Automation of Day to Day Task
What do you like best about the product?
Best part is it reduced human or manual intervention a drastic bare minimum level. Talking about my personal experience with RPA, 95% of my tasks are automated, which allows me to be more productive in other fields
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very less things to dislike about RPA, but personally i feel that the code should be more user friendly like anyone who would have a 1st hand experience into automation starting from scratch and choosing RPA should be able to learn in 1-2 attempts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said earlier about my personal experience with RPA, 95% of my tasks are automated, which allows me to be more productive in other fields. So problem such as automatic tickets assignment as per roster scheduled, etc. are solved very easily.

IQ BOT is best trained. Not much manual work as compared to UIPATH. Automation of Excel is easy when compared to other RPA tools. Macro recorders

What do you dislike about the product?
Should work little more on making attractive GUI. Add more tools for workflow automation. Database connectivity is quite difficult to perform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process involved in automating excel based tasks, email automation. HR system, approval workflow etc. Types of variable (List , Array, Value, Random) are not enough. I need some more complex types like Dictionary, DataTable
The way to read/write data out/in Excel file is not convenience. I want to bulk read/write data to/from user-managed variable like DataTable, not through system variable like now.

Ability to step into dependencies and view/watch dependencies
Exceptions bubbling up the stack to the first error handler (i.e. remove the need to pass IsError type flag between all tasks/meta bots)

- Inability to describe detailed error of the issue caused because of the system or bot agent issue(not the code)
- Inability to wait dynamically to download IQbot output file. (needs to use API or create logic for dynamic wait)

Client used UI based portal to perform their daily tasks such as order processing, quotes and contracts generations, however the UI was getting frequently updated in couple of months as per client's requirement resulting jn failure where object capturing were used.
Hence the team implemented solution with AA Rest API command and decided to go with API instead of UI based automation. This resulted in lot of time saving during the execution and less errors.

Tool that just does wonders for your manual processes, nothing more!!
What do you like best about the product?
Its platform independence, as it can automate right from web browser activities to Mainframe to citrix activities. I have used to automate use cases like user access automation, financial close task automations and smoke test automations.
What do you dislike about the product?
OCR can be developed to support extensive image based PDFs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly involved with Citrix automations and web browser based automations. These are able to solve my 60% of my manual and redundant work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look at your manual processes and especially the ones which do not require much decision making and follows a strict path of steps, those use cases are actually implementable using Automation Anywhere tool.

Market perceives the platform less robust for industrial automation in comparison to BluePrism

I have developed number of BOT for my Teams, It's helpful for us to save the time and resource.

A2019 is cloud based Its is difficult to access BOT file from one system to another.

I have worked in Telecom, HR and finance project. I have developed a BOT which is benefit for us to save time and resource.
Very supportive team who helped meet a strict timeline driven POC

Supportive Team. Collaborative and understands customer's expectations. Also suggested the customer regarding the different types of use cases which should be picked to show the tool's capabilities.

The demo was a recorded session which the team somehow managed to show well. But a live use case demo would have impressed the customer and draw more attention.

AA has the most user friendly interface to work with. Also th IQ bots feature is the best that I can find in AA

Debugging is little difficult and in case of excel data one cannot see the data directly. This makes little difficult for the user while debugging

Using AA, I am able to solve many business problems for many clients.

Ease of use, engagement in terms of new upcoming features usage and depth of addressing problems is amazing.
