Best tool for Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere has the below features:
We can clone the object both statically and dynamically to capture the web objects.
It has more than 500 commands to automate.
we can integrate with different application like SAP, Oracle and all ERP systems.
we can capture the data from all structured and unstructured data from different documents with using Inbult OCR Engines
we have strong features with taskbot, metabot and IQBOT.
with IQBOT we can use ML Or AI Tech to teach the BOT to create Learning bots.

We need to have strong coding Knowledge to write the code .
the trial version is only limited upto 30 days.

One of the Best RPA Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the interface o Automation Anywhere. It is easy to use and develop. It has so many features incorporated and a simple drag drop automation is possible on the Go. Also with three different types of recording in Automation Anywhere treats as an add on of the tool. Simple processed can be developed and tested in a single day. Also different features like OCR and other App integration tool gives an additional benefit to the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features of Automation Anywhere like object cloning and other does not work much efficiently when machines are switched. Also the costing of the tool is much higher compared to other automation tools available in market. Workflow of this tool also does not satisfy its usage and can be further worked upon for improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been solving Finance automation of SAP through this tool, like automating the end to end payment process which includes input in Excel format from a drive, SAP processing and sending the mails to the relevant team members as per requirement. Additional to this several Finance areas are being Automated and Insurance areas also have automated successfully.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation Anywhere is a good RPA tool and one can go with it if opting for RPA. One can automate several functional areas with help of this tool. For Developers I would like to recommend this tool as this is easy to use and interface is also very friendly. With several features provided one can easily automate a process. Also the Control Room functionality for 11 version is very great and should be explored.

Manual and repeated work can be replaced by Bots.

As of my experience i didn't face much issues but for freshers bit confusing to implement bots.

Automation Anywhere - Excellent tool for RPA development
What do you like best about the product?
Automation anywhere is best tool for RPA development. I have developed Simple to very Complex Financial and Non Financial BOT's using Automation Anywhere version 11.x.
The best part of new version is Web based Control Room. AA team added Workload, Device, Queue management, Work Items, improved visual representation of task details running on different BOT runners.
Some improvement in Metabot can be seen as well. It's a great working experience with Automation Anywhere. I love this tool. :)

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a great tool but there are some area in which Automation anywhere team need to take a closer look.
1. Sometime In Attended mode, Object Cloning command work well but it got failed in Un-attended mode.
2. OCR and IR command get fail most of the time.
3. It also get stuck in some command for longer period. It happens occasionally.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked on Simple to Complex process and build BOTs. My task include lots of Excel manipulation, Extract URL/Subject from Email, making Logs, Data entry into SAP application, capturing screenshot.
I use MetaBot to perform SAP operation, Email and Excel commands to perform other task.
It's a great and time saving tool. Easy to use, Not required any strong programming knowledge.

Outstanding experience with AA
What do you like best about the product?
In AA 11.3 version there is no need to copy variables from one task. It automatically gets copy pasted which saves lot of time.

we use single code which is mastertask and same code base is used for different regions. From control room we deploy on multiple VDIs and same code runs on different machines
I created single SAP metabot which has different logics. I am using same metabots for three different processes. So, reusability is really helpful for me here.

Quick mapping should be managed by AA. developer should not manually do this.
Unused variables should get highlighted to maintain proper coding standards

What do you like best about the product?
when we use any command it shows the suggestion to use the system variable and suggest to use the loop for that alternative command. SAP automation is also the best feature in Automation Anywhere. The commands are very easy to read and easy to use. The log file feature in exception handling is also the best feature in AA.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't Like any dislike in this tool. only the GUI of this tool has to be more interactive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excel read and to get large number of data in small number of time it benefits us. also the OCR facility also gives us the idea about the hand written doc or the scanned doc .

What do you dislike about the product?
While working with files on shared drive, the BOT just gives an error and does not run the next line of code if the file is not available. Which has to be handled manually. Ideally it should throw an exception
IQ Bot: Personally speaking it is not that reliable and robust. Looking at other great features, my expectations from IQ Bot were very high.
Also while generating workflows, there are not much options

We can use Java script codes and call it to automation anywhere task bot and we can use sql code which makes our coding easier. We have implemented IQ bot in few of the process where it helps us to extract the data from PDF files which minimized the human effort.

Web attribute part is not available and custom recording is also not available
