Automation Anywhere: one of the best solution for RPA
What do you like best about the product?
The suite provided by Automation Anywhere: they provide a tool for RPA, a tool for tracking activities and an OCR tool. It's a 360 degrees Process Digital Transformation solution.
Compared to other solution it seems to be the most enterprise oriented solution.
Also Gartner and Forrester say that automation anywhere is one of the best solution on the market

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes new features are not tested very well before the release and there are several bugs. However, Automation Anywhere releases several bug fixing versions during a year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to automate serveral processes very quickly without the need of the IT department. The cost of automate a single process is much more cheaper than create a custom software. Furthermore, it allow us to integrate old software (like ibm3270 terminal emulator) wirh web application (this is very common in Banking environment).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think that currently Automation Anywhere is the best solution for RPA. There are some weakness but I think that in the future versions they'll be fixed.
The best thing is the Bank-grade security and the control room that allow to control anything from a single portal.
A couple of moths ago they released the new A2019 version that is full web so no more client need to be installed.
IQ Bot (the OCR tool of Automation Anywhere) is very useful because it can be used by people with low it skills since there is no code necessity to train the ocr.

Automation on the Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
Best feature would be the vision of Automation Anywhere to move the development and deployment over the cloud. Automation Anywhere planned with A2019 as a product, keeping in mind that automation on the cloud is the next step for the ease of implementation of automation in the various organizations and various departments. AARI is the new feature which is definitely taking automation to next level.

THe product release with few missing features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving problems for our customers who have their most of ERP and CRM activities over the cloud and which are highly repetitive in nature with the mundane nature . They have realized tons of benefits along with the quicker ROI when we speak about the bot insight.

With the given product A2019, Automation Anywhere is moving in the right direction. Ease of implmenetation, development, hosting capabilities over the cloud and on-premise along with the flavour of IQ bot to process the dark data is a way ahead in procurement, finance, sales, accounting, data entry, digital document processing and any other area for the scope of automation with A2019 Automation Anywhere.
The feature of Automation Anywhere are highly likely and compliant in terms of data security and IT autdits perspective.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to learn and easy to develop .any one who has basic knowledge of programming can develop .The latest control room update is very interesting after queues which can pick next available machine to run next record which will help you for time efficiency .There is automatic feature which can give error description and take error screen shot when we enable which is very interesting and helpful to develop the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the license is little more when compared to other tools.and the trail version is just for 30 days but also not included all the features which are available in full edition.It would be great if there is a chance of creating and accessing metabot and IQBOT as well for trail version for better understanding and learning for beginners.the usage of METABOT is unknown for the beginners as we are not having access

we have automated excel operation to do filters and extracting or copying data from one excel to another excel .Automating PDF's to highlight keywords or extract words from PDF.exporting different kinds of files from web portals and automating those files accordingly.automating Web portal by using object cloning and webrecorder.SAP automation has done by DLL in METABOT

As automation anywhere is easy to learn and easy to automate or develop.any one who has basic knowledge of programming language or flow diagrams can easily develop the code to automate according to their need.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere helps a lot for automating several business processes and daily repetitive tasks which helps several users for getting accurate results and high performance while compared to human.
What do you dislike about the product?
Identifying the Errors is little bit tough need to make a easy way for debugging the code
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After automating my process by using Automation Anywhere now we are getting more desired results and errors has been reduced and we got 3 to 4 hours grace period while the bot is performing the task .
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As per my knowledge AA was most powerful Automation tool in RPA due to several inbuilt features and now it was integrated to cloud so we can access it from anywhere when required so the best tool for automating our processes. It has a feature like Bot insight in which we have all the details like the bots which already performed the task in daily basis. Need to get more improvement on DLL's .

What do you like best about the product?
The New A2019 Automation Anywhere is Could bases Application ,that means we can operate anyplace and anywhere with username and password same like Gmail.And just to install an Robot Agent (2MB) and run easily.Dual View was present in A2019. Launch IQ BOT was awesome in Automation Anywhere. Easily to Connect other devices in My Device Panels. Maintain Credentials are easy compare to UIpath.
What do you dislike about the product?
Finding some activities like Typing and clicking event and Still i not find event or activity to click on hided drop down. Guidance and awareness was not updated in forum and Google because it showing the older version videos and procedures.
Main thing Data Scrapping was not available in A2019 Automation Anywhere.
503 Service Temporarily Unavailable these types are errors getting frequently.(Now also getting the same 503 Error).
For Loading the dependencies is taking more time for every run.
Run time error was showing at line number but not mentioning the accurate problem of flow.
Maintenance was poor compare to UIpath......

we were working having a document approval system where we are having lot of manual process and some of which are redundant so want automate it using automation anywhere

Earlier using UIPath and found Automation Anywhere can be more powerful with the OCR and Bots scheduling

Complexity of implementing Work queues can be worked upon.

We have automated SAP related invoice business problems and I would say it's very efficient way to reduce the work load.
Also, we implemented IBMS process, which requires creation of Campaign ID's into the respective application, which can be used as advertisements for one of our clients.
The best part of using Automation anywhere is its ease of creating workflows with the help of in built utilities, whether its sending emails, SAP utilities, creating reports, working on Excel sheets etc.

Its a great tool which has the all the required capability to reduce manual workforce and it works efficiently with all sorts of Front end & back end office applications and databases.

It gives us loads of opportunities to automate frustratingly manual processes, yielding benefits which help us effectively run the organisation. The recent announcement of the Discovery Bot is quite exciting, looking forward to working more with AA.
