Easy learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Governance capabilities, SAAS, easy of use for users with business process experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rigid licensing model for scaling your license. It's not possible to share attended bots license either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been working with Automation Anywhere since last year and despise the "selling" conversation, we found out that developing RPA really is relatively easy for users with process design experience. Our learning curve have been of a few months before we could put our first robot on production. Then we started to see performance improving up to 90% only automating tasks, without process redesign. Our team took Automation Anywhere courses and certifications and now our target is to create our center of excellence to be able to scale our RPA program.
The most difficult part of implementing an RPA program was selling it inside but when our colleagues started to see the results, they saw a whole new world of opportunities.
In our case it was easier to implement RPA at operations but now we are starting to planning bring it to administrative tasks where we see a lot of manual and repetitive tasks. We will achieve our ideal world when every business unit and area have implemented RPA projects, leaded by their own key users. We don't expect that take too long, is part of our vision for next year and the reason why we will create our CoE this year.
RPA is not something from future, it is a reality and I strong believe that in five years it will be common to have robots doing the mundane tasks inside our companies. Implementing it now put us on a privileged position, ahead of our competitors.

Create a multi-faceted team, with business process expertise and create a really good business case to sell it up. At the beginning, it could be hard to people to understand RPA, we need to evangelize, be patient and show benefits as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend proof of concept and pilots from day one.

I use another tool in Colombia, but I can say that automation anywhere is most pówerful than another similars,
With good knowledge is easy to use, is so fast at the moment to create bots, contains many information on web.

AA - a best start to RPA!
What do you like best about the product?
There are a plenty for options available in Automation Anywhere, I have used other RPA tools also but I didn't find a variety of options like this. Especially, when are new to RPA - AA will be the best platform. You be a Java developer, SQL developer or whatever, you will easily understand the functionality of AA. Finally the best part is community edition, you can take your days and learn slowly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tutorial videos are not much effective. Video required for variety of issues. It would be more useful if image recognition is available. At least a image comparison functionality is needed, which will be very useful in identifying a dashboard images, graphical images or even a icon or a picture that describes the category of a product or item.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have just started with Automation Anywhere. The best part in AA is keyboard inputs and mouse inputs can also be recorded and implemented in bots. Even to get a value from file or mail, I don't need much code its as simple as few lines in AA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will definitely recommend to use AA, you can get the best in RPA and obviously its very easy to start with.

What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot many things which I personally like about Automation Anywhere tool but to keep it short and simple I would like to mention a few of them which I use in my day to day life for my current and my previous project in my company.
The ability and simplicity to create automation bots in order to achieve the day to day repetitive and manual tasks in my project is the best and my favorite feature from Automation Anywhere tool.
I can even schedule the bots creates using my Android application from my smartphone and upon job completion it is very easy to view the reports and results and to check out the failure results and the root cause for each jobs failure saves a lot of my time.
The linking compatibility of Automation Anywhere tool with several other tools available in the market is another cherry on top of the cake.

In my aspect if there was any chance with which a community edition can be made available for the community that would have literally solve the issue.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a wonderful automation tool for beginners. I never used any automation tool, just started my automation journey with this, having list of commands to easily access the tool features for example window actions, mouse click and automate excel. It's a scalable, secure RPA tool. It's a summation of cognitive automation, robotic process automation and work force automation. It's free trial addition is also available for trail. It's a complete automation tool which is feel very useful for all the industry to fulfill their requirement. its feature like logging, scheduling task, using filters, debugging task and most important adding triggers are very useful. Adding triggers is very useful for all the industry now days to revert mails by reading automatically . Most of the industry still deploy a workforce for reading customer emails and revert them individually. Debugging task is also I found wonderful as it ease the issue analysis and resolution. I will definitely try to explore more to enhance my knowledge on automation, which is current a hot skill in the IT industry.

As a techie I am always interested to understand a tool at code level, I feel developer option for more customization but not very easily understandable.

Used Looing an right now exploring adding triggers for auto revert of mails for group insurance users.

The logic and the interactions with 3rd party applications provides the scalability and flexibility of the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There should be detailed and descriptive materials available for a layman to learn AA from scratch and build his/her own bot. The quality of materials and references provided only provide an overview of basic operations and techniques.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are addressing Healthcare Processes with above average complexity and trying to automate the same using task bots. Benefits range from 20% to 55% improvement over cycle times and hence FTEs released is calculated.

Always look at singular tasks in a certain process and then look at the opportunity for automation. Rest assured, AA will give you the results you want.

This is same regarding Automation Anywhere tool. I can't same that I dislike it but rather I will call it as areas of improvement.
