Implementing BI cross company with Sisense
What do you like best about the product?
1.The ease and speed when creating dashboards and widget.
2. Errors are minimized when dealing with the ElastiCubes.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. When doing ETL with the ElastiCube - building queries is a missing tool (in compare to SSIS)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing the business logic cross departments while making the company speaking the same "language" and numbers.

Great application, easy implementation and amazing support
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation was easy, we run mysql as our primary database and the integration was extremely easy, you can connect directly and pull in any tables you want, then link them in the Elastic Cube environment.
The dashboard front end is very flexible with strong UI, filtering and dragging and dropping new widgets is down very well.

While the visualizations are very good, it's not as eye catching as I would like and some formats aren't supported

Aggregating data and providing regular reporting to reduce time.

What do you like best about the product?
The graphical representation of the data is amazing, especially with the cohorts.

It takes a lot of time to run the queries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it to visualize the data in a chart format.

What do you like best about the product?
Really great visualizations, a far easier way to demo trends over time, wonderful filtering tools. The fact that I can run R & Python scripts in it is fantastic. And it's got such a great ease of access, a great user experience, and stunning aesthetics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't dislike anything about it! It's just too great to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to give our customers better insights into our data, and we're excited to go live soon! As for benefits, it's got capability to work with far more data and offers real time updates. It'll be a fantastic way to automate so much of my team's reporting work; I'll be so glad to no longer have to manually update, over hours, the items that Periscope can do in mere minutes.

Go for it
Sisense is a quick to production solution with a good vision of the future with great service.
What do you like best about the product?
Dashboards are easy to set up and intuitive for end-users to navigate. Installation and configuration of the software/environment was streamlined and quick to start development and launch. Customer Success team is very valuable, providing proactive guidance on best practices, feature roadmap and putting us in touch with the necessary resources needed to be successful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Elasticube design can be challenging for multi-tenant database environments (at the present time). Limited customization capabilities from a white-labeling perspective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing an interactive visualization platform that supports a white-labeling solution to deliver prescriptive dashboards to our customers.
Great tool for SaaS companies to support CS, Finance, Sales and Customers
What do you like best about the product?
You can create dashboards with multiple charts and use variables easily. I've used these charts to support Finance, Customer Success, Product and Sales requests. I also use Periscope to provide our customers information
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! it'd be great if they had a UI for people that don't know SQL to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help provide Customer Success to access to the data they need. Help Finance forecast. Help Sales understand who is performing.
Great product supported by a great team!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use when connecting most data sources, but more so how easy it is to build quick, insightful dashboards once connected!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some processes take more steps than one would think necessary - to be expected though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Countless. Sisense has connected so many systems into one point of access, mashing them up in ways never never imaginable.
Incredible resource for data

The virtually endless possibilities of getting data points.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the information you request can be a ton to sift through, so you have to be good with Excel to be able to manage your data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this data across our publication journals to find key measurement metrics.

Ease to write Custom code and build excellent dashboards

They don't have a 2 member pack, everything is Enterprise only!

High-quality ad super informative executive dashboards!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Add more of Notifications and Collaborations within a team. Also, we need functionality for No-SQL (MongoDBs, DynamoDB, BigTable) at some point!
Intuitive Dashboard Software
What do you like best about the product?
The Periscope team is technical and well versed when it comes to company specific custom implementations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Emphasis of tool is on simple, clear reporting. If you're looking for more complex visualizations--Periscope might not be the best fit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We monitor product and revenue performance in order to nimbly alter our strategies for company wide performance. Periscope allows us to keep metrics definitions consistent across teams and orgs.
