What do you like best about the product?
An easy to use portal to manage, see and react to any Bot attacks.
What do you dislike about the product?
False positives do sometimes impact customers. Its unavoidable sometimes, but from time to time there seems to be a increase in false positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is scraping protection for our website.

DataDome Bot Protect is a very mature and effective bot management solution, best used as a complement to a WAF.
Detection quality is excellent, with a consistently low false positive rate on high‑traffic B2B ecommerce platforms, which is critical from a business standpoint.
The product has evolved significantly over the past years, with regular improvements and new capabilities that clearly show ongoing investment and roadmap execution.
It adapts well to new classes of automated traffic and evolving bot behaviors while remaining stable in production.
Integration is straightforward thanks to solid native connectors and APIs.
Support is responsive, technically skilled, and able to engage at an architectural level; French‑speaking support is also a strong plus for European teams.

DataDome helps us protect our ecommerce platforms against large‑scale automated traffic, primarily web scraping but also more sophisticated forms of bot activity.
It significantly reduces the business and infrastructure impact of non‑legitimate traffic by preventing content theft, resource abuse, and unnecessary load on our applications, while preserving access for legitimate users and partners.
This allows us to better control operational costs, maintain platform performance, and avoid putting excessive pressure on downstream systems and shared infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
I particularly appreciate the efficiency of DataDome in detecting and protecting against malicious bots. The solution is very simple to implement and works smoothly in the background, without impacting the site's performance. The dashboard offers good visibility of blocked threats and allows real-time monitoring of suspicious activity. The ability to customize security rules according to specific needs is also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is the cost, which can be high for small businesses or start-ups. Although the service is worth it due to the quality of protection, a more flexible pricing model could be interesting for organizations with tighter budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DataDome effectively solves the problem of malicious bot attacks that threatened the stability of our servers. Since its implementation, we have noticed a significant improvement in our site's performance, without interruptions due to overloads caused by bots. Furthermore, DataDome protects our sensitive product information, thus avoiding the risks of scraping, which is essential for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of our data. This not only enhances security but also strengthens our customers' trust in our platform.
Effective Captcha Protection for Client-side bot protections
What do you like best about the product?
Datadome's captcha offering is quite straightforward to implement, the documentation is thorough and support is quick to answer inqueries.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the dashboards/explore tools could use some love on the performance side of things. I would also love to be able dive deeper into the Captcha funnel charts. They're nice to get an aggregate view, but not the best for sorting issue reported by specific customers/users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers experience loads of bot traffic, we use DD client-side to protect their resources from nefarious actors.
Stopping bots and enjoying the journey
What do you like best about the product?
Datadome is really on a mission to stop bots, It was very easy to start working with them, even though we needed a customized approach with a new module for it to work. It was very quick to work together with them and answer all the questions that resulted in us integrating without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very sophisticated bots are still a challenge - but I don't see anyone having solved that yet, key thing is that they are continuing to invest and try to stop them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated fake account creation - Datadome is stopping them by the millions, allowing our departaments to have better control and handle on support tickets and less issues that arise from it.

What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of DataDome is the traffic analysis. Suppose any customer website has a 1,000 threshold value per minute. If the traffic exceeds the threshold value, we can block that traffic.
What needs improvement?
The solution catches and perfectly blocks traffic from malicious IPs. DataDome does not catch legitimate IPs during traffic analysis, even when the traffic exceeds the threshold value.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using DataDome for the last one year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I didn't see any bugs in DataDome. However, the solution sometimes does not catch malicious traffic.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
More than 100 people are using the solution in our organization.
How are customer service and support?
I contacted the DataDome team and raised my concerns. They said that the issue was related to some rule creation and that they would work on it and update us.
What other advice do I have?
Using the solution depends on your purpose. DataDome is a good tool for analyzing traffic in a SOC project. It is easy for a new user to learn to use the solution for the first time.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

They also have great customer support; help is readily available from their technical specialists if you run into issues.

Our site receives a lot of irregular traffic, with spikes and troughs in user numbers. However, Datadome doesn't really allow for this type of traffic in their pricing model, relying on a set number of requests/month and then charging overages, rather than offering a more flexible pay-as-you-consume model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Datadome is stopping huge numbers of bots from scraping our site and attempting to steal user accounts by brute-forcing passwords.
Great protection and even better support!
What do you like best about the product?
When signing on with new partners, your first concern is will I need a ressource to now manage this platform and it has not been the case. The support from datadome has been great. You get quick responses and team is ver knowledgeable. We've also encountered a lot less fraud which was the reason we partnered with datadome.
What do you dislike about the product?
We initially had issues with the captcha coming up and blocking employees from doing their work, but it has no longer been a problem recently.
