Automation Anywhere has taken RPA to next level
What do you like best about the product?
With the latest version of Automation Anywhere A2019 the automation bar has been raised. With it's cloud friendly architecture and independence from operating systems, scalability and enterprise wide adoption is not a dream anymore. Moreover with many new packages introduced for ease of coding allows the developer community to imagine and develop solutions without limitations. Introduction of dictionary and handling of data tables has improved the ease around challenges from previous versions which are still a concern for few RPA tools.Upcoming integration with Microsoft suite especially in Excel can be foreseen as an aggresive step towards taking RPA to a next level for end business users and making it BAU for the wider organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are few features like workload management that are still in the roadmap for the latest version which makes it difficult to pitch for a customer where they are looking to engage immediately. While it can be easily pitched to a customer who has an intent to start 3-6 months from now.
Also there is no clear information available around how the existing customers on V11 can be migrated to A2019 or what is the roadmap around migration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Have implemented Automation Anywhere for multiple clients and have seen consistent benefits in terms of FTE reduction, Error Reduction, RSI Index, satisfactory ROIs etc. Have seen decent results with IQ BOT as well along with the features and capabilities that it offers to extract data. Have seen great results for two insurance customers where end to end process automation was achieved and all the process related heavy lifting has been catered by Automation Anywhere BOTs. Seeing a lot of traction by a number of clients asking for Automation Anywhere because of proven capability and clear outcomes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really important ot map the organization requirements with the available features in AA and the ability of the tool to cater to the IT ecosystem.

Automation Anywhere as we all are aware is a developer of RPA which deploys bots to complete the process with minimum human interference. Also, it reduces the time taken to meet the processing, thus creating smart bots to perform various tasks in different businesses. The understanding of RPA is quite simple as it requires no programming language but the logic to record point/click and record actions.
1. It is simple to generate tasks with the help of AA by dragging items from the toolbox.
2.We can employ bots to execute a workflow or a routine on loop along with its alternatives.
3.AA can be used to generate and print reports to evaluate the execution of certain tasks.
4.Supports centralized backup and security and disaster recovery along with web data extraction, image recognition and OCR.
5. It can also be collaborated with the cloud infrastructure if necessary in the environment.
Hence, with all these tools, Automation Anywhere is a powerful tool simplifying lives across multiple barriers on technology grounds.

Some of the cons for the AA are --
1. needs to upgrade in Excel command areas and operations performed there.
2.Setting up the AA tool is a little cumbersome process.
3.Need accuracy in capturing details from an image.
4.It has no workflow design.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our environment we have reduced a lot of manual work via implementing Automation Anywhere along with a lot of human time wasted. This has resulted in greater output and efficiency and also time on human hands to focus on other project needs. Automation Anywhere is faster, time saving and chances of error are also reduced.

What do you like best about the product?
As we are all into the cloud these days, probably they are the only cloud-native RPA. It's easy to use due to a web-based performance and it also comes with AI. Which makes the automation work much faster than the others. This RPA also comes with bank-grade security which makes it a lot safer to use. And the support team is always there to help if you are stuck anywhere. This makes you feel that we are building the right automation.
The best part is the RPA allows automating batch jobs with out doing any coding. So anyone with the knowledge of the process can use this. And we also have 30 days free trail for us. Which helped us to decide whether to go for this product or not. The UI is great to work with. However, a dynamic UI would make this a much more smart.

The only thing that is coming to mind is the documentation part. AA should provide more documents online. Also, I would like to see third party integration with less difficulty. A more nonvolatile bot will help us provide better results.

With AA RPA, we were able to get rid of doing repeated jobs every day. The bot takes care of doing it for us, which saved a huge amount of time for our developers and support staff.

The handwriting scan of IQBOT is not upto the mark & thus requires improvision

I have started with IQBOT for scanning hard copy invoices & creating the same into system.
For personal use, i have also created a bot using taskbot which will assist me shopping online for my desired product with the best features & cheapest cost
