One Analytics solution for all BUs
What do you like best about the product?
combined data from all the business functions. easy data extraction & modeling, customizable dashboard, easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cube Management is getting lagged, needs more language supported. Needs better visualization & reporting features.

What do you like best about the product?
We use both PowerBI and Sisense. The Sisense provides much easier access and integration with our web based applications and portals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Financial reporting is not a Sisense strong point, we are forced to use reporting from our ERP to inform our investors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fighting opacity of critical operations and ability to forecast. We are using Sisense to gather data from multiple and disparate sources to open windows into our operations and functions that have led to meaningful improvements in how we treat our customers, team members and investors.

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense allows us to run reports with years worth of data in seconds. Running these reports in Sisense rather than our own system frees up bandwidth in our house system allowing it to run smoothly rather than get bogged down. I love how the sidebars are arranged and how organized the reports are. Filters can be turned on or off in a single click and the reports are updated instantly. Data that you don't want to include can be filtered out or included back in very easily. I frequently utilize the "drilldown" feature which allows you to get even more granular with the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the data updated constantly in real-time rather than in batch updates. The software did take some time to get used to, but after a few months of use it got easier. I still find new features and filters,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense to analyze vendor performance across different campuses by program of interest, geography, level of education, age and other demographics. The major benefits are the speed in which the reports are processed along with having the custom reports readily available at your fingertips.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sisense is great tool for quick and convenient reporting and its ability to slice and dice large amounts of data at a high rate of speed. We have different reports set up for different clients and can switch reports from one client to another in the click of a button.

Provides an attractive, well-developed analytics solution extending our existing product and meeting customer demand.
Data Organization
What do you like best about the product?
The ease that I can pull up reports and view different reports looking at large data sets. The system helps me save a lot of time, especially when pulling together client presentations. Multiple users can pull from the same clean data set and view reports that are relevant to their accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system fails to load all of the data on time and we have incomplete data to work off of for the morning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Student time to maturation and lead flow; pulling up lead flow and enrollment by program type to quickly analyze marketing efforts.

Review the time savings and analyze your efficiency
Effective additional layer of reporting that is customizable and available in real-time
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to add multiple field and pivot them in multiple ways, without using Excel and having a massive amount of data that slows down your computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not all reports are available for Excel download, and sometimes figuring out where to click to update filters is confusing. Also only administrative users can actually make changes to which fields to include / not include.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less manual input and pivoting in Excel. More time saved because I'm not downloading massive amounts of data because I'm pivoting - Sisense overlays our database and creates much more efficient output.
A very user-friendly experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Sisense is really easy to navigate. I'm able to sort through all of the needed reports and adjust as needed. All of the data is right there and I can sort to my liking.

I honestly don't dislike anything about it!

The only problems I've had is when Sisense hasn't updated for that day, so my data is not current.

The use of dashboards and cubes requires very little training. the dashboards is really fast after the process of building cubes. The API provided with sisense is enough complete et authorize most of actions that we need.
Sisense offers the possibility to customize the interface with custom colors, fonts and logos.

What do you dislike about the product?
the software isn't thinked to be used by a developper. the cubes and the dashboards can't be versionned for the moment(maybe in a closed future?), and the json file of the dashboards isn't explicite (really difficult to modify this directly with code).
some functions can be drived by api, but the synchronisation is not really complete. for the filters, we have many problems to override the filters in our interface when they are already available in the dashboards. the API request don't send a return state, so it is not possible to have a great synchronisation with an custom interface.

we can enable the creation of custom dashboards by the customers directly in our app, using the API provided by sisense. our application displays the dashboards and we connect to the api to control sisense remotely.

Support takes a little while to come through in some timezones.

We are trying to understand how customers are using our product and show them the ROI of our product. We have has a positive feedback from customers about the charts and dashboards we show them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a good play around before you commit, there is a large ramp up time to setup all the dashboards, queries and caches. A large but good investment.
