we are doing the excel automation and PDF extraction .that is our company has best experience of using Automation Anywhere tool usage.while PDF extraction Part using IO BOT one of the best Part in automation anywhere .we are seeing the lot of automation tool like uipath and blue prism but automation anywhere IQ

The simplicity of the program is such that anyone with medium level of excel formula knowledge or logic reasoning can develop a bot . I have done it so i know , it does work . There are timely upgrades to products and not just technical but functionally as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to ease of use , there is dependency on product and at times , for some advanced functionality , you really need a consultant, which should not be the case .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier the focus was on pure transactional issues of Procure to pay , order to cash but later have used it for consolidation of accounts , GST availment , and latest is a treasury bot which mimics the investment steps.This has not only increased efficiency but also accuracy of data from system . Plus the reliability to clear any backlog is icing on the cake.

I like the powerful and diverse options provided by Automation Anywhere to accomplish process automatization in our business.
I also appreciate the methodology implemented by Automation Anywhere to standardize and formalize the process of automating itself. This helps to keep track of business goals and success.

What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation is not concise, complete nor well organized:
- Most of the text is to tell how wonderful Automation Anywhere is, although it is true, when its mentioned in every single paragraph of the documentation, it becomes tedious and frustrating.
- Much information is redundant and not helpful, like "The red button is available for whenever you want to push the red button". The missing information is about what would be the results of pushing or not pushing the red button and what scenarios are likely to for the red button for being pushed.
- There are many circular references within the documentation: Many paragraphs contain links to definitions, which is not bad, but in that explanation brings you to another link, and so on, until you get lost in the documentation.
- Most of the text is to tell how wonderful Automation Anywhere is, although it is true, when its mentioned in every single paragraph of the documentation, it becomes tedious and frustrating.

Quite a high level of usability, both for the business user and the technical user. It features a fairly comprehensive training platform and ease of access to certifications.

So far, AA has covered all the needs we have had in the organization, which makes it quite favorable for use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assistants have been configured, ranging from backend process automation to the use of assisted bots; constructions in different technologies such as terminals, web, and desktop applications have been resolved.

It is a tool that meets current needs in RPA topics and is constantly evolving at the pace of new technologies, which allows for greater reach in process automation.

What do you like best about the product?
I am learning this software from past 8 months months and it is going well. its make my job easy in-terms of time. The job which usually take one day can be done with in an hour. Really it is wonderful. By Automation anywhere any company can save their time and money.
What do you dislike about the product?
I created some program in old version and then after few month the company lunched the new version i.e through cloud and all the code written is not working in the new version of software.

I liked the quantities of possibilities to work with several tools, like, APIs, OCR, and some other Java applications, really reliable to errors
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not so friendly to share the expertise with non-technical people, only people with good knowledge on automation will be able to understand the tool first time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits that I realized are the security possibilities and some functionalities for code that I do not see on other RPA tools, and when we talk about senior developer that already have some knwoledge on automation the tool is easy to manage
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation Anywhere is very amazing and user friendly tool. I think there are a lot to improve regarding guides to not technical people, like Blue prism does, but for people that has a technical background is a powerful software specially to work with more complex projects for example that uses OCR and some other JAVA applications. I think that it also have some space for improvements on the user activities recording functionality, since it fail a lot for some test that I've created and this is something that I'm not sure that help users, maybe some basic objects for some functionalities would also help. Well on overall it was a great experience and I recommend all developers to dig on this tool website and sources and learn more about it and it power. One other thing that I would suggest is to explore more on robot sharing , like how we would share the robot release with other developers, I faced some issues on that to share my robot components with some other co-workers and how they can re-use my developed automation. I'm not sure how much does it cost for a new enterprise to acquire a license for automation anywhere since here on IBM we have a a contract and I'm using the license provided by the company. At this point I would also suggest to kind of facilitate to small companies to contact you guys to have some information related to cost. I know some people that would like to add something like this on the scope, but due to the size of the company the cost would be a problem
Great tool to empower non-IT workers!
What do you like best about the product?
I have enjoyed learning about Automation Anywhere and building bots because I feel empowered to make changes in my organization. Previously, this type of work was restricted to our more technical folks however, this slowed down any enhancements because of their heavy workload. Being able to build and deploy bots allows me to help my department and division (Talent Management) be more effective and spend their time on more rewarding work rather than tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don't have a background in coding and your bots require working on different websites, it can be a learning curve on how to troubleshoot issues. In addition, the community can tend to be very IT heavy and use technical terms that I may not be familiar. It might be helpful to separate engineers and business owners for more engagement.

We are solving a huge pain in healthcare, running verifications for providers. This can be quite timely and is a daily process for us. Benefits for us- by building bots that can get this verifications, our employees can check for any red flags more carefully. We've calculated that by building 3 bots we are giving an FTE 78% of their capacity back to focus on more impactful work.

Automation Anywhere is a wonderful tool and is going to be adding a ton of value to our organization by allowing employees to work on more impactful work rather than tedious repeating tasks. By allowing business users to build on their platform and not making this focused on engineers, organizations have the ability to enhance their culture.

AA is very useful for RPA. I utilized IQ bot capabilities for invoice elements recognition and I am very satisfied with the result!

At first I have disliked the interface and drag and drop option however I found its usability after I used the platform for a period of time

I have total 3 year of experience in automation anywhere application development.
What do you like best about the product?
Rapid RPA development framework. Which can be use to automate any daily manually carried out repeated task. Ease of simpleness of these tool make it learn fast and implement the functionality.It is much easy to save effort spent on manually doing repeated task . instead of that one can use that manpower for any other integrative work so one can utilize his own time and skill more proactively. Besides this automation anywhere provide simplified set of command so that any one can carry out automation of any of the web pr window application.
What do you dislike about the product?
We cannot say there is limitation as they are developing there tool as they came up with many advance facility in version 11 compare to version 10. But still it require some modification like there should must have command like go to line ,to check weather there is any open connection before closing it for excel database connection. In some scenario of web application object cloning command of automation anywhere does not work properly like in case of java application we are not able to capture all the objects application so there is need to improve it.
