Best time-series database
What do you like best about the product?
- Vast amount of resources and support available online
- Have connections to good amount of visualization tools
- Have connections to good amount of visualization tools
What do you dislike about the product?
- Very less flexible in editing past data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use InfluxDB for storing production data for all of our sites throughout the world
One of the best solutions for time series data
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about InfluxDB is its ability to handle high write and query loads, which makes it well-suited for time series data and real-time analytics. The software also has a built-in query language and a web-based interface that makes it easy to interact with and visualize data.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about InfluxDB is that it is not as well-suited for handling large amounts of unstructured data as some other databases I used before. Additionally, some users might find the query language somewhat difficult to learn, not a big minus or something, but still had to point it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InfluxDB is solving the problem of storing and querying time series data by providing a high-performance database that is optimized for this type of data. This is benefiting users by allowing them to easily collect, store and analyze real-time data, and make data-driven decisions based on it.
Flexible and responsive time series db
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility in how you can store and query data. This makes it an easy solution to start playing with and integrating time series data into an application. It is great that it is open source and has cloud hosting options.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud hosting seems like it could be quite expensive at scale. There is also an odd separation between what is available in the cloud and OSS versions but this is well documented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
InfluxDB is provides a quick and flexible way to provide time series data for another application. It can scale and support more structured data and queries over time.
Great training on advanced Flux skills
What do you like best about the product?
The hands-on part of the course was very beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major to dislike. The only minor improvement would be to have the time ranges of the data we worked with as recent as possible so that the default periods could be used when browsing the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to investigate and manipulate our data with ease and deliver insight to clients with greater efficiency
Great Time Series DB
What do you like best about the product?
The performance of writes and reads! Easy to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe some of the documentation could get improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the part of storing any metric and being able to query these in whatever way you like.
Best DB for time series related data
What do you like best about the product?
Best DB for saving and retrieving time series related data
What do you dislike about the product?
Libraries are a little complex to integrate in the development phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping in saving and retrieving the data which needs to be stored for a regular interval. And mainly it gives a very good flexibility while fetching the data.
Love how easy it is to setup and how versatile it is
What do you like best about the product?
Setup is easy with InfluxDB Cloud and building customized dashboards is easy with pre-built templates to start from. Tons of integrations for all my data sources as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about. I do suggest using the cloud version over the open source once you've tried it out - it's so easy and dare I say fun to build in - no matter the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a database to graph some time series data. I was intimidated as a newbie but after less than an hour I was pretty comfortable with using it and built my first dashboard.
I continuously faced roadblocks with setting up tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The UI was clean and easy to navigate throughout
What do you dislike about the product?
The custom programming language had a significant learning curve
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time data monitoring
Great Experience!
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of influxdb is the detailed graphs and metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as dislikes go I would say it is a bit complex to implement when compared to net data for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of reporting on the performance of machines in the network.
Good experience
What do you like best about the product?
They scalability and easy understand use
What do you dislike about the product?
While using some it show me some different error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
