AA RPA is very user friendly.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of AA RPS is that it easy to learn and implement in real world. There is no coding skill required for to learn AA RPA. It can be implemented immediately as commands and user interface are self explanatory. There are several useful functions related to excel, and pdf processing. I like option to create IQ bots in free community edition.
What do you dislike about the product?
AA RPS community version does not have all useful feature. Lets as I can not extract PDF form data from multi page pdf file in community edition without splitting the pdf.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving problem related to prepare requisition from a large multi page PO by extracting data to excel. I am also using RPA to extract invoice data from pdf files.

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of customization options, easy to get into but deep enough to do exactly what we need
What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly my area, but it is very expensive compared to some of the other tools or in-house tools we were using previously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Intricate automation problems that we just weren't able to solve via built in tools to Windows. e.g. having a job trigger when a file landed in a specific location, or chaining other jobs together in a batch
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't have complex automation tasks, probably not for you when other products will do some of that for free

What do you like best about the product?
Humans make minor error every time using Automation anywhere Robotic process automation helps reduce human error by eliminating copy-and-paste mistakes from entering the same data into multiple systems. It helps in increasing the throughput by completely automating tasks in seconds or minutes to deliver higher value for your customers. RPA helps in improving decision in real time by learning from past decisions, simulations or real-time data to improve the accuracy of your decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike as of now. As soon as I find something out this section is going to get updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gaining business agility as it helps to quickly adapt to changing conditions and keeping the business on track. Helps in automation with scale by deploying hands-off processing while managing cases and exceptions.

What do you like best about the product?
End to End Solution could be made easily with the help of Automation Anywhere bots. Also we could make each and everything automated and reduce lot of manual effort and time. This is very user friendly software which helps to make various reports which is very helpful to analyze the data. This software keeps your data safe with it's end to end security implemented in it. All in All this is highly recommended to use for every organization who are putting their lot of efforts in manual things and want to overcome by turning it to automated one.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I have used it till now , I found it's set up somewhat difficult for me. If you are a software programmer then you need not to use your coding skills but at the same time a programmer will not be utilizing his skills what he has actually. So there should be some Developer Related coding module in it so that Developer might not be uneasy after sometime. Also I think this is bit costly as per the other software/tools available in the market .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have automated some of the manual end to end Flows in my previous organization. In my previous organization HR team was manually preparing the salary of employees manually in the excel sheets. I made a solution for them to prepare the automatic generated salary slips and salary calculations on monthly and yearly basis financials statements.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Automation Anywhere is the ease of implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say I dislike about Automation Anywhere is the lack of features compared to UiPath.

We have solved a broad amount of problems with AutomationAnywhere, including Finance, Supply Chain and HR across multiple industries.

Automate the repetitive work in clinical approvals

What do you like best about the product?
I like the RPA best because it helps to automate repetitive task which would eliminate monotonous manual work which is prone to manual errors. It increase the process throughput, faster the process, eliminate the manual error, decrease the cost of additional staff to do the work, increase the productivity and quick turn around time, add business value and easy maintainable

Sometime end users don't prefer to learn new process of automation and receive a push back to continue with existing process
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used in the health care for pre authorization approval process. Providers submit service authorization request which need to be reviewed and make a decision on the request. Current process was manual review and make a decision. With automation it helps as below:
1- Faster review and approval process
2-Lower the manual review staff cost
3-Process is streamlined and improved accuracy and efficiency
4-Increased provider satisfaction due to less turn around time
5-Increated business value as it lowers hiring nurses and doctors for manual review and improved speed and output of review
6-Lower maintenance as decision rules are easily maintained centrally as compared to existing cumbersome rule maintenance manually

What do you like best about the product?
The layout of the UI keeps the bot development simple and easy to navigate. Passing variables between tasks is very simple as well, speaking as someone transitioning from a web developer into an RPA developer, the university features everything you need to get started, and the support pages answer a lot of questions you have at the start. The online support team are also very helpful. Managing bot schedules, user accounts, credential values, etc, is very simple and straightforward within the online Control Panel environment. and with 2019, being able to access the control panel from any browser is going to prove very helpful, especially if we have to test a long running bot on the machine and still need something to continue working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've found that some of the tools can be a bit finicky at times, such as the Object Cloning tools, and can take some time to configure to work properly, and sometimes can work fine one day, but then not the next, which often leads to a lot of maintenance being required on existing bots. Some advice on how to make the OC tools more robust would go a long way. There is also a common problem whereby the facility that handles uploading to the repository, as well as downloading from the repository, often gives warnings of changes between live and online versions of tasks, but when we compare the 2 versions, they are exactly the same, which leads to time loss as we review our code to make sure nothing else has been going on during the development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
thanks to AA, after nearly 2 years of development and with a very small development team of 2, we've been able to save the company thousands of hours, and nearly £250k+ in efficiency savings alone, whilst giving valuable time back to our advisors and front facing staff members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely worth investing in and trialling, but be sure to allocate time and resource for maintenance and support

Is automation anywhere a good RPA tool?

What do you like best about the product?
AA is one of the powerful tool in market. But it's not in peak because of it's license cost. It's huge. There are no community edition. (There are trail available but for limited period)

Also AA doesn't have any academy or proper structured blogs to go through / learn. There are few E-learning available but those cannot give a detailed knowledge. There are some third party tutorials available, but we cannot perform automation and practice.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few applications take more time for loading when integrated.
Declaring the datatype of variables is challenging.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Personally speaking I am impressed with the Automation Anywhere Community Edition. They are a little late to the market, after all UiPath released their community edition a couple of years ago, but they have had time to think about it and the result is a very strong offering.

Firstly, you don’t just get RPA, you also get their AI engine (IQBot) and their Analytics package (Bot Insight). There are some limitations on IQBot, but not unfairly, it’s still a strong overall package of capabilities.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is user friendly RPA tool which can be used by anyone who has less programming knowledge. It has got many commands to interact with web, windows based application. Also lot of logic commands are there for IfElse statements. Lots of command to work on files, directories etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
IQBot is in a primitive stage and need quite a bit of upgradation and improvements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating operations processes in a backoffice of call center to verify application values. Also processing invoices, and doing automation of robotic processes for various departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a fantastic tool with ease of usage and implementation for automation processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Using automation anywhere has increased the productivity in our organization, also the intelligent automation learns and scales alongside. the feature of Unattended automation helps in automating the processes completely without any humans. You don't need to have a background in software development and building of bots. Small learning curve, also allows OCR and machine learning capabilities to focus on the repetitive tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing on the higher side. Although in features and benefits one of the best solutions out there, other than this nothing to dislike now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the robotic process automation provided by automation anywhere we are automating the customer service process and enabling self-service for users. We have used bots to provide a comprehensive customer self-solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
check out other solutions present and then opt which is best suitable on your needs although everyone offers the same product look at the after sale services provided by the team.
