Using Automation Anywhere's tool we can automate window and Web based processes. Very easy in use.

Set up for the tool is a little complex and the commands are slightly antiquated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation Anywhere is well suited in automating those processes which involve a lot of unstructured data like images and pdfs. For example, in processing the invoices in the Accounts and Admin department, Automation Anywhere would be of great utility.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere tool is completely built on the .Net Frame Work it supports multiple browsers and application it is very developer friendly tool. there are many inbuilt commands in the tool for files,folders email and Excel and many other commands for different applications which made the development easier and simple. using the tool we work on the citrix automation and image recognition with the help of OCR engine.also we can read write and log into the text and log files and there is command called work load where we can insert the work item and set the work item results.using XML command we can automate the API service. Automation Anywhere tool supports both attended and unattended bots we can run through the control room using bot runner. using IQ bots we can work on the complex PDF documents and extract the data very easily and we can pass the .net DLL for Meta bots, for code re- use. overall it is very good tool with high performance and ROI
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the tool Automation Anywhere it is very difficult to automate the application present on the virtual machine and result will not be accurate and working on the Unstructured data is difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are using the Automation Anywhere tool for automating the clients business process which is related to finance and IT returns, like extracting the data from the Employee tax form and comparing it with Data base we automated the entire process with the single bot. which saved lots of time and resources

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is very user friendly RPA tool. there are around 700 pules commands which we can make use for the Automation. there are commands related for Excel,Email,PDF,Files and folders which makes the automation very easy. also we can run the Macros and VB scripts for complex task. we can develop both attended and unattended bots. Both web and windows applications can be automated using the tool and using the control room. we can schedule the bots very easily and very helpful for storing the credentials and keeping the code backup in the Repository assign the task for Bot runner is very simple.we can also automate the Batch files using the run file command, there are many commands which are helpful for UI automation . And object cloning is known as heart of the Automation Anywhere we can use for bot web and windows applications, for Main Frame applications we can use Terminal Emulator command.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the Automation Anywhere tool we can extract the data with 100% accuracy for Scanned PDF using Inbuilt OCR engine and using Regex is very difficult for Complex Excel and Email Automation we should run the script, there very less options in Excel and Email automation. other than this there are no issues with the tool. Performance of the tool is very good compare to other tools in the market
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation Anywhere tool helped a lot for automating the structured data through files and folders,FTP and data base and sending the email notification with handling all unknown exceptions.

What do you like best about the product?
Its an amazing tool with which we can automate most of the manual tasks which require time and resource. With a little investment in this tool can get us amazing benefits and assured ROI. We can automate many daily tasks like sending emails, generating reports, data entry with this tool. Its accuracy is great and its very much fast when compared with human task. We can automate web applications, windows application with this tool. We can integrated this with other tools for scanning manual PDFs and extract required data using bot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have observed little difference in results while working on citrix servers, data fetched have some discrepancy which is very minute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for many projects in our company. Ours is a healthcare company, we will be dealing with data entry works like medical bills and transcriptions to enter in to our system. With help of this tool we have automated these tasks, like we created a bot where it download attachments from the email and and uploads the data in to database, runs a query. This reduced processing time to 90% and we could use our FTE for other works. We have various options/ commands in this tool inbuilt we can use it while creating a bot. regular Knowledge sharing sessions are conducted by these guys when ever there is a new update or feature has been implemented.

Automation Anywhere WOW tool for Automation
What do you like best about the product?
It is a nice platform, it very simple and helpful for no coding background users like me, drag and drop comments are very easy to use. with the finance background and experience have got an opportunity to attend one week session in Automation Anywhere tool and now i have completed the Advanced certification in Automation Anywhere. BOT store is one of the added advantage were you can view and download the BOT or we can upload the reusable BOTS.
What do you dislike about the product?
Terminal Emulator was one of the major challenge but not it has been rectified in the previous release. one of the major challenge is Excel limitations, most of the business process will use excel functions, because of this limitations we are forced to use Key strokes which is not the best practice in coding, More excel features needs to be included in the upcoming releases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business processes are being automated using Automation Anywhere tool, Quality and Productivity are to 2 major benefits which we have realized till now. since i am not into top level management team have no idea on financial benefits realized.

"It is a nice platform, it very simple and helpful for no coding background users. Though it has excel limitations which is not sufficient. It is recommended to fix the above issue in the next version release. "

3) You can trigger bots as and when required - for overnight execution, day time execution, etc.
4) The best part is the newly launched mobile app (Android) from which you can trigger your bots at any point of time - which no other tools provide.

According to me below are the points which I think are worth to work on:
1) For newcomers, the debugging part is quite difficult.
2) Automation Anywhere doesn't allow you to automate anything on a virtual machine, we need to have a physical machine.

1) In our project we have initially worked on creating bots for the repititive tasks which used to take lot of time.
2) We have also automated the scrapping elements from our website.
3) The best part was the the smartphone app (Android) - which helped us a lot to trigger bots as and when required.
4) We have added all respective stakeholders in the email list so that all are on the same page about the status of bots - email functionality provided by Automation Anywhere when execution of bots gets completed.

What do you like best about the product?
Basically automation has made ever thing easier for humans and more accurate as it is been done by computers there are very few chances of any error .it also helps in doing thing faster as in a proper manner as it has an uniform method of handling things which makes every thing easier and faster. we dont have be present at that place to get the work done as we just have to start it and direct it properly and the rest is been done by the computers. it has improved our overall productivity and decreased the pressure from the humans and has also helped bussinesses in cost cutting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automation has dimineshed the need of humans as evrything has now become automated which has eventually resulted into unemployment which will at the end result into fall in economy . as it has its own default settings it might not handle every thing as some times we has human may have to take certains actions so as to handle different situations . At the end it has to be checked by the humans before submiting as it may have errors which computer may not identify
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we dont have to be present at the place to get a particular work done , we can just order the computer and adjust it accordingly and it we do it automatically with out being at that place . and also it corrects itself accourding to the needs what we has set. Its has bassically made every thing easier for us
