What do you like best about the product?
We appreciate DataDome's team being available and responsive. We are assisted by a Customer Success Manager and an onboarding Manager who are responsible for ensuring our satisfaction and training our users.
While DataDome takes care of the bot traffic, the dashboard and its features (especially the Custom Rules) are an efficient tool to manage our Partners' activity on the website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to report. I recommend DataDome for all platforms that require high availability and want to maximize the performance of their e-commerce system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of using DataDome have been twofold: we finally have an efficient bot management solution, I don't really spend much time on bot-related security issues anymore.
The DataDome dashboard provides real-time visibility into our bot traffic and offers powerful customization tools which are much appreciated by the analytics team.

Protecting our Data from scraping thanks to DataDome

What do you like best about the product?
What we like the best is that DataDome is suitable with most configurations and it required minimal modification on our technical infrastructure. It is easy to setup on our platforms as well as on the Cloud. We really appreciated the team's availability - if something goes wrong or if we have some question, they reply very quickly. Real-time rules allow us to whitelist, block or challenge users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Captchas wrongly sent to real users sometimes and IA algorithm can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bots were scraping our website in order to steal our content and then sell it to third parties. Since we've activated the protection, scraper bots are blocked and cannot access the website. Our data are secured and no longer accessible to bots. We are also now able to monitor technical logs in order to detect abnormal behaviors such as aggressive IP addresses or unusual queries.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Considering your vulnerabilities : scraping, brute force, ... and select your protection system regarding it.

What do you like best about the product?
The manipulation of DataDome has been simple. It has significantly improved the efficiency of the servers, and has guaranteed the protection of data, since it blocks the continuous attacks of the bots. Simply what our organization needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
DataDome has fulfilled the expected expectations. However, they could improve by bringing the software sensitivity to optimal levels.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to monitor bot traffic. He has assured us the total protection of our data. We have reduced the bandwidth consumption

What do you like best about the product?
All our needs were resolved by DataDome team. With this anti-bot solution we protect all our critical assets on login, registration, restore pass and other web-pages. Also, the heavy plus is number of different integrations with different platforms like Apache, nginx, ClodFlare, Varnish and etc. A lot of our IT Security processes were automated by DataDome

We didn't have any unsolved cases or problems

BruteForce attacks and fake registration problems were solved with DataDome

My inly recommendation: try and test. A lot of different bot attacks and problems will be resolved by DataDome.

Protecting our website and apps against malicious bots

What do you like best about the product?
DataDome integrates easily into applications without requiring major changes to their architecture, allowing for a simple, short implementation and progressive activation of the protection. In addition, we appreciate that the traffic to our sites isn’t diverted, which could have been an additional risk factor. Plus, the precise identification, classification and referencing of the bots are quite amazing
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I realy dislike about the solution
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before DataDome was introduced, we were addressing the bad bot issue in incident response mode. Since the solution was deployed, we no longer see any malicious activity on our sites related to bot traffic. This type of activity is automatically mitigated with a Captcha page. Nevertheless, we continue to analyze the logs in our SIEM to verify that DataDome is 100% effective and so far, it’s been the case.

Just test it to prove and be sure you will be convinced !

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things that I like the most is to be able to add more real-time reaglas, we can tell our partners that they needed to reach our API, that they would use a specific user that was included in the DataDome white list and in a few minutes it was all ready, It is amazing how easy it is to use DataDome, we configure our servers very quickly and the use of your panel is very efficient to manage the traffic of our bot. Love how works
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the sensitivity of the software is something high, they need that adjustment as soon as possible, but without counting this DataDome works excellently and without any further complaints to add
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without a doubt, my charm with DataDome is reflected, It's have done an excellent job controlling the bots in my company and protecting my web services and informing myself about everything. We can have a clear vision of the bot traffic with DataDome, we have managed to reduce the load in our servers and also access to our data is more secure from now

It has a great price and the interface is very convenient, it will help you a lot to know the traffic of bots in your company, you can try it without a doubt

Servers available for our customers, not for our competitors

What do you like best about the product?
Datadome’s AI algorithm and its ability to detect and block in real-time bot attacks. When we are under attack, the dashboard is very useful for us to note the attack but also to see that the AI is blocking automated traffic. Our websites also use multiple technologies (Linux, Hybris…) and the DataDome team has been able to integrate the module very easily on each technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Captcha part still not easy to personalize. Some real client see it and don't understand it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before setting up DataDome on our servers, our German & French websites were intensively crawled by scrapers bots and our team had to block IP addresses one by one. By setting-up DataDome, not only bots are blocked before coming on our websites, but we are also able to edit our own Custom Rules, allowing us to white- or blacklist ranges of IP addresses or countries.
Our market place is protected as well as our catalogs. Our websites are fully available for our customers. Not for our competitors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the trial period first and look at the bots DataDome is able to block.
Check also that the latency between your website and DataDome is OK.

Reducing our server load by 30%

What do you like best about the product?
The solution is well thought and it’s very interesting to get a better understanding of our traffic - even though we didn’t set-up DataDome for this purpose at the beginning.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn’t say there is something I dislike about the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were facing denials of service because of bot attacks. Our website was going down. Before setting-up DataDome when those attacks occured, we would fix the problem ourselves, in an old-fashioned way but we were not solving the issue. Since we’ve activated the protection our website is no longer a target for bad bots, our traffic is more stable, we have our server load under control and even better, we’ve been able to reduce it by 30%

What do you like best about the product?
Setting-up DataDome on our servers was quick and efficient: a simple piece of code to copy on our servers. The DashBoard is also useful. It took us a bit of time to get used to the information displayed and how to play with it, but once done, it's easy. Most of all, this dashboard allows us to be independent for white- or blacklistings bots in complete autonomy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing special, this solution fits our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefits we have realized thanks to DataDome is that we have a better overview and understanding of our incoming traffic. Indeed, before setting up the AI on our servers, bots were coming on our website and we had some skewed analytics. Our partners, mainly publishing house, are now able to better qualify their audience and have a better overview over who access published content.
The other advantages of setting up DataDome is that our infrastructure are less saturated and we are able to guarantee to our partners that content published on our website won’t be stolen by scraper bots as we have a full protection against them.
