Best vendor I have ever worked with
What do you like best about the product?
Technology, functionality, versatility, ease of use/UX, quality of training, top notch consulting talent, customer service. We interviewed a dozen vendors and Sisense was the clear winner. We continue to be surprised and impressed by the platform. It's truly helping us grow!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have a very unique use case and would like to see a faster features roll out timeline, particularly exporting to PowerPoint. However, we are leverage Sisense in a non-traditional way and the system has been extremely flexible to meet our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data aggregation, analytics, summaries/recaps.
Powerfull but requires some techincal skills and has a steep learining curve for customizations.
What do you like best about the product?
Control over the data. Easy to set up and create new columns and relations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizing the visuals on certain widgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Displaying dashboards completely public.

The compromise by the delivery leaders to help reach the tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a chatbot to help resolve tickets a direct with the proper support. Most of the time I have to wait two or three days until I get a response and then arrange a call

It is impressive how easy and versatile is the platform for embedding analysis.
Quick and easy to make Visualizations on the desktop!
What do you like best about the product?
I can pull in multiple Elasticubes into one dashboard which has made my data management easier. Performance is not bad as of now. Looking forward to time when we have larger data sets!
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile App can improve lots of functionalities and plugins don't function well on the mobile app. Tabber or Text objects being the basic once.
Login into mobile app is really cumbersome, we need FaceID to login
Secondly we can split the screen horizontally and add two views in a row, but now we cannot further segregate a section of this row into two views vertically. Imagine something like this is not possible in Sisense

Lastly, what would be really helpful is more flexibility in scheduling data load schedule timings, right now we can only do it Daily and that to a certain time a day. We would like an option to select multiple refresh loads in a day which could as random as : 1 AM, 2AM. 9 AM, 2 PM, 5 PM every 1st 10th and 16th day of the month.

most of our internal stakeholders use this tool to make strategic decisions. Sales/Marketing/Finance/Distribution
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use, coding is not that tough and SQL friendly, Constant new features are coming in on a daily basis. We get great support from the custom support team whenever required to apply fixes and make changes to the existing product. Some of the open source plugins and javascripts help us edit charts and visualizations when necessary. Overall a great product and good customer service. Some of the upcoming features will define the trajectory of this tool over the next few years
Great BI solution to transform, consolidate and present all your data
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense gives the ability to connect to various data sources and transform based on the reporting requirement. Plenty of visualization options available and several options to customize anything. The drag and drop designing works excellent even for non-technical users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The elasticube's/data model's re-usability is limited. Depending on the requirements, you end up designing several data models for the same data to achieve a different view on the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue was to consolidate the data from all acquisitions and sister companies. It's very easy to connect to different types of data sources. The SQL functions available to develop data model are extensive and helps transform data. The web-based solution is extremely robust and requires little learning effort.

Sisense has come along way since it I first implemented it. And has only gotten better, as they listen to the end-users concerns and implement them.

Its a be quirky at times for reasons I dont understand. But that the nature of all software

We are solving big data collection and representation issues. They wait they can quickly and easily process data is quite an asset.

A little on the expensive side, but the quality of service/product is hard to beat

Sisense has allowed our business to create various reports/metrics for our internal users and to show data to our customers
People love what I'm doing but it's not without it's efforts.
What do you like best about the product?
I think the column data type conversions are neat.
What do you dislike about the product?
Off the top of my head. . . .the documentation is wide but very shallow. For all the magic and insights Sisense provides people still have infinite expectations - that's on our end. I also dislike the singular INNER join options without having to write a custom query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Inventory, shipping and order fulfillment inefficiencies. Analyzing our call center data in new ways as well financial tracking and replacing custom built reports.
Great product and above-and-beyond support
What do you like best about the product?
- We picked Sisense due to the ease of use (Single stack, intuitive UI) and that has proven to be as good as we hoped
- Support has been absolutely great. In addition to help-desk level support being knowledgeable and supportive, the customer representatives assigned to our account really do go out of their way to help us be more successful as an organization.
- Once we got the baseline hardware setup resourced appropriately, we have been able to add more load without degradation in performance

What do you dislike about the product?
- We have had our share of bugs to work through. If support wasn't so good, this would be more of an issue, but the great support usually means this is something we can work through.
- Some really exciting new features related to AI and other processing send data off the server. As a healthcare shop, we are unable to take advantage of some of these features so it would be helpful if those services could be covered by a BAA.
- There are some little things, like folder ownership, that seem minor but impact our workflows. I think Sisense has these on the roadmap and I have confidence they will get done eventually, but they are working on so many advanced features that I worry these little things will take some time.

- We have been able to leverage Sisense to improve outcomes for our healthcare customers in a number of areas: operations, financial, and clinical.
- We are able to securely operate with multiple tenants, giving each their own protected, secure space on the server but also make it easy for our analysts to support multiple customers

Recommendations to others considering the product:
- I don't know much about the new periscope integration, but previously Sisense didn't have a lot of ETL capabilities so we do that outside the system. Make sure you have that capability
- Be ready to spend some time with support. They are great, but you need to have that time set aside.

Ease of use, implementation and build process is fast. Support teams offer a good service.

Some of the documentation could be expanded.
