Amazing Automation Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
Automation Anywhere has a codeless approach of solving repetitive task. The codeless approach makes it easy to understand for even the people from non-cs background.
What do you dislike about the product?
The IQ Bot could have been available in trial version as well. Takes some time when the dataset is huge or the files which we are uploading is huge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Repetitive task. Reduced man hours and labour and provided accuracy

It is one of the best RPA tools available in the market and I would suggest every RPA professional to try it once.I am sure once you use it you won't use any other RPA tool.It's really that easy and catchy.Moreover one of the thing about Automation Anywhere is that beginners can learn and get certified on the various courses that are available on the official website.The certficates provided by Automation Anywhere team holds huge value when you go for a project,interviews or even otherwise.The training videos are top quality and the trainer literally tries and rather simplifies even the difficult topics so that you understand it very well.
I have used other RPA tools as well but one thing I can guarantee you that none of them are as good as Automation Anywhere.
So,must use tool for every RPA professional.

What do you like best about the product?
Easier to learn for the developers than the competitive tools for automation in market
Lot of out of box features when it comes to SAP, Excel, and others
Object cloning is more intuitive, hence a more easier way to mimic human actions

What do you dislike about the product?
OCR feature is not very efficient, effficiency can be increased more
In case of encrypted code, computing resources used are very high, and hence freezing of systems is experienced with heavy code

Repetetive tasks to be automated. Lot of non value adding human effort has been released to be automated and the human experience and expertise is being used in more value adding tasks, which has unlocked a lot of new strategic initiatives and potential game changer ideas

It is a good option because the UI for coding is more intuitive and devleopers learn it fast

What do you like best about the product?
IQ Bot is best component which captures accurate date using OCR.The automation anywhere provides the wide range of functionalities, some of them what I used and felt best was object cloning as it gives the very good scope of capturing the data from the web applications as well as from the desktop applications. There are various different commands for different types of applications such as desktop and web applications. the excel automation commands provides very quick and accurate processing of the excel, we can even use the excel as the database to fetch the data. The error handlers are very accurate and we can take the screen shot of the error as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Basic Workflow It requires improvement.here are certain minor limitation , as we can not declare the data type of the variable and list variable is not as convenient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex business problems and the FTE benefits are realized to customer. Implemented solutions to customer with in 4 weeks which other RPA tool might take more time.

, Better RPA solution to implement at enterprise level to enable all the type of applications in the IT industry covering all the domains and regions. Should able to integrate with third party applications/interfaces like OCR, ML, Analytics Dashboard etc.

There are certain minor limitations, as I see sometimes even community and licensed version stops and keep on loading as Deploying Bot. From my end, I feel this has to be fixed IN AA360 or A2019.

There we have thousands of employees whom we need to go and revoke access or provide the access. It helped me and the team to reduce the manual efforts at many places. I have used the email automation where I have used screen automation features

I would highly recommend Automation Anywhere to other users due to its features, ease of use ,less coding experience and many useful commands and build in functionalities. the metabot and IQ Bots are the added very good advantage to make the process automation get completed with ease. The automation anywhere provides the quick support. the support team and the mentors are very experienced.

What do you like best about the product?
The Control Room feature is greatly appreciated. This option allow me to monitor all my bots & save time to each automation. MetaBot feature was a great addition to help with smoke testing of a unstable web based environment
What do you dislike about the product?
OCR & image recognition feature limitation. We do not have an alternative to these two features. The disappointment is more based on the unreach potential of these features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several repetitive back offices task and processes. Reusability of the script that we are creating. We were able to do alot of cost avoidance and are ready to built a new road map for the future.

Always do POC to validate your company requirements FIRST. At first you won't know that a feature could be benefical or mandatory until you actually try it on several occasion. Practice makes perfect

what i like the best about automation anywhere is that i really now can handle lot's of work and fix issues as i don't waste anytime collecting data from websites and emails and i let automation anywhere do that for me, simple and easy to you,

well for the moment as i don't know much yet about automation anywhere, there's no much things i don't like it about automation anywhere, only like a bit complicated to get to use the bot and to create but it''s manageable and from the videos there i could learn a lot, i'm still getting to know the program

as solving problems i could save time and let automation anywhere do the job for me as collecting data

There are some things that needs to be improved:
1. We cannot identify the ending statement of any command like If, Loop etc. Its very hard when we having multiple/nested Ifs or Loops.
2. Didn't work with JavaScript.
3. Python scripts cannot be used within this tool.

We would definitely recommend Automation Anywhere to be opted to automate different process from different domain as this is easy, simple UI and good for beginners to start learning on this.

It offers a wide range of features together at one place. The major requirement for today is the OCR and the cognitive capabilities which is well presented by the IQBOT feature of Automation Anywhere. different type of recorders (web, Smart and Screen) offers a wide range of implementation features and are helpful in implementing all type of applications.
Easy integration of database commands with excel can be leveraged where complex excel operations are involved. In short, its a one stop shop for our automation recommendations.

We do not have ready to use functionality for implementing Multi Bots.
Also it takes a considerable amount of time to start an xml session.
Very few excel commands are being provided by AA.

1. When there are slight changes in the backend of any web browser controls like Path, DOMXPath, HRef etc. will change which result in the failure of code. And if not used takes lot of time for recognizing objects.
2. Certain letters or symbols automatically disappear in the set text fields sometimes during the run.

It is a secure, easy to use and reliable resource to automate most of the redundant tasks happening in most of the organizations accross the world. But requires a bit of attention for tasks that has to do with frequently changing websites(UI) and bulk and important data.

I think the user interface is great and makes it really easy to quickly build runbooks. The available integrations are good too

So far, not much. It's been a steep learning curve as it would be with any complex tool

We've replace system center orchestrator with AA, it's taking care of lot's of business processes which make our lives easier!
