We have embed Sisense in our Application and been working fine.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface and how easy its to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the basic functionality such as reassigning a Folder to a different user. This is not compliant as when employees leave its virtually impossible to take ownership back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to show the user metrics based on the Business our customers have. One place to have Reports and Dashboards for users

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful data modelling process and wide variety of clean and interactive visualisations. The ability to embed fully interactive dashboards into existing sites and products is a distinguishing feature of Sisense from the alternatives.
The online documentation is extensive and easy to use. The technical support staff are incredibly responsive and helpful.
Sisense also provides an online forum for the community of Sisense users to discuss and ask questions. The community is very friendly and helpful, and posts will often be the top of any web search for any questions you might have while using Sisense.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are a wide variety of visualisation types built-in to Sisense, sometimes the data calls for something that the built-in visualisations can't do. That said, Sisense provides a large repository of 3rd party plugins where you can often find an existing solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense to provide analytical services to our customers, delivering the results as an interactive embedded dashboards that allow the customer to fully explore the results.

If you're looking for highly interactive and embeddable dashboards, Sisense is well ahead of its competitors in these areas.
Be sure you're comparing like for like when looking at available solutions. Sisense includes pretty much everything out of the box where some of the alternatives will require additional licensing and packages to get the same level functionality.

I would like to see ESRI Out of the box widget

Sisense BI gave the visibility for the whole department in customer service, revenues and expenses and how the individual programs were doing. Helped to discontinue the programs which were not utilized. Our Executive Team really likes the dashboards and the tool

Extensive data-modelling capabilities with Elasticube Manager

Dashboard widgets sometimes do not load, and connection between the ECM and dashboards is disconnected

We have a wide range of locations and activities. SiSense helped us coordinate all of that data into one place, have it updated in almost real-time and share that data with our team. This is the first time in our business that information has been reached as easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need at least one or more dedicated technical resources to help you implement the tool. Once your data is connected the design of new dashboards can be learned over time.

I have been using Sisense since 2016 and every time we compare it to other services we stay put.
The level of flexibility and ease of deployment makes Sisense both compelling to use and also cost-effective to operate.
Also, the level of support we get from the company goes beyond the normal levels you expect from a vendor. They have always gone the extra mile for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
While the dashboard UIX and graphics are very good for the BI professional and internal clients, if you need very high-level imagery for external clients additional work is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Sisense both internally and externally for our research clients.
Internally we have managed to better run our ops and logistics by building customized dashboards servicing our various stakeholders.
We also use Sisese for high-end research using multiple and changing data types and source, building and deploying cubes a new for every research project.

I would work closely with the Sisense team, I have found them to be bullshit-free and focused on helping us succeed.
Fast, Innovative tool with Top-notch customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Easy implementation from connecting data, building cube and creating dashboard. Within a few weeks our dashboards were up and running. The customer support is amazing, top notch!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The PDF printing, to be able to change the format. Sometimes the plugins don't work, and I need to disable and then reenable them. Would be helpful if there was a way to download data from the elasticubes rather than build a widget for the data you want to look at.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advanced modelling and optimising performance. Sisense has helped me to automate and save tremendous critical amount of time. Before implementing Sisense, it took days to make sense out of data to identify trends making us reactive rather than proactive. Now we can identify trends on the fly and are proactive!!
A simple BI setup to drive critical business insights where they're needed
What do you like best about the product?
Simple setup ensures there's no egregious overhead in beginning to build and deliver your BI.
What do you dislike about the product?
The visualizations are great but in some aspects limited. Sometimes a little more assistance is needed to create the story you are wanting to tell.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Highlighting critical insights that drive business decisions and optimize business behavior. Benefits we've realized are beating competitors to market with insights and trends undiscovered to the market until now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sisense is easier to implement than other BI tools. Competitors to Sisense have intense setups that may require time from your development teams.

The completeness of the solution is great, from manipulating our raw data, the creation of the dashboards that can be done by teams with a low background in data to the sharing options that enable us to share dashboards from operational teams to the executive committee
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some options missing so far in the data modelling part, for example the possibility to include Python script.

Compared to our previous externalised solution, we gain in agility and completeness in our usage of data without adding extra resources
