What do you like best about the product?
Best thing about AA is its User Interface. User interface is very interactive and rich. it is easy to learn. it has task editor which includes multiple action like window, keyboard & mouse, file & folder actions. using the BOT creator i automated my daily task which helped me a lot. i also liked the smart recording functionality through which i recorded an entire process and was able to automate it. I also like using Web recorder which enabled me to extract some web page data. so my overall experience with Automation anywhere is really great and i am excited for some future updates, new features.
What do you dislike about the product?
1.Sometimes it crashes when i automated a large process having multiple window transition and clicks.
2. Debugging of BOT is sometimes tricky. i have to run the Bot multiple times to figure out the bug.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My daily includes lots of repetitive tasks like ticket logging and report making.and using this tool i automated them. it saved my time and efforts and eventually i was able to focus on new thing and explore more into this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
There are lot many things to go for Automation Anywhere:
i) The tool is extremely user friendly and Detailed training material is provided on the AA University for newbies to learn.
ii) Integration with source control is very refreshing.
iii) Great dashboard with Bot Insight, MetaBots, and IQ Bots which handles processes requiring Intelligence.
iv) Multiple levels of cloning. In case screen cloning doesn't work, we can do object-based cloning or keystroke-level cloning, depending upon what parameters are available to us.
v) An easy to learn and deploy automation tool that can save FTE, effort and time.
vi) Top-notch security protocols which assure us of the safety of our files across multiple locations.

1)Control Room Management is little complex to understand and carry out.
2)Cost is little higher as compared to other RPA tools available in the market

1) Bank Account Reconciliation to Report(R2R)
Problem Statement
Login to multiple bank accounts and navigate to file extraction template. Extraction of file content and generation of Reconciliation report in form of Proof Entry Template and Internet Checklist. Reconciliation of amount from the bank website and from the report generated in form of Proof Entry Template manually.
Challenge
Handle login to 120 such banks on a daily basis. Any login error would block the bank website and file once downloaded would disappear.
Solution
With AA, there was not security risks in logins and it was able to handle processes for all the banks smoothly.

It is a great tool and it is continuously updating. There is lot to learn in the tool and if anyone wants to go for RPA, they should start with this tool. It has got a very colorful UI and awesome and elaborate training videos.
Easy to Automate Complex scenrio with repitative Task
What do you like best about the product?
The Training has all the info about the creation of bot and to automate other applications like excel files. The Process of creating bot is very easy . The excel processing training material is good i.e. how its fetching data from excel . I can say its the future of automation for repeating task. Its very good product in respect to current competitive market. Anyone can learn it and can be used by a person without strong technical knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation part is very tough and its very difficult to understand the procedure. So it will good if it can be simplified . The Training are very lengthy though its informative. Course is also very long. Need to spent more time to learn more feature. The UI and Navigation may be improved . May be changed after my expired trial version. The costing is high as per I know.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing of daily task mail and sending to team members is a repeating and time consuming task .
So its helping on it. Though i have not used the other feature but as per my understanding it will solve more complicated task more easily. I also posted one idea regarding the automation of HR process for an internal idea competition. Though I have not got the chance to implement it or how can it be implemented .

Excellent tool for automating business process
What do you like best about the product?
As an RPA tool, "Automation Anywhere" has excellent Object Identification capability and it's very easy to modify the Objects in case there is any change in the object property. The Business Work Flow can be managed in a very effective way and the ability to centrally manage all the business process execution is very good. The bot can be deployed for almost all kind of applications and it executes at a very fast speed compared to the available RPA tools in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an area of improvement in UI of the tool and it can be made more user friendly. It will add more value if there is an option to write business logic using any scripting language like VB Script, Java Script for the advance users and to handle complex business processes in an efficient way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating business processes for filling up web based form and generating report based on business logic.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the inbuilt commands like Excel and Email automation where compared to other automation tools. Easy to execute and run. Connected with database and retrieved maximum number of records from DB to excel. used FTP command and connected to the client tool for retrieving the data
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to increase the performance and while doing some calculations we are using scripting languages instead of AA. Please overcome this type of issues and add some more commands. we are unable to automate the pdf tasks which are in unstructured manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are Automating several processes with same flow of work with the help of Automation Anywhere and Decreased the errors while performing manual task and increase in productivity done lot of excel operations which we use on our daily basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Automation Anywhere tool because it has an incompatible features like Meta bots and IQbots where other tools doesn't have those things. It was easy to learn and execute. compare with other tools like UIpath and blueprism the user interface will look more attractive. while debugging the code also we have event watchers where all the data in the variables can be seen and easy to capture the wrong details where the bot has updated in the process.

AA is the best tool for handling repetitive tasks,reduction in the workload ,easy to understand even for non technical employees.Process Based on email ,PDF,Excel,reports etc can be easily automated.Error Handling can be easily done.Almost 500 Drag and Drop commands helps to navigate the tool smoothly,while Doing complex projects.Coding section of automation anywhere is much user friendly when compared to other command structures. There are no hidden commands and everything is visible on left bar which will make coding much more easier. There is meta bots included in Automation anywhere which is of reusable component and that helps capturing items which are not possible by few of the available command. and the inclusion of DLL availability is very much helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
comparing to the other sources tool AA tool is bit high in cost when compared to few of the other tools which are available in market as of now.Also the loading of the application takes time sometimes and can be improved.Debugging of the task can also be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
PDF Integration,Excel Tasks.It is also used to solve web application issues by handling. Benifits of using Automation anywhere are that it can reduce human effort.It will also reduce the time taken to finish a process which will obviously take more time for the human to finish it.

Its user friendly in automating repetitive tasks and can be easily understood to the ones of no code base.I highly recommend this tool to others as this is much user friendly even though it is little expensive.And also this can ease their work.

What do you like best about the product?
Love Automation Anywhere specifically IQBOT and meta Bot. Easy to learn and implement. Automation Anywhere provides easy interface and user friendly even a non technical person can adopt with little efforts. IQBOT is very accurate and efficient functionality when it comes to PDF and/or OCR capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Control room or more specifically the complete architecture is bit complex for beginners and hope to have it simplified experience in cloud.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to automate for some of basic challenges like screen recording, PDF extraction etc.

It is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to automate the processes with Drag Drop functionality.
I mostly like the functionality of Metabot which makes AA more scalar, robust, reusable, and can be used to automate a wide variety of applications (SAP, web application, windows application, outlook, excel). It supports running Jave script and vbs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It has fewer features for excel and email automation commands and sometimes object cloning doesn't work properly. Debugging feature is not much enhanced. It has less variable type and so we face issues with dates and numbers format.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have to automate the store reconciliation process for one of the client. In this process, I have to reconcile the cash deposit by different company stores with bank deposits. Using AA, It took very little time and human error was negligible.

It is more script-based so logical analysis should be good.

What do you like best about the product?
A good tool to start with. Lot of Knowedge articles and Automation Anywhere university has helped any new comers to learn, get a hold on the tool and implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
* Frequent changes in the architecture and tough to upgrade the older versions. Few core logics of the commands were updated resulting in updating the logic - hence can be considered as not a smooth transition when migrated to a new version of the tool.
* The architecture of the firms changes based on multiple reasons. If in case there are any issues, there will be a lot of time being invested to identify the root cause of the issue and then provide a solution.
* Initial AA support should try to understand the question/issue first of the requestor rather than sharing the default Knowledge articles to look at by default. Most of the initial replies we get from the Level 1 support where we do not get answers and have to explain multiple times and then the issue gets escalated. This can be avoided if the support guys understand the issue first and then act accordingly. This would help in addressing the issue much faster rather than going back and forth to get a solution.
