Process automation on different platforms
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere works seamlessly with Microsoft applications, populating and collecting webpage data, and with Windows applications such as Office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, Anywhare Automation software does not work for applications on platforms other than windows, such as Fedora Linux. This makes interactions with Libre Office difficult, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have automated processes of various kinds, tasks that were manual and time-consuming for our employees are now being replaced by robots and these employees allocated to more complex tasks.

Automating the right way with Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that AA being the most widely used Automation Anywhere tool says it all about the tool. The tool let's you easily automate rule based tasks and now cognitive automation can also be achieved using IQ Bot feature. The different environments like Dev, Prod and QA let's you easily distinguish the run. The IQ bot let's you perform cognitive automation very easily and is used to fetch data from different types of PDF Files.
AA is quite robust and has almost all the activities required. Excel as a Data Base is also one operation that is very useful.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are not much to dislike, but the readability of the code in AA is very poor. It is very hard for us to debug our code. It is very hard to find else part for a if or vice versa. Backward Compatibility was also an issue observed. More window appear activities could be added. The pricing can also be reduced, as it's on the higher side as compared to the competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating mostly excel operations. Object cloning is also used vastly and helps in automating the front end side.
The time required for automating a task has been considerably reduced after using AA. The tasks are more robust and work on volatile environments as well.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great software for people who want to build their career in the RPA field. The trainings on Automation Anywhere University are pretty good and let's you know about the product even more through virtual labs. I would highly recommend this software.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Academic version was released recently, had already used a temporary version, but this academy has gotten much better. I missed such a version, as the other tools release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Works with spreadsheets, typing, conferences. RPA helps a lot in these time-consuming processes. With this I can do many more tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I am starting to study the tool, the little I used so far, it looks very good, easy to use, intuitive, fast to run. Per hour meets all needs. I want to learn more, and this academic version is amazing. My English needs to improve a lot, I use the web translator to understand some terms and such. But nothing a course doesn't solve (or even google for now).

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and object cloning allows powerful implementation. Control Room is great and lets me easily schedule bots. The Control Room API means that I can make separate programs like chat bots which can call programs on demand when users request it. The Excel section makes it extremely easy to navigate spreadsheets, fill in fields, and is probably the best and easiest implementation of automating Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
The drag and drop elements can get repetitive and the lack of refactoring makes it difficult to rename variables. Instead of having a list of all the variables, I would like to have a more complex version of variables with initialization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked with employees from multiple departments that wanted tasks automated. Using Automation Anywhere has saved hundreds of hours that would of been spent manually reviewing and filling out forms.

It's flexibility to adapt any platform. Made really easy to program your bot. IQ Bot is ice on the cake

Clear and easy to use developer client but a small community for support.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create, edit, and create new bots. The design of the client makes it easy to develop something quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Small issues such as random crashes of the application client and small duplication bugs. (could be Citrix environment-related)

Many issues across our organization such as reporting, filing, recording, and submitting records.

I think it is an extremely powerful tool that can be utilized both in small to large companies.

Automation Anywhere Is Robust And User-Friendly!
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and platform of Automation Anywhere is great and it has been an extremely useful tool. The courses and GUI has been seamless and user-friendly---allowing anyone in a particular organization to immediately add value through automation. The RPA capabilities improve efficiency and opens up new opportunities to streamline processes, allowing more time to tackle the issues that most effect the organization's bottom line. Manual, repetitive, and drawn-out processes can be drastically decreased by automation, thereby increasing KPI rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may not be as user-friendly for the more traditional and seasoned worker. Some features are foreign to what they have experienced previously. Certain features are not closely compatible with what they are accustom to using. So, a more friendly layout that retains much of the same functionality while offering new knowledge on automation would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document retention and storage will be more seamless and efficient. By flagging key words/phrases in emails from customers, received deliverables can be highlighted and the corresponding attachments can be automatically stored in a desired location. This saves time by eliminating the steps undertaken to manually search and save email-attachments to a desired location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To really take the time and familiarize yourself with the features and tools the software offers. There are several features, which may or may not be necessary, that provides your organization with multiple options in route to automation. You want to take the time to explore as many as you possibly can. Doing so will give you a pretty good idea of what will be most beneficial to your organization's strategic and automation goals.

There is nothing to dislike about working with Automation Anywhere. They are efficient, helpful, and ensure that nothing slips under the radar.
