Don't waste your money
Spun up this server version 2.0 using their five day trial. Once the server came up, it was apparent this is just a vanilla AWS EC2 instance with nothing installed on it. Was hoping that everything would be installed and pre-configured and ready to go.
This is literally just a vanilla AWS AMI along with instructions pointing towards the Jitsi Quick Install web page, which you have to install yourself. Contacted support, they responded quickly but didn't answer my question as to what their AMI actually does.
You can get the exact same software by spinning up a server and running through the Jitsi quick install instructions. Why would I pay $500/year on top of what AWS charges for an EC2 instance?
Any idea about how much would it cost for 1 hour call having 10 members?
Product works great. We set up our own video conferencing on our own domain name.
