What do you dislike about the product?
Some key feature are missing (Native API exposure) but I guess they'll come soon !

What do you like best about the product?
the product itself and the merge with periscope is a great value addition, main contactperson and the helpful and friendly staff

Linking some connectors have proven to be less easy to implement

Atm automating the vast number of KPI's we have in excel, exploring patterns and show relations between KPI's

Not stable yet , additional features require add ons. Designer license are expensive

We are doing all company analytics with Sisense plus some of of the operational reports

Easy to use
Learning curve, but easy once you get it.
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy how easy it is to build complex and easy to understand dashboards. I find the dashboard interface extremely easy to understand and learn. I feel that I can design things pretty easily, and my users have enjoyed their interactions so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The elasticube structure has a bit of a learning curve between for people new to data, but that is simply a matter of our knowledge.
The training videos were based largely on having s software version of Sisense. The training needs to be adapted to users using Sisense online. I was only able to watch the videos on how to use Sisense, the downloadable options were purely based on having the desktop version. This made learning Sisense a lot more difficult as I learn by doing things.
Support is also dependent on having Sisense for desktop and needing to download files, which again we don't have.

We're looking at revenue, mostly. The ability to filter on different criteria is by far the most helpful in identifying issues in our data and revenue flow.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it is worth giving Sisense a shot, especially if you are new to the analytics field. It's functional and pretty easy to use.
Sisense for Restaurants
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense allows you to pull multiple data sources together and leverage dashboards and widgets to quickly react to varying business needs. The ongoing support from their management team is extremely good and sincerely want to assist you in succeeding in using their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is through email. Very difficult if I need a quick answer on something.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving multi unit operators and franchise chains collaborating their data into a central reporting service to allow them to react to changing needs as quickly as the data is collected from the restaurants.
Sisense Internal Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is an easy to use tool that allowed my company to produce analytical dashboards that immediately provided us with useful and insightful information for our internal staff. These dashboards have provided vital information for our management staff in terms of productivity. In addition, metrics have been provided for our sales team, that have been used to provide powerful insight for use in presentations to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been involved in reporting solutions for over 20 years. The only issue that I have encountered is unlearning old reporting software, and trying to incorporate reporting practices into Sisense. Not really an "dislike', just a learning curve that I needed to overcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Internal productivity reporting, client campaign reporting, event log filtering. Just to name a few.

Sisense BI
What do you like best about the product?
The ETL layer within SiSense is easy to use and very organized compared to other BI programs. The layout of the ETL layer makes for easy access of any table I'm looking for. The search function for column or table names comes in handy all the time since I'm always dealing with models that have many tables.
What do you dislike about the product?
When having a data model open within a browser, it can be frustrating when leaving that browser open all day having written code only for a scheduled build to start than finish because the instance of the data model I'm looking at then becomes outdated due to the build taking place and the code cannot be saved. I'm usually met with an error and the table closes upon clicking CANCEL. Once I'm booted back to the ETL area I also then have to refresh the browser window in order to continue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create dashboards is solving a lot of work flow issues among many groups within our organization. Automating their work allows for them to have added time to their schedule to dedicate to other tasks that may always be taking a back seat.
Sisense is a great partner and a great BI Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Sisense has gone above and beyond to work closely with our company to integrate BI directly into our application. The support and customer service from the Sisense team has been immaculate. The platform has allowed us a great level of customization in terms of visualization and back end architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permissioning users and groups to multiple dashboards is not easily done without making an API call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Sisense we have been able to empower our customers that help them make data-driven decisions. Internally, Sisense's intuitive setup and application has allowed a small team to manage the end to end process for BI and analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
The Sisense team is always ready to to help my startup software company with their expertise and understanding of questions as they arise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything about Sisense. However I do wish they offered an inexpensive training platform for users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Sisense platform is an integral part of our Software as a Service to our large restaurant company customers. Each day they use AQA and Sisense to ensure that the food they serve to their guests is safe to eat, and not adulterated or contaminated by microorganisms or chemicals. They also use our platforms to monitor the quality of the products from their suppliers to ensure that they are providing products that meet the agreed to specifications.
At a higher level, AQA's mission is to improve public health throughout the food supply chain,and was developed to mitigate foodborne illness. The CDC estimates that each year roughly 1 in 6 Americans (or 48 million people) gets sick, 128,000 are hospitalized, and 3,000 die of foodborne diseases.

What do you like best about the product?
Sisense is pretty simple to use and provide good and professionnal BI solution!
What do you dislike about the product?
A few things doesn't come with the "built-in" solution, but there are supported plug-ins that are develop to fix those kind of weaknesses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used to have lots of reports and it was taking so long to anlayse the outcome of them. With Sisense, we're able to tackle what is important and it mashes all the data to put it into results that speaks on the first sight.
