Automation Anywhere is easier way to learn RPA
What do you like best about the product?
Its simplicity attracts the most. Also its a quick learning tool. Even a beginner can relate to it well.
I have created 2 or 3 bots for simple reading and writing purpose and they were really easy to set up and deploy. It is easier tool to handle when compared to Blueprism .
It has so many features which are not available in other RPA tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although Automation anywhere is easy and fast method to learn RPA but it has a few drawbacks according to me:
I tried using Automation anywhere while reading and wring but the OCR is bit unreliable.
It is too costly for individuals to get license.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are basically trying to automate our day in day out processes like reading and updating Excel sheets for tracking purpose. We are also trying to further automate this process by attaching this excel sheet to a mail and sending it to specific inbox.
This process though simple but consumes 1 hr daily.
so we will reduce atmost 5 hr per week by this process automation.

Very good RPA tool for automation. Easy to learn. Many more features compared to other softawres.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere has numerous features known as commands which help you to automate tasks. Out of 500 commands, the most helpful feature I found for me is OCR or Object Cloning. This command can imitate your actions as similar to humans to a far extent. And this is just one feature out of 500 commands. What do you dislike about the product?
Automation Anywhere has various commands but most of the commands use a stringent method of application. Adding these commands for dynamic websites and different platforms will be only for better. If these stringent and peculiar requirements are understood properly, the software is nothing but perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm automating several tasks which mainly holds onto accounting and taking care of reports.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Rather than spending 1 hour everyday for a month to complete a mundane work, automate it and complete the work by investing 2 hours and automating the work for following month.

Start is a little bit confusing for the fresher as well as a experienced person to come into building the bots.

We are trying to manage our daily reporting tasks under Automation Anywhere.

I would suggest to go forward with Automation Anywhere as the organisation helps us with different kind of live training on how to build the bots and make human work easy and efficient.

I started my RPA experience with Automation anywhere which provides more exposed API's with a well defined Documentation that allows easy understanding for the API's and working of and with Automation anywhere.
It helps me in rapidly upgrading and deploying the bots.

Automation anywhere provides Less access to database.
The license cost gets too high when used for longer times.
The complex structures built on Automation anywhere gets ard to difficult.
Debugging gets lot hectic when large structures are being used.
Overhead gets high sometimes when muli-level authentication is being used.
Installation should be made simpler since it causes problems sometimes when done behind a firewall.

Connecting Automation anywhere with chatbots to perform tasks and help user with a better experience for a proof of concept suggesting and showcasing the capabilities of Automation anywhere.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of commands in AA Client gives confidence to a developer who doesn't even have a coding background. The Knowledgebase gives us a complete description along with examples so that developers can easily understand and try each and every aspect of the tool. The Bots from Bot store are useful for different types of domains. The Support team is amazing with their quick response and the solutions. And the Control room user-friendly and it is the secure place to save our confidential data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to improve Background automation capability of commands like Object cloning, Manage window control and click, etc So the developer/ user can parallelly work on something else. There are no commands could do the extraction of text from PDFs/ Text file and saving it into a variable, right now we have to use Bots from Botstore to perform the same. This Bot consists of MetaBot. Hence the A2019 doesnot support MetaBot, the migration of already developed projects with the use of these kinds of Bots will be a problem.

We can save a lot of time and cost by making the business automated with AA. Also, it is secure and robust.

With the release of A2019, AA will get a upper hand now. The whole platform is written in Java, make is more robust then its predecessor written in .NET. Secondly combining the recorder into one make a stand out in the players. A2019 has clould offering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing of the product is major factor of disliking the product. Hope A2019 will priced in a bracket that will be accepted by everyone. People go away from automation anywhere because of their pricing. Now A2019 doesnt not support some older version of bot, which means the bot will be re-written in A2019.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in reducing the mistakes while entering data. The bot would directly read the data and enter it properly with out no mistakes.

Yes would recommended it other organizations. it is very robust system. IF you are setting a COE in the organsaztion it would be better to use AA.

What do you like best about the product?
The one thing I like the best about Automation Anywhere is that in the Bot creator, we can see lines of code just like any other programming language. The overall presentation of the code is very crisp and allows for fast development. There is automatic indentation that happens with the code and each type of code line is color coded, example, Comments always appear in green color, etc. A large chunk of code can be reviewed at a quick glance in the UI.
All the commands are categorized and listed on the left hand side of the screen, providing for easy access to all the capabilities. In each command, the options are very well laid out for selection. Commands can be copy pasted and also disabled/enabled when required.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Work Load Management feature is only a push based feature. Work Load is pushed to the available Bot Runners and gets executed. There should have been an option where a running Bot can itself pick up a new transaction from the Queue, so that we can create loops for processing transactions and keep picking up new transactions as one transaction is completed. Another need is an ability to generate reports or export the Work Load Queue using code.
There is also room for improvement for the Bot creator. Some key features are lacking in AA and are required, like checking if declared variables are used or not in the code (unused variables), select multiple variables and copy to another task, powerful debugging features etc which are available in other conventional programming IDEs. integration of the code with other version management tools like GIT, TFS etc with branching, versioning, tagging support etc is also a highly required feature for current Enterprise Environments where there are multiple environments and releases of the Bot and multiple versions of the Bot need to be maintained in Internal TFS/GIT repositories
One more feature that is required to be integrated and available out of the box is working with Outlook to download emails, reply, forward, move emails with more features than the existing available Email Automation commands.

Automation Anywhere has been a very beneficial tool for Automating processes which are repetitive in nature. Automation Anywhere works well with applications like Excel, SQL database, Internet Explorer and File Folders. These applications combined can be used to design solutions that automated mundane tasks in Excel, IE based applications etc.
