automation anywhere has been great for my rpa initiatives so far
What do you like best about the product?
i likethe new drag and drop, discovery bot. I love that some of my business users can now use it without any difficulty and they are starting to create simple robots on their own.
What do you dislike about the product?
if you need to upgrade, you need to go to individual bots to upgrade each package
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
swivel chair business processes, we have a huge savings in manhours already

If you are looking for an RPA tool that is easy to use and enables Citizen Development, Automation Anywhere would be the correct tool for your organization.
So much worse than the competition
What do you like best about the product?
There is not a whole lot. The default option for interaction with the GUI does not interfere with keystrokes and mouse clicks are simulated. That is a small plus, I guess.
What do you dislike about the product?
Key functionalities that are standard features of BluePrism and UiPath are flat out missing. Implementing automation solutions of comparable complexity requires cumbersome workarounds.
I originally got started working with RPA tools about 2.5 years ago, starting out with UiPath and if it was not for the UiPath academy / certification program that I completed while in my previous job, the Automation Anywhere training would have been of little use for me to wrap my head around what best practices in RPA are all about.
Automation Anywhere also does not have a proper console for logging, debugging is a pain, you cannot pass application or window instances from one task file to the next, and there are no variable types.
If doesn't take an expert to figure out how much worse than the competition Automation Anywhere truly is. You log on for the first time and immediately it feels like your machine is running Windows 98 again. I'm sure the developers of AA did a fine job building this tool, but UiPath smoked them, and as far as I know BluePrism is lapping them as well.

Automating business processes where various data entry or reconciliation tasks are repetitive and rule based. A cheap and fast alternative to building an API, but requires more maintenance efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If the option is available at all, I recommend you go with UiPath instead.
There are some tutorials available online on the official website, but you are better off consulting youtube or Udemy instead.

Easy to Automate, Stable & Secured RPA Solution
What do you like best about the product?
1. A2019 version has a lot to offer like list view and flow view for development.
2. Bot insights and IQ Bot solutions offered by AA that well integrates with AA product.
3. Stability of the bots after deployment in PROD.
4. Ease of development with flow view. Even non-programmers can build simple/medium bots without any assistance.
5. Programmers can use python, Javascript and VBScript inline with the bot code.
6. Provides ROI calculator inbuilt for calculating ROI.
7. Simultaneous bot execution on multiple machine to process large chunk of data is possible with Workload Management.

1. Support provided by AA is slow and not up to the mark.
2. Migration utility for migrating v11 to A2019 is still not mature and AA has already announced the End of sales and services for v11.
3. Some of the features present in v11 are missing in A2019 which should not have happened as any product that releases a newer version always has backward compatibility and supports features present in older version.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. I am able to automate front office as well as back office applications for my customers with ease of list as well as flow view.
2. I am able to utilize my programming skills as well in the bot code to make it optimal using Python, Java script, Excel Macros, and VB Script.
3. I am able to integrate Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language along with the bots using APIs.

1. Build your inbuilt RPA CoE(Centre of Excellence) in house rather than relying on Automation Anywhere for support.
2. Go for this RPA Solution over any other RPA solution like UiPath, Blue Prims, Open Span , etc.

Automation Anywhere is very much an excellent automation tool.

Automation Anywhere is an outstanding cloud-based approaches require automation, wherever the output of the activities of the business becomes noticed. It's very flexible since feature resources or APIs could also be used to provide additional benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have really no issues found in Automation Anywhere Platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Automation Anywhere product is simple and provides a great platform that can be used in several automated scenarios out of another case. Clients include additional but rather increased utility within a limited timeframe, that is unbelievable, as a report will often have a working framework in which they will actually deliver.

Good platform for RPA and you should go with Automation Anywhere.

Best RPA tool for process automation on where various business application. Any body can automate the process. It is easy to work and automate the process. it is best product where we can automate on extracting unstructured data like invoice process. iqbot is best tool to extract.
AA Review
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is one of the easiest RPA tools, because most of the required commands are available inbuilt and you don't need to spend time writing codes, the tool does half of the work. It is a scalable, powerful, and secure RPA tool. The best thing is the 500+ commands which can be integrated with multiple applications without any hassle. It has a lot of additional features such as Credential Vault, Work Load Management, Bot Insights, etc. The most recent version A2019 is outbreaking, it is a complete cloud-based solution with some new cool features.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to WLM, there are deployment issues. The bot starts after a few minutes after adding new records and Citirxi automation is not much developed in Automation Anywhere. These are the only few things which I didn't like. Other than this AA is superb!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have automated many repetitive and boring tasks which finally increased productivity, faster delivery rates, reduced human errors in work, data security and increased ROI etc. The process which was running for 11 to 12 hours, now is reduced to 6 to 7 hours.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are planning to purchase Automation Anywhere, then please go for the latest version A2019, it is super cool and has a rich variety of commands using which development works becomes easy and smooth. The price for Attended bot runners is expensive, but compared to other tools in the market this is comparatively better.

Product stability needs to be worked upon by Automation Anywhere and the community edition should be improvised such that businesses can leverage it to start with the implementation of basic use cases before purchasing licenses.
