What do you like best about the product?

I liked the wide range of controls available in Automation Anywhere to work on different systems. It's capability to plugin scripts , helped us to automate critical processes. After upgrading to AAE v11 ,we are able to create more reusable components using metabots where we have more controls than earlier.

What do you dislike about the product?

Beside all these good features, object cloning fuctionality could be much stable and robust especially on web applications.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have developed many bots using Automation Anywhere. If we broadly categorize these bots, categories are : 1) Daily monitoring bots and 2) Service Request based bots.
We have many monitoring jobs done by different teams in their area. We have tried to automate most of these daily jobs.And these bots are saving a good amount of man hour.
We have also automated few processes which we get through service requests. Some of these requests used to take 8-12 hours to complete manually.Now bot is processing these requests.

What do you like best about the product?

1. Working with excel sheets and mails is the best functionality to use.
2. Very helpful in automating desktop and browser applications.
3. Flexible and easy to learn
4. Automation Anywhere provides great support for our queries.
5. Flexibility of handling database
6. IQ Bot gives has very good functionality of how you can actually take unstructured data and then making the data available to the user.
7. Training documents videos are good

What do you dislike about the product?

Not able to create customize command in AA

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

1. Reading the excel without opening the excel sheet using Database commands.
2. Easy to automate web applications by recorder.
3. Reading text from pdf document
4. Extracting table from browser and maintaining log for the same.

What do you like best about the product?

Automation anywhere is very friendly to use, even with basic knowledge of computer programing you can be an expert, BOTs are very easy to deploy and automationanywhere can be used in any buisness area,
It has been an amazing journey so far with Automation Anywhere , The tool has amazing visual capacity and specially PDF reader is an example of how much effort has been put in to build this tool.

What do you dislike about the product?

Automation anywhere queue structure can be improved, Multi BOT architecture is very difficult to implement, Control- Room reports can be a little bit tweaked for BOT time-span, so that an end user with little knowledge of tool can understand the process

We are currently reforming telecom with Automation anywhere Digital solution
Automation anywhere was a huge success for the client and they are happy with the speed of BOTs and deployment mechanism

Get to know the standards of implementation
Coding standard must be implemented as it is a very important thing that has not been consider by most of the developer

Ease of development, training, available bots for reuse

What do you dislike about the product?

Confusion around version 2019 vs v.11. I was not able to make v2019 cloud based trial environment in my laptop. The errors I got were not self explanatory, nor answered in the community properly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I just tried for demo purposes. I am planning to test other RPA solutions to see which one is the best.

What do you like best about the product?

The best thing in Automation Anywhere it's very easy to use and understandable compared to other tool RPA tools in the markets. And mostly all tasks are done with the help of provided commands in Automation Anywhere.

What do you dislike about the product?

I have seen most of the commands which Automation Anywhere doesn't have. But UiPath have all the commands which makes works easy and feasible.

I am mentioning the points which Automation Anywhere should provide in the community edition.

1. Data Table command which are not available like Build Data Table, Filter Data Table, Remove Column, Add Row there are many sun-commands which are really useful and important to automate daily task. If you can see this command is available in UiPath.

2. As far I have seen in Automation Anywhere most of the commands are not available. Like Get Text, Get Attribute, Get Position, Get OCR. Only we have single command Object Cloning which most of the time not working.

3. Selection of selectors is quite difficult and confusion. If you see same in UiPath it's very-2 easy and reliable. UiPath provides the big window to select the selector of any elements.

4. Automation Anywhere doesn't have the command like Path Exist, Element Exist, Folder Exist, Image Exist in UiPath separate commands are giving and very easy to use instead to use in Automation Anywhere.

5. I want to see Exist Element command in Automation Anywhere this activity is available in UiPath I considered this is the most important activity to automate.

6. Retry Scope command is not there like ex. If I want to click a button multiple time till is click the right button.

7. Select items command is not available like in a drop down menu we can directly select the particular item which we need to select.

8. I want to see the more options in click command, like click image, click text, click button.

9. I want to see a one command which directly kill the process.

10. A2019 Web based community edition is very slow while executing and not comfortable and reliable to use. It's quite difficult to use and understand the command name and now they have changed the name of most of the command, It's more workflow wise. I love UiPath they have made this in a organized way which very simple to use and implement.

I want to see if Automation Anywhere make the development studio like UiPath.

This are not dislike points I want Automation Anywhere need to improve a lot in their product. As a developer I have put my own point what are the things which really Automation Anywhere needs to improve.

A2019 Web based community edition is very slow while executing and not comfortable to use. Quite difficult implement in real time project. Totally changes in Desktop version command but n web based workflow why?

First choice is UiPath second is Automation Anywhere. Because UiPath is very easy and almost all the activities are available in studio to automate any task.

What do you like best about the product?

Since I am a developer itself(Master certified in RPA), I know how RPA helps in saving a lot of time and human errors. Not only it saves time and human errors but also the return of investment is much larger than expected. What your employee can do it in 1-2 hours the RPA robot will do it in less than a minute. Now,obviously it depends on business to business. I have done defence projects where the client was so impressed that not only it saved the time but also the return of investment was much quicker than expected. The best part is you can deploy the RPA on their server(Control room) and you can schedule it in any time of the day and 'n' number of times. RPA is the best thing that has happened which eliminates the human errors.

What do you dislike about the product?

Since I have worked with 2 projects and 3 POC's (Proof of concept) there is no dislike from my side as such as I enjoy creating the RPA bot for the business process. I hate the testing part which I think every developer hates it i.e. not only in RPA but also in Java,python etc. Anyways I don't think there is any thing to dislike

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem with defence project was its dynamic website i.e. the domx path changed everytime we clicked a new button but it was resolved the very same day because AA has a lot of ways to figure these things out which I though was the best thing. As I have mentioned the benefits are time consumption,Return of investment, Elimination of human error,faster service,Reduced costs etc,

You should definitely go for AA RPA as it is the best thing to have happened in the automation industry.

Automation anywhere is the fastest RPA tool I have ever used, especially the control room and IQ bots features are very helpful

e covered process automation using various features of the Automation Anywhere tool and IQ bot creation. The session has been very effective to the domain I currently am engaged. The tool and control has wide features are very user friendly and simple for clients to run a demo or implement

Community edition should have all the features for a definite window for the user to experience all the features thoroughly

TAT around invoice processing; Everyday mundane task such as standard documentation and elimination of multiple steps in daily BAU

almost everything is cool with you but training on IQ bot is sometimes tedious and their output may also need human correction

we have been recuireting employess for a job and we have used automation anywhere solution to send an email for shorlisted applicants
In our organization there is a bot that can reset office 365 password. employess send an email to the bot and the bot can reset theri password using admin credential
we used it to automate our AD server like creating a user in AD,
reseting password for AD USERS
we use it for bank statement reconcilation

we have developed a bot that can help us while recuring an employee the bot helped us collecting employees cv.

we have a bot that help us in making an invoice. the bot bot read all invoices and convert all these invoice in to one excel file.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The best RPA software I have ever seen. It is very easy to deploy and start working with. The script used to write the code for the bot is much more easy and clear. The classification of bots into task bot, meta bot, and IQ bot is an interesting thing helping the bot developer to decide on which bot he should implement the given automation process.
