My first Automation Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tools n components, I believe one of the best in industry. When I started my RPA journey I started with Automation Anywhere. I feel the components are easy to use, it just requires analytical skills to understand the full flow of the automation. In AA2019 the graphical flow is good invention. Variable creation is also easy to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have trouble getting quick solution from online. The only solution available is through AA forum but not much help in YouTube and other online articles( stack overflow/tech flow/KB articles). AA forum does not have answers to AA2019 scenarios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my professional work. I'm a full time developer in Automation Anywhere. I worked on number of projects for AA11 in Suncorp and using AA2019 in Procensol.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use, Good technical support team answering to responses on time.
Good product but the university needs more hands on training. the tryme functions are clunky

there isnt enough hands on activities nor real word examples in the developer space

What do you like best about the product?
Very good content. Very little extraneous information. These courses are very focused.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some feel a bit repetitive, but it is usually for a good reason.

I am a consultant and have used this to sell work for automation.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use, ability and versatility power to automate development efficiently and quickly can allow Metabot and the ability of its to take outside class (.dll) libraries to create reusable, automated, and scalable screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not love working with the OCR function since it is incorrect. In many aspects it just simply does not indicate fixed text, which I believe is the one feature that I'm not fond of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Setting up the instant window is really easy. Scripts may be created and executed for the new setup of the laptop computer, which decreases the administrative burden for the information tech dept.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation anywhere is the perfect tool or platform to create or develop a bot that helps to automate the work and reduced effort and time. It's amazing drag and drop feature that help to create any automated task's bot on clicks which attracts the non-technical users also. One could enjoy doing it by seeing it's efficiency and working support.
What do you dislike about the product?
On other side of attractive design and features it is also responsible for some problems as well. First think is with the connectivity that requires primary knowledge of programming which can further be optimized in upcoming versions of it. Some bugs and security flaws are also visible to the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my working profession it helps me right from opening my device. By this I automate the task to open certain directories, some settings, and then when we move to server side than it helps me to define policies for many users connected over the server. It also helped me in extracting some web contents that usually requires a lot of effort and time.

I would highly recommend this software for the one's who usually need to do a similar kind of work repeatedly and waste a lot of time over it. All who use to create automated bots can use this tool for better support.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is the best tool in the RPA market to get rid of ongoing tasks. The tool lets you use the similar functions to use it to perform other tasks too, the best part is the level of integration with the database.

Feels little complex at times when used on new projects

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is constantly upgrading their software and adding new features to stay ahead in the industry. Their IQBot for document processing is very well layed out and easy to identify target fields and add custom logic if necessary. The script formatting of their development environment is very user friend and easy to locate commands. There are over 500 commands available including scripts and I haven't run into a scenario yet where I couldn't find a feature to connect with an application. I've been able to log output data very easily to files and interface with Excel very easily, including running macros and this has helped a lot with what we've been trying to accomplish. I also like the University of Automation Anywhere as they have a lot of resources available to read and a cloud version even where you can test the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike some of the features to the Metabot because I am not able to edit an existing metabot in the sense of copying the logic from one metabot to another and changing some of the tasks inside and uploading to the server. This has caused a lot of rework in the processes I've had to automate. I don't like how you can't pull out tabs on the top and can only have one window open at a time. And maybe this is a personal problem, but when I leave the tab and come back, it starts at the top and I always have to scroll back to where I was rather than staying in the same spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many internal problems are being solved and we are beginning to do more direct work with clients. A lot of the files that come in are Excel processes that should be automated weekly or daily and we are beginning to see the benefits of having a virtual worker. Also we are experimenting with large document processing and beginning to see good results from that as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A cheap solution for RPA, easy to understand scripts that can be pulled from sidebar and dropped on main page to integrate with existing applications.
Quiet effective Automation platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is the best of all automating tool have ever used. The product performs very nice even on large data situations, supporting the large number of other applications. Very simple on Bots creations, task and processes automations, and the reporting functions provides the best and even its commands are perfect.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can not quote any issue on the usage of Automation Anywhere, with an experienced user the tool is perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating of different things which saves us a lot of time and use the time on doing other productive things.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere isn't the right tool to go for. Though needs can vary, this tool so far hasn't met our desires.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't stop complaining about Automation Anywhere, configuring it is way too hectic that you cam fear using it there after.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The free trial enabled us to realize high ROI as we never subscribed.

What do you like best about the product?
The AA tool is one of the better automation tools I have had the opportunity to use. I have tried other related programs and it is truly astonishing - the capability to work together with virtually any software on your laptop has something awesome. Even debugging is actually supported by every litter of development. Seriously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The assistance can be much better. Additionally, online instruction focuses on product info, not on practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm uses AA to automate heavy processes, automating simple value added tasks and freeing up materials and time for some other value added tasks.
