Automation Anywhere allows organizations to automate the processes which are manual, simple and repetitive in nature and can eliminate the human touch and helps to focus on complex processes as well as on your business

The UI and easy to understandable language and symbols for all actions.

What do you dislike about the product?
The concept of data table should be added for excel data.
I mean storing data in tabular format datatype.
Also add system variable to interate the node value in xml.

I used Run excel macro and much more about excel action.
also the loops are very accurate for users need.

Recording tool works smoothly compared to other competitors.

I'm having problems with running bots in stealth mode, though this may be fixed in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Repetitive tasks that doesn't need complicated decision making processes. My time working on those was shortened significantly

this is best bot creator to handle desktop application automatically.it will show graphs to analyze the performance.. so its best for accuracy and reduce manpower work..whoever good in scripting language he can handle very well commands of this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
many older browsers are not supportable. this tools has some problem with google chrome... and so many commands are not supportable.complex data types are not availabel.read/write excel is not that much convinent.more mail commands are not availabel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE created one bot to resolve timesheet related problem ... sending the reminders to all employee with the help of BOT. to centralize job batch scheduling

to reduce the manpower work and more accuracy this is the best tool. if regarding cost wise also its very good.it will be manage job scheduling and execute batch job processing.

Nothing really to dislike. It was really helpful sessions. Could be more user driven.

What do you like best about the product?
Im basically from mechanical background, so i have idea on programming language to automate via script.
But AA is easy to use and efficient in automating. This tool is simple and powerful to automate things effectively. Compatible and user friendly in case of handling commands inside workbench. I suggest AA for RPA.

What do you dislike about the product?
i find difficulties in invoking REST API service via AA. i was not able to pass a file to REST API through AA command.
i could n't invoke .js file from run script command. so AA team could enhance these features, accordingly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am reducing manual work of user and support teams with Automation anywhere. Say, automating manual work ticketing, email processing, excel works etc.

The capabilities and ease of learning and developing the new automated process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in my mind as of now what I have experienced with the tool.

We are in the process of learning and accommodating this as a practice in our organization.

It's an awesome tool that I have experienced so far compared to a few other tools, would suggest playing around with the community edition to understand the capability of the tool before deciding a tool for your requirement.

SAP Integration, IQ Bot and Meta Bot have best features of Automation Anywhere whivh makes prcess easy and smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Screen Scraping (Object cloning) not performs same behaviour all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excel Automation, web table extraction, Screen Scraping and currently working on SAP Automation.

Screen Scraping is not not Successful in all screens, i am expecting some permanent solution for that

t is not that cheap.
Sometimes applications takes a little time for loading.
There is a lack of support on handling datatypes.

Few of the most easiest use case that we have tried is to create access, account unlock and password reset

1. Most repetitive work and rule Based work.
2. More people working on the same thing for long hours.
3. Data Entry places which is constant and where applications are not continuously changing.
4. Where there is not any critical thinking or human intervention needed for decision making.

Great Implementation
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere is a great tool. It helps to enable automation of the repetitive, rules-based activities. Here's what I see as valuable in the tool: •The user friendly interface enables a quick learning process by any developer, and the ability to interact with virtually any system. •Metabots - This is an intelligent component/functionality that makes connection to websites or web forms a breeze. This functionality also works great with our corporate ERP system. •Technical support - Very quick, efficient, and acknowlegeable. They were able to address all our inquiries very satisfactorily. The opportunities for improvement I see include: •Object cloning - This component seems to be unstable in version 10.7. During development/test cycles it is common to see object cloning components that were working previously stop full of a sudden. In these cases we usually migrate those components to metabots. •Control Room - Enabling the ability to customize it would be a great addition. In version 10.7 we need to pay attention to the URL to differentiate between Dev, QA, and Prod. We could also use the function to create our own custom dashboards. •Give metabots the ability to work with objects in applications running on a terminal server. This functionality would be a great help to developers. "
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing which I found, is not suitable for small process or requirements, as cost vs output is the concern. There should be some low cost solution to help in small automation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As it is best in RPA but the tool is yet not available in the cloud environment. I hope it will come soon in cloud environment.

No second thought on going for another RPA other than Automation anywhere if you are looking for an RPA tools.
