- more flexibility regarding custom metrics might be great

Recommendations to others considering the product:
CAST Highlight is particularly suited for APM and AMS at a Software Application Portfolio level and IT strategy level, but you need another solution for in-depth Software quality solution more integrated with the IDE, at the software developement level.

CAST Highlight gives a 360 view of an application
What do you like best about the product?
It assesses an application on Software Health, Elegance, and Agility and also indicates the cloud readiness percentage.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it could add COBOL capabilities as well as lot of legacy application is using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to provide an over all cloud readiness of on-prem applications
Easy to use and availability of extensive outputs
What do you like best about the product?
The vastness of the reports and the depth of the analysis results is unmatched. I did not come across such output with any other tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
The scoring pattern of the health parameters is not very easy to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My primary use is for cloud readiness and assessing how to make any application cloud-native. Both these requirements have been met.

The CloudReady report which helps during the planning phase.

Nothing at the moment. Probably some probability numbers could be added on some findings (like libraries or test files).

The simplicity of CAST which helps the user get most out of their code in an easy way.

The fact that there is no local platform for displaying the results

A good plan is to do the tutorials and try it out to get the feel of CAST. It is very easy to use so it won't take that long.

Security comments are awesome and clear, helped me to deliver a secure app

Some of the comments I didn't find it useful like using if else instead of ternary operator

Found it useful to identify the unknowns while migrating the applications to cloud platform.

It helps to assess the cloud readiness which will help to migrate the legacy application on cloud.

Nothing in particular but I need to evaluate more to understand it.

The most common problem would be to assess the legacy applications on the scale. CAST will help to evaluate those application while migration to understand the unknown dependencies.

CAST can be of good assistance to evaluate and assess in terms of cloud readiness and migration of the applications.

What do you like best about the product?
It is capable of finding dependencies and security issues that tools like SonarQube cannot.
It gives you some guidelines to bring your software to containers. Using a tool like this saves a lot of time and money.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like how I have to navigate to find the things that the report generates. Sometimes you have to go through the same site several times to realize where the desired link is. Perhaps because our icons are not intuitive and the names of the sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have already commented on it before: find things in your dependencies that others cannot, analyze your queries, see the ability to take it to the containers so you can move it to the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Great UI and easy to use. Reports are presented in a very easy to consume medium
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific comes to mind. CAST provided all we needed.

We have been able to determine the software resiliency and readiness for the cloud.
