What do you like best about the product?
Automation anywhere software is a straightforward tool to automate stuff. Fundamental requirements are there to run the software. It also provides free learning course, so that a person can acquire the skills to use the benefits of this software.
RPA is open-source software and it is available for all the users
Drag and drop option available makes it easier to use and order commands, which makes it user-friendly
A very highlighted and useful feature of this software is that we can automate the process that we normally do in daily life.
An exciting feature is that it allows you to analyze and predict the bot performance, which is very beneficial if you are working with many bots.

The processing and execution of the task are just a little bit slow.
It lacks remote access feature, but all this can be improved by software updates.
Working with excel sheets with this software can sometimes get buggy.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To copy and paste a table from the websites for a data set to work. The benefit of using this software is that it made my work very simple and easy.
Using this tool for data entry processes has helped me a lot to save my time and manual work. This also has reduced error in my work.

Great tool for automation. The best Robotic Process Automation platform available. It almost provide all the functionalities for bot creation with minimal human effort.

What do you like best about the product?
The best I have noticed is its usage and applicability on windows and web based processes.
Natural language and unstructured data processing mechanism. The concept of Automating PDF and image documents in IQ bots is phenomenal. The usage of Meta bots for complex processes is very clean and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Excel seems to be not so smooth.
OCR effectiveness is not noticed in AA. A bit costlier but I think the competitions makes it out-stand anyways.
Control room management is bit tough looking at role based access etc.
Machine connectivity breaks at times making it unstable to an extent,.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have started doing sample and test bots but we recently got a deal with a big client for automating their IT using AA.
HR, Finance and day in day out IT services are being automated for them.
I see a large scope for AA going ahead.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have personally had interaction only twice along with my onshore peers.
1st was with Mae Chang about v11 environment setup &
2nd was with one of the support engineer who helped on solving the control room blank screen error.
So far so good.
Use and feel the ease of automation.
I have been using Automic and UIPath since last 2 years but I think AA has swept off the market with a bigger wave.
I am sure AA is pretty stable.
Now that its on its own frame work, I am positive on the stability. At any point of time, I would preferably suggesting to stick to the initial platform and framework that people like the most providing an overall package.
I foresee its market looking at its project captures.
For me, working on UIPath and automic since long time, I feel this is more comfortable looking at the in-built templates and control room features. I would still re-articulate and say to start using it and we will see its ease of usage.
For people who have worked on applications like Uipath this would be more easier to pick up and its the best automation tool as I look at it.
Although the concept of attended and unattended bots are same like uipath, the difference of play is very clearly seen in AA.
Scalability is always a sensitive topic when it comes to RPA at the first point.
For me I look at it as availability in simple terms. The scalability factor has to be stretched to an extent where availability is never compromised.
At the same time a non comprising environment for sure.
Scheduling methodology is fantastic and very easy to use.
Sequencing mechanism is very neat when compared to application like UIPath. The concept of Creater and Runner is pretty nice to understand the roles.
The control room mechanism of role based access is very cool to handle. Although it looks a bit tougher but the concept is pretty good and safe. When comes to audits etc this would stand out for sure on safety guidelines.

It's user friendly and incredibly easy to understand

The command library is sort of limited but it'll be much better with the upcoming update

The largest number of processes that I have implemented have been in the area of finance, we have achieved great benefits, users now have more time to innovate so they are more comfortable with their work

The best thing you can find about AA is that it enables business users, with basic knowledge on coding, making real Bots with it's own use cases, with basic training on the tool.
Also, with all the tools that AA have to offer to the end customer, it may solve a wide range of problems that a company could find day to day.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the way the bot shows an error. It shows you a screenshot of the momment, but maybe it could give the user more information about how is the error and possible solutions, more than just the line of code where it fails.

Identify use cases for attend problems that actually have the organizations, and how AA could help them to obtain better solution both levels qualitative and quantitative.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good practice to log-in into Automation Anywhere University, it's a great place to find information and capacitation about the tool, and also, about the knowledge related to RPA that make you a better user, more informed and more capable for attend the challenges that your company may have.
Practice a lot. It's important to work with the tool, mantain at day the knowledge obtained about the tool.
Finally, if you have the opportunity to assist to events, webinars, capacitations, do it, because is another way to obtain knowledge. You can break the barrier of your own understanding and maybe solve prolems that you have faced, but maybe not have solved yet.

By Far the Best Automation Tool

1. I like the simple design layout, best suited and easy for programmers like me.

1. I don't like the way it operates. Kinda little slower than other tools. (I felt personally)

The great problem i solved was pdf reading, which was not possible (atleast not properly possible) by other tools.

Automation anywhere is one stop solution for all your enterprise automation needs,
though it may seem RPA is not doing well from the outside, automation anywhere has its own market and stand as it compensates the disadvantages experienced by other tools.
For example, Native PDF OCR reading, Schedule run, ease of use recording features - different screen recording options for different types of applications.
Excellent citrix automation is another plus point in Automation Anywhere, where Blue Prism or UI path struggles a lot. I'm not against Blue Prism and UI Path, as i have already worked on them as well.
But Automation anywhere has its standpoints when compared with the automation features !

It allowed our team to start automating administrative repetitive tasks using bots. Those tasks are business-critical as they are requisite for invoicing, so we cannot avoid them, they are boring and requires precision; if an amount does not match then escalations comes immediately.

The training material does not include transcription which would be very helpful when studying.

We plan for freeing managers from repetitive tasks which are also business-critical.

Try to get a Community Account in order for your team to practice, it makes the setup easier.

What do you like best about the product?
Object cloning feature of Automation Anywhere. Excel commands are easy to use. PDF integration is efficient feature which saves time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Looping in Automation anywhere is not easy due one line per command. similarly the IF logic start and end is difficult to trace if working on code developed by other developers.

It seems to be very easy but you have to be careful on the processes definition and the AA commands to used to automate. Expertise is relevant.
Not liking the coexisting of 2 different versions that are not linked between them. I think AA should take a desition and if the right version is A2019, set a plan to move all the v11.3 client to the new software.

AA is mostly used on Finance, specifically on the Accounting department.

Go through this with an AA partner. It seems to be very easy but is isnt. Anyway, there some tips and tricks to make the road easier.
