User friendly, Easy GUI, Huge savings, Compatible to different type of applications.

Sometimes connectivity to the servers(VM's) is slow, Need to improve OCR quality more,

We are using v10.7,so we have limited features in Metabots ,
we are planning to upgrade to v11.x
Other than this, the newer latest version has all additional capabilities

We recommend other users to go for Automation Anywhere product, compared to other tools AA Is better for user experience and people with no coding experience can easily work on it and expertise. Its a go to tool for any customer who is looking for automation of standard processes. We will recommend it to all users and companies looking out for automation in their companies.

What do you like best about the product?
- Automation Anywhere is best at it's user friendly User interface.
- Easy to understand what AA commands can do and any user can easily learn AA even if the user does not have any prior knowledge of coding languages.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Installation of AA - Control room is complicated.
- Repository won't accept two metabots with same content. In order to create a metabot with the existing metabot, we had to redo the existing metabot and add changes we wanted then upload to repository.
- Metabot designer needs to be improved. It would be better if there is an option of copying assets from one metabot to another metabot.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- A lot of manual power has been reduced and really an ample amount of time is saved.
- One of our processes takes aruond 420 manual hours to complete. With AA, the bot out performed and finished the process within 62 hours which shows that it is almost 7 times faster than manual process.

The like most in AA tool are Metabot , recorders, IQ bot and Bot store, Control room, credentials vault,version maintaining and the support from the team.
Working with excel is made very easy.
Its very easy in capturing and setting up the conditions, we can develop bots in very quick time.
By having this we can easily calculate Cost impact and business impact.

What do you dislike about the product?
In our 10.7 version we do not have load balancer and no queue concept to handle multi bot and not much data types available.
Metabot does not have all the command incorporated in it and ,hope this has been taken care in latest version.
Tool not much supported with application like Silverlight and flex built, even though it has plugins installed we some times face issues in identifying controls.

A Real Automation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Everything we need is exactly in front of us. Available resources make things easier to automate. Control room is cloud based which is a good thing to access and we can see AA a only RPA tool on the Cloud. Repository manager helps in storing all Task, version control helps in tracking the tasks which is key feature in Automation anywhere. MetaBot is a key feature which works with the pre recorded screens it helps in automating even if applications are down. Calling Scripts, reading XML feature helps to elevate Programming skills too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multi Bot Strategy where the input needs to be shared between multiple machines from Control Room.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are very lengthy human process which consumes lot of manual power and once the processing done QC team will validate which again waste of man power. Automation completely removes Quality Check team, Client feels happy for ROI. Especially with the financial related processes a minor thing may affect profit, so Automation anywhere helps in reducing human mistakes.

A good tool to automate process, makes things easier for better ROI. User friendly for better coding also helps to meet client expectations.

Simple to develop, time to deploy and ease of use is great. The tool is designed to suite needs of business users and running/managing bots is also simplified.
It also supports deployment on cloud and integrates well. The technical support team is very responsive and there are loads of FAQs for getting help on technical issues.

Could have been more user friendly in terms of development and integration of third party codes.
There should be more functionalities related to image automation and citrix automation.
Graphical view instead of line of code view would be better for developers.
More of core programming attributes needs to be supported like support for more types of variables and other .NET framework features so that developers would not need to resort to DLLs/scripts for additional automation functionalities.

There are some problems in object cloning when the application that is being automated is legacy. The presence of legacy technology checkbox helps but it can still be improved.

Ours is a financial company which includes providing retirement services and record keeping. Clearly, there is a need to deal with huge amounts of data. Business problems we had solved include:
