and the set-up of alerts makes it even easier to monitor performance.In addition, the level of support and service is outstanding: the Sisense team always helps us to find solutions when we are faced with a technical or a commercial challenge.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Sisense. I would say that being able to create and maintained derived fields (e.g. segments) and easily integrate with other marketing tech. solutions could add some value and facilitate audience management on the back of data exploration in Sisense. It would help the marketing/sales team to close the loop: from data exploration, through actionable insight to marketing action. I am also looking forward to the outcome of the Periscope merger and see if it enrich the analytics capabilities of the Sisense platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Things we solve: access and visualisation of our data, 24/7 performance management, differentiation of KPIs depending on stakeholders (CEO, vs CFO, vs Marketing performance teams, vs. Account management teams, vs. Clients), data exploration for analytics.
Benefits: development of insight capabilities leading to more data based decision making, better performance management (more timely and more accurate) enabling business performance improvements and day-to-day business operations.

not a technical person and so its difficult to troubleshoot the errors which occur frequently

we use it for data reporting, putting together board packages and other material for executive team

The tool is good but you need to right individuals to help develop it. We switched from one tool to another by replicating what we had and unfortunately didn't have the level of technical expertise to build out something bigger/better.
Very Useful Product
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to customize reports, widgets, charts, etc. in real-time (and in an easily consumable format), then immediately share with my peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reports can sometimes take a while to load, and the data is not always as current as we'd like. However, this is very specific to our company (and data) since we monitor ad serving and delivery continually throughout the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense allows more members of our team to easily access relevant data. Non technical users are able to pull reports much more rapidly. It also helps by displaying stats and metrics via various charts, graphs, etc. that can be easily digested (without the need to comb through spreadsheets).
Sisense, solid "dashboard" style tool
What do you like best about the product?
Probably the drill down and filtering capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to make copies of of dashboards in order to alter layouts and create new or added functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sisense has allowed us to "can" valuable reporting, so users can access the information directly rather than waiting for me to develop a report. Allows me to jump into the analysis sooner because I do not need to spend as much time creating reports.

I like how quick it can be. Good visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Publishing dashboards to PDF leaves ALOT to be desired. It just doesn't seem to auto-adjust to a regular 8.5x11 type of format and the tabber plugin looks AWEFUL when exported in a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster extraction of data. Easier usage of filters.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a data warehouse set up initially. Have someone internally who is proficient in SQL on hand to do the setup. This will help bridge business rules with tech needs.
Best BI & Basic ETL Tool for our Diverse Data Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to connect and do basic table combination and manipulation. End-user interface is easy to learn and helped us drive quick adoption. Great resources for learning and good support teams that work diligently to answer questions and solve issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say something is truly a 'dislike', but there are a couple of features that I hope they roll out soon - 1. adjustable time axes (ex. end-user can toggle between week, month, quarter, and year granularity). 2. ability to automate the sending of csv's directly to end users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of things have been quickly solved with Sisense. Ease of use driving frequency of use was a big push for us. We have now received feedback from our execs that they used our old system 1/month and now they don't go a day without being in Sisense to keep tabs on their departments. They feel better in tune with what is going on. We also really wanted to get past long build and update times and our speed to deployment and edit went from hours to minutes. Being able to edit live on a call and instantly show a business user the new results has been incredible.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use & easy calculations with little or no training. Nice & easy interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little easier way of doing advanced analytics would have been great.

Large amounts of data churned very quickly.

Sisense provides a complete functionality - extraction of source data, building of data models using GUI, reporting and also AI/ML functionalities
What do you dislike about the product?
The incremental data logic could be refined to truly extract incremental data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting for Sales. Operations & Leadership team. What used to take weeks in excel is now being done in hours in Sisense.

Sisense is a great starter product as it encompasses all the features in one. Good for a small growing company.
