Automation has saved significant time in banking operations and improves daily compliance checks

  • May 05, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

Automation Anywhere is utilized in cases where business users employ the robotic process for checking systems like SAS, CRM, and scoring systems, then returning results to the business team instead of having users perform these tasks repetitively every day.

I work with customers in banks using Automation Anywhere, so systems such as those mentioned are utilized for checking if a customer is on sanction lists or watchlists. We also use i-Score, a system in Egypt for checking the credit scoring of customers. There are systems operating on legacy systems that need vision components in Automation Anywhere, such as those for national ID identification. We have systems checking for anti-money laundering and systems for ticketing or opening tickets for customers. Additionally, we have systems that extract news from websites and send the data to BI or Power BI for further data investigation and analysis. In a bank in Egypt, we also use RPA for opening quick SAS and accounts on legacy systems where integration points are absent.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable features I find in Automation Anywhere are Agents and MetaBot.

Automation Co-Pilot is a good feature, but I have not worked with it.

Automation Anywhere has helped my customers save time and costs, especially in card settlements. This task used to take about fourteen days to refund the user, and using Robotic Process Automation, it now takes the next day or at the same time.

What needs improvement?

Automation Anywhere needs to move toward the era of hyper-automation, not only using robotics but also taking the fast track in agentic AI and AI automation. They need to invest more in this field, as UiPath and IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation and integration data and AI have more flexibility and features than Automation Anywhere.

I would like to see more hyper-automation features in Automation Anywhere, with more than just embedded components. They should enable additional components to be integrated, invest more in agentic AI and bots, enhance MetaBots with more features and capabilities, and provide Arabic support, including right-to-left reading of files, scanning, and OCR of files. As IBM offers more features, such as IBM Datacap and IBM Automation Document Processing with excellent Arabic support, Automation Anywhere needs to catch up in this regard.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been dealing with Automation Anywhere for one year or a year and a half.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Automation Anywhere is scalable.

How are customer service and support?

My manager is the one who works with the technical support for Automation Anywhere, but we receive clear support from them. Having worked on one case with their support, I can rate them a seven, maybe seven to eight.

What other advice do I have?

Using Automation Anywhere is neither easy nor hard, but against IBM Robotic Process Automation, IBM Robotic Process Automation wins. I have a working case that takes from Automation Anywhere Robotic Process Automation about ten hours, whereas we made this task in four hours with IBM Robotic Process Automation. The same steps needed four hours. IBM Robotic Process Automation has a significant difference as it allows multi-agents to run on the same machine, enabling us to run multiple browsers simultaneously. However, for Automation Anywhere, if we switch from one browser to another, the focus on an element is lost, requiring us to refocus again. This helps us minimize our task time from ten hours using Robotic Process Automation to four hours using IBM Robotic Process Automation.

Regarding the pricing of Automation Anywhere, I believe this is a significant challenge. In some sales cases, customers initially state that it is very high, but once the work is completed and the results are evident, they invest more in robotic tools. This sentiment is true for Automation Anywhere, UiPath, IBM Robotic Process Automation, or Blue Prism; customers often state at first that it is very high, but later invest more after seeing results.

I can rate Automation Anywhere an eight for robotic capabilities, but if considering overall automation and AI, I would rate it six or seven. My overall rating for this review is eight.

Automation has streamlined document, web, SAP, and Excel tasks and has boosted project delivery

  • April 30, 2026
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I am currently working with Automation Anywhere at a company that uses it for client projects. I am learning Automation Anywhere while working on particular projects, and I gain knowledge from their website where they provide learning material to understand new different ways to use specific actions.

Currently, I do not use Automation Anywhere Co-Pilot because I have to use SAP Recorder, SAP Action, web automation, and Excel automation.

What is most valuable?

There are many features in Automation Anywhere that meet our needs. If you want to work on documents, Document Automation is critical. If you are working on Excel, there are Excel commands that are very helpful for Excel automation. For web-based techniques, there is a recorder which is very helpful for web purposes. If you are using SAP, then there is SAP Action, which is most helpful during SAP automation.

Automation Anywhere is very easy to handle because it is a low-code platform, so anyone can learn very quickly.

What needs improvement?

Automation Anywhere should add more features for complicated use cases. I am currently trying their structure format recorder, which is basically only working on HTML pages. It could work on Node.js or many dynamic sites, which would improve the recorder purpose. They can scale up and add more features like pivot charts to Automation Anywhere.

Structure recording in Automation Anywhere works on sites with a tabular format. If you go on Amazon and search for a mobile, it will give you table one, table two, table three, and many kinds of product lists. Currently, Automation Anywhere's structure format only supports HTML pages, not others built in Node.js or any application. They can add more technology or in Excel automation they can add the pivot chart feature.

There is a feature called AI Sense Recorder in Automation Anywhere. When using the Citrix environment, the bot is not exposed, so you have to capture it through image application. However, the AI Sense Recorder is too slow, so they can enhance its features for easier user experience.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been dealing with Automation Anywhere for five plus years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Automation Anywhere is very easy to scale.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support by Automation Anywhere is much better. I would rate it a nine.

How was the initial setup?

There are two approaches for the initial setup of Automation Anywhere. The first one is the cloud approach and the second is the enterprise one, which is basically on-premises. On-premises is very easy as we have to set up the SQL database and the application, following all the steps. For the cloud, you do not have to set anything; just the proper configuration of the system is required to use Automation Anywhere.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

We can integrate Power BI, Salesforce, and many other applications with Automation Anywhere using the API or the recorder action.

If you have the basic knowledge of technology, you can easily integrate all automation with different kinds of applications in Automation Anywhere. It is very simple. We just have to know about the features and their technology to use any kind of application.

Revolutionizes Legal Work Efficiency, Needs More Templates

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how genuinely adaptable and reliable Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation is for our daily legal work. It handles small, unexpected issues like unusual contract formats and inconsistent data without freezing or needing constant fixes. It's incredibly consistent, which is critical in legal work where accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable. It runs smoothly in the background during busy periods and integrates well with our existing case management systems without a lot of hassle. Most importantly, it takes over mind-numbing, repetitive work so our team can focus on actual legal strategy and client support. It's not just fast—it's trustworthy, and that makes a huge difference for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even though the bots can adapt to different document formats, adjusting that adaptive behavior is still too technical. Our legal team can't easily edit it and we end up waiting for someone with automation expertise to make changes. I also wish there were more ready-made templates for legal work, like contract review, e-discovery, or data compliance workflows. Right now we have to build most processes from scratch, which takes a lot of initial time and testing. The biggest improvement would be building more legal-specific out-of-the-box workflows. Also, better no-code tools for managing exceptions would be incredibly helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to alleviate repetitive legal tasks like contract review and GDPR requests, reducing human error and ensuring compliance. It handles tedious work, freeing our team for high-level legal strategy and client meetings, making us more efficient and less stressed.

Adaptable Yet Complex for Non-Tech Users

  • April 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the adaptive, agent-driven workflow intelligence of Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation, which goes beyond basic RPA and is perfectly suited for our e-learning operations. Its agentic capability lets bots dynamically adjust to unplanned scenarios without requiring constant manual reconfiguration. I find this flexibility invaluable in our field. The platform also offers easy integration with our existing e-learning platforms and admin tools, allowing end-to-end automation of various tasks. Moreover, it provides stable and reliable bot execution, even during high-traffic periods, ensuring consistent service for our users. I also like its centralized monitoring and straightforward bot management, which makes it simple to oversee workflows and scale automation without the need for heavy technical support. These features combined save us significant time, reduce errors, and allow our team to focus on creating quality e-learning content rather than repetitive administrative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation delivers strong value for our e-learning team in Berlin, there are a few areas where it falls short and could be improved to better fit mid-sized e-learning operations. One key pain point is the initial bot setup for industry-specific workflows. The platform lacks pre-built templates tailored for e-learning tasks such as learner data validation, certificate generation, or LMS content syncing. This means our team has to build most automations from scratch, which extends deployment time and requires more technical effort than expected. The agentic decision-making logic can also be overly complex to fine-tune for non-technical users. Though adaptive, adjusting how bots handle exceptions like missing learner information or inconsistent data formats often demands advanced configuration, making it difficult for our course administration and support teams to modify workflows independently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors, and synchronize data across platforms, freeing our team to focus on content and support. It handles peak periods effortlessly, ensuring fast service without extra staff.

Essential for Compliance and Efficiency in Banking

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the unique ability of Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to combine strong regulatory compliance with intelligent, autonomous exception handling, which is crucial for our banking operations. The platform’s agentic logic safely resolves routine exceptions within our compliance framework, reducing process delays and operational friction without manual intervention. Its enterprise-grade security, detailed audit logging, and seamless integration with our core banking systems ensure that every automated action is fully traceable, simplifying audits and meeting strict regulatory requirements smoothly. The automation scales smoothly across account opening, payment reconciliation, KYC, and loan processing workflows without compromising stability or data governance. This combination of autonomy, security, and reliability makes it stand out more than generic automation solutions. It's also a huge advantage that it serves our retail and SME customers faster by resolving routine issues safely within our rules and reduces implementation risk by fitting directly into our daily workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
One key frustration is that the agentic decision-making logic lacks transparency for compliance-critical tasks. When a bot resolves an exception during KYC or payment validation, we often struggle to quickly trace exactly why a specific judgment was made, which creates extra work during internal and BaFin audits. More detailed, audit-ready decision logs would be extremely helpful. Also, the platform could offer more pre-built, compliance-ready templates specifically for European banking, like native workflows under BaFin, SEPA payment validation, and GDPR-compliant data handling. Currently, we have to build almost everything from scratch, which adds to setup time and compliance risk. Additionally, the role-based access control could be more granular. It's too broad now, and we have to create custom workarounds to meet security policies. The initial setup was functional but fairly involved—typical for enterprise-grade automation in banking, though not as intuitive as we hoped for a team focused on day-to-day operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to streamline compliance-heavy workflows, reduce human error in KYC and AML, and eliminate bottlenecks in banking operations. It frees our team from repetitive tasks, improves accuracy, and allows us to focus on customer advisory and risk management.

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation offers strong regulatory stability combined with intelligent agentic exception handling, which is critical for our finance and insurance industry. It can resolve common discrepancies in claims, policy data, and transaction records while staying fully compliant with German financial regulations, reducing process downtime and manual escalations. I'm also impressed by its enterprise-grade security and audit trail capabilities that make audits smooth and help us meet strict compliance requirements effortlessly. Another major advantage is its reliable integration with our legacy banking and insurance systems, allowing us to automate processes without needing to rebuild our entire tech stack; it fits and scales across departments without disruption. Additionally, I appreciate its built-in compliance, audit logging, and security controls, all tailored for highly regulated industries like ours, making every automated action fully traceable.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, the bot runtime consumes relatively high system resources when running multiple compliance and reconciliation tasks in parallel. During peak processing periods, this occasionally leads to slower execution or minor delays, which can be problematic in time‑sensitive financial settlement cycles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to reduce manual errors, improve processing speed, and maintain compliance in financial workflows, freeing up my team to focus on complex tasks instead of repetitive work.

Intelligent Automation Boosts Design Agency Efficiency

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the balance of ease of use with smart adaptive behavior that Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation offers. It lets us build automations for tasks like file organizing, approval reminders, and feedback tracking without heavy coding, meaning even project managers can set up workflows, not just IT staff. The agentic intelligence is particularly valuable in our design workflow, as it can recognize common issues like missing metadata or misnamed file versions and handle them without breaking entirely, keeping projects moving smoothly. I also value how reliably it connects our creative tools, project management software, and client feedback systems, ensuring data syncs smoothly across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
First, many of the built-in templates and automation examples are focused on finance, IT, or manufacturing—not creative and design workflows. Things like automated asset approval, design file versioning, and client feedback tracking require us to build almost everything from scratch, which takes more time than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to streamline admin tasks, reduce human error, speed up projects, and keep workflows moving despite data gaps, freeing my team for creative work.

Powerful Automation with Room for Improvement

  • April 06, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the strong adaptive automation logic of Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation. Its ability to handle exceptions autonomously without human intervention has made our development and testing pipelines much more stable and reduced unexpected interruptions. The integration with our existing toolchain is another aspect I appreciate. It seamlessly connects with our project management platforms, code repositories, testing tools, and internal IT systems without requiring heavy custom development. This integration unifies our workflows and automates data synchronization across platforms, making our processes more efficient. The way it turns rigid automation into resilient automation has cut down unexpected pipeline failures and reduced after-hours troubleshooting. I also value how it eliminates data silos and reduces human error, speeding up our development cycle considerably.
What do you dislike about the product?
We also found that the permission and access control settings are somewhat inflexible. Managing role-based access for different team members involved in automation requires extra configuration steps and doesn’t always align smoothly with our existing Active Directory structure. Assigning granular permissions requires navigating multiple layers of settings, and the system doesn’t offer flexible, team-based role templates that match our development, QA, and IT operations groups. We often have to manually adjust permissions for individual users instead of applying bulk, role-based policies. It also doesn’t integrate as smoothly as we’d like with our existing Active Directory groups. We can’t fully sync AD roles directly to automation access rights, forcing us to duplicate permission setups in two places. The initial setup was straightforward for basic tasks but became noticeably more complex when configuring advanced agentic workflows and tool integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Automation Anywhere Agentic Process Automation to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual errors and speeding up development cycles. It solves data silos in our workflows, ensures consistency, and the agentic automation handles exceptions, minimizing interruptions and operational bottlenecks.
